This is a good one.
I really like the Personal Housing that FFXIV has inside the Guild Homes there. You can just buy an instanced room there and you have your own space inside Guild Headquarters. I think that would be awesome!
Separate personal housing would be amazing but that’s not what this topic is about
I suggested a jungle or plant glider a couple of times. Thank you for making the Floral Glider
I like your list
I don’t much care about the rideable objects since I do not use them personally.
But I am a solo player and the majority of what you mentioned would be great fun!
My ranger. This was fun to put together.
I think Tarnished Coast Roleplayers [TCRP] may be the guild for you. It is heavy on RP and there is always lots of events and RP going on. I think I can invite, but not too sure. I can check and if not, send you some officer names so you can get in there.
I despise the Sylvari, “This rose has thorns! And here they are!” It’s awful, but I get it from other players every so often. Maybe not enough to activate this option, but It’s great that it is available just in case I’m in a funky mood one day
I didn’t even consider this, because I play a Sylvari. So it didn’t even hit me until I saw this. I don’t think it necessarily needs to be addressed. If it’s not in the storyline, it’s not in the storyline. Forcing the issue might turn out with a not so great story. Maybe someone will get introduced at a later time?
A separate trait line for underwater combat. Doesn’t have to be 3×3×3 necessarily, but enough to add more variety whilst in the depths. Take current traits for spearguns/spears/tridents away from the current trait lines, and put them in the underwater combat line instead, for example.
This is an idea with merit. I think working in something like this.
I enjoy the depth that underwater combat brings to the game so I really hope they do not remove it. Yes, it is a bit overlooked, but it has excellent potential. I like that you get different weapons for that situation. It also provides a “reason” for your character being able to stay underwater for so long (breathers). instead of just magically being able to breathe down there forever.
I was bummed when they took out that pvp map with the underwater capture point…
I forget what each one is called so I was about to start writing, I use a Shift 2, then 3,4,2or 5, maybe a Shift 1 if people are in need then finish with a 2…lol.
I do not like to WvW, I only visit EOTM when I want something in particular and it is in a zerg to make it easier on myself. But maybe my two cents can help you in some way?
I do use Verdant Etching on the Druid Tree. I really like it. I also use Glyph of Empowerment during CA to boost healing on allies. I immediately use #3, followed by #4. #2 or #5 depending on my range at the time and the situation. I also like using Glyph of Rejuvenation for a big support heal on my team if needed and I try to finish with a #2 since it is a delayed heal.
These are already in the game but not tameable.
Coyote, Dolphin, and Osprey
I somewhat agree with this. I used to have a hybrid build before the new trait system was implemented. When that was no longer possible, I died a little inside. Now you HAVE to pick three and max them out. Whereas before I could do partial trait lines.
I remember when I would see a Spirit ranger back when they could move. They had a whole jungle of stuff behind them lol. I use the Elite Spirit 100% of the time to bring back all downed players in one swoop and avoid a complete wipe. It is irreplaceable to me, though I’m sure no one notices the lives saved. The smaller ones, I only use one from time to time if it is a long stationary fight to make sure everyone is benefiting the entire time.
I look at player characters a lot when in the city. Zoom in and all. So I can judge how they look. I enjoy seeing a very well-made character that looks great or have a chuckle if I see something ridiculous.
I usually only use a waypoint one time to get to the map I need and I walk the rest of the way. I’m really cheap and waypointing all the time is expensive!
The only character I ever play. I play dress up a lot but this particular outfit I put together has to be one of my favorites.
I would love class necklaces. Not girly, but cool ones made out of stainless steel or something hardy. Like the picture below (Yay Rangers).
Also, I use a canvas sling bag instead of a purse. So if you guys ever came out with canvas bags with the logo, I would definitely buy that!
I saw the option for wall decals, I would love that idea. To put a big one behind the couch wall or something. GW2 art is beautiful, I can only guess it would turn out great.
Most importantly, Please sell the cookbook from April Fools!!
I meant the root. Many ranger mains preferred the old mechanics. Myself included. But don’t start another kitten argument over how we’re all wrong, it’s over.
Yes, the “root” or target lock really was a must for me. Which bums me out because I received someone’s sword from the story (If you know what I mean >.>) And I was really excited about using the skin, then I remembered and got bummed out. It’s sitting in my bank now instead.
I’m probably one of the few who liked the sword the way it was. Mainly because it allowed me to “chase” in PvP when it would lock on. I was always a shortbow/Sword Dagger Ranger. This animation has single-handedly caused me to make a whole different build around different weapons and stats due to how awful it looks.

Thank you for all the responses and answers. I hope some time in the future they add a correction. Even if we don’t get dye slots for back packs, but at least even an automatic “mimic” type thing where it will copy the color of your glider.
Fingers Crossed
I got the moth glider and while I think it is very neat, I immediately noticed a slight issue. I think this is the first time that a glider is both dyeable and a backpiece. The back piece has a default red color and does not match up the gliding version. So it makes it a little odd. Maybe this is something that was overlooked but perhaps a future fix for these types of gliders in general.

Also, a hood like this. The only hood that has the mouth cover as well is the Whispers hood for Males Only. Can we at least get something like this for the females.
Can we get some plant-inspired gliders please. This is a jungle expansions after all It would be awesome for Sylvari.
Here are some glider ideas.
I just want to say thank you, Arenanet for adding this excellent feature. Seems like a small detail, but what an awesome way to give flexibility to those that like to play with their appearance. I think I spend more in Total Makeover Kits than anything and I always feel like I need to have one in the bank, just to have it as a previewer.
It is very nice to think of something like this that can help you gain more from players but also help us the players make decisions and play around a bit before spending.
Sylvari-inspired gathering tools please.
This is beautiful. I think either way it will look great
I think this suggestion has merit. I would like to see something like this get implemented. I only do dungeons when I want a certain skin and no other time. And when I do, I hate it and force myself to do it because I dislike all the players skipping through everything. I would gladly forgo playing with other people so I can have a better experience.
I’ve read some and skimmed over most of the responses here, I expect mine will be taken as a grain of salt by most as well, BUT…
Who. Cares.
Unless you’re applying to ArenaNet for a job.
(almost) EVERY company in America is trying to do more with less. I wear five different hats at my job because as people leave, I get to do their jobs in addition to the one(s) I’m already doing. “Upstairs” too amibitious? Yeah, that’s their job.
What matters is the product. Everyone here’s acting like they know everything on management, and I’m sure several of you do, but what it all boils down to (unless you’re employed by them or seeking employment) is whether or not the product sells. It ain’t a charity.
Let’s use the forums to discuss the actual product/game?
This is a good comment. You are right.
This is awesome! Cooking is my favorite crafting profession to level up. Great job!
My opinion is that it needs to be removed. It reminds me of the original FFXIV. I believe it also had a Diminishing Return system in which the longer a player played, the more he was punished. Everyone hated that as well…
•Skills need to be aimed or ground targeted
This forces the player to be focused when fighting•Promote active gameplay
passive gameplay is just brain dead and unskillfull
But…the reasoning behind these two comments contradict each other O_o
Well, the bundle was removed from the Gem Store so there we go I guess.
No i still see Bandit Sniper Appearance Pack right there for 2000 gems, so no it wasnt removed.
It’s gone for me. Then it’s a single time thing then. Doesn’t even appear on the little ad slide …weird. Thank you for letting me know

My ranger. Longbow/Staff.
Edit: Added Longbow Picture as well.

I remember the first time I tried to do the Silverwaste jumping puzzle, this asura saw me looking lost and she guided the way for me all the way to the end. And it was still a challenging puzzle! It tests your patience, that’s for sure…
I don’t want everything but I’m considering buying this. I don’t care about the glider much but it’s alright to have I guess (I’ll never know if I may want that style later on). I know I don’t care at all about the weapon skin, not really my style. I just like the outfit and I certainly spend gems regularly on Total Makeover kits so that’s nice. The Shadow dyes are cool. I have never spend gems on buying dye kits, so this is an overpay on my part, but it’s neat to have them anyway..you never know.
You can always use Outfits for any armor type if you’re into that as well.
I would love it if the names were hidden. For two reasons. My pets do not have any names so I just remove the “juvenile” part of it. Not because I am lazy but because I have no particular name in mind. Also, the main reason why I never join a guild is because I hate that the guild tag is shows besides the pet name as well. This is really an eyesore.
I use Cleric’s with Staff/Longbow and a BM line as well. It works very well for me.
Try this one.

If not, just go to the homepage of guildwars2.com and you will see the “Play for Free” ad on the right side of the page. Hope it works out. Have a great time! Not what they’re asking.
There are no active trials for GW.
Oh you are right. I read the line too quickly. Thank you for correcting me.
I purchased the Ultimate edition. There was a 4 day wait time on the gems for me. But yeah, I bought it for the deal on the gems that I knew I was going to spend anyway.
Try this one.

Ranger since launch. I have tried other professions like Necromancer and Guardian. I have gotten those to 80, but I never play them again. I always go back to good old faithful.
While I prefer skins so I can mix and match, I like Cultural Outfits a lot. Like the Cook’s Outfit and Wedding Outfit. They change based on the race putting it on. As a sylvari, we do not have a whole lot of cultural options and it is cool to have those unique options.
Hi Serpiente,
You can certainly go to full Berserker gear. However, just keep in mind this will make you very squishy. The enemies you will face in the jungle hit hard. If you are comfortable with dodges and using them appropriately without wasting them I say give it a shot. Also, make sure you have some emergency utilities to help get you out of tight spots. I think conditions are a good choice as well, maybe go with a stat that gives good condition damage and some survivability though I am not too familiar with condition builds, but they certainly seem fun.
I personally spec into BeastMastery and choose high damage (Birds) pets to help me out. Rotating them appropriately without receiving the 45sec penalty when your pet dies certainly helps. I have a more tanky build with BM spec and it works great for me.
So if you go full dps make sure you are dodging correctly, and are making full use of your pet to help you. Also utilities that will help you avoid damage to yourself and help you get away such a Lightning Reflexes. Addition: I recommend a pet that immobilizes to keep the enemy at bay. Or if you spec into Beastmastery, you can always pick the trait that allows your pet to taunt to keep them away from you.

Try a bird. They are able to move while executing the F2 ability and if timed right will attack twice in a row. I am strictly a bird user and they are (I believe) the only pets that can attack in motion. I haven’t used any of the HoT pets, but they’re ugly so I won’t be testing them anytime soon. I suggest perhaps a Hwk/Eagle. You can use the F2 ability every 4 seconds if you are BeastMaster.
I like that players have a variety of stat builds to choose from. I love a game that allows players to play the way they want. Even if a group of others feel there is a particular best, the fact that you have options is a great thing. I personally like to have survivability so I have never used Berserker gear.
I am working on Kudzu Tier 1 crafting. The only thing I need to buy on the TP is the WvW things, I think they are called Shards of Glory and the other one…I forget the name. Everything else, I am hunting around for. Every night I go to a map, I try to pick one I haven’t finished yet within that level of gathering mats, and start gathering. Unless it is something that is really not for me, like the WvW, I try to save money and do it myself. My goal is to craft one material a day. It will take me a month or two but it has been fun.
