why is everyone saying thank you like they saved thief but in another thread everyone says thief is still garbage

kitten is thief still garbage? only class I enjoy in this game and I want to come back but THIEF SUCKS and apparently nothing has changed

I have run into some complications in real life sooo I need to refund the expansion although I’m going to buy the expansion at the end of this year again. I’m wondering if it’s possible to do a refund and go back to just the regular core game until then

you should always have a shortbow for when you’re gonna die and need to run away or you need to shoot something at range.

your other weapon can be anything really, weapons only matter a lot in dungeons for optimal dps on bosses. but when i played thief i went dagger pistol which was pretty good. dagger dagger is probably the best for single target damage while sword pistol is best for fighting multiple enemies

That’s pretty accurate. Typically (not necessarily this way in GW2) a raid is a souped up dungeon for larger groups of people that takes longer to complete. It will have more complex mechanics and less forgiveness of player error.

if thief actually got a good elite it’d be the one class everyone complains about lol. the curse of playing the assassin class in a pvp game.

i use metabuilds but i usually change some things around to my liking

i see videos of it and hear the term a lot but I don’t really know what it is. gw2 is the only mmo i played in the past 7 years, maplestory the first but that game never had raids.

so how is it different from dungeons? it just looks like a massive version of a dungeon to me

thief is a garbage class now and will probably be one forever because the people who work at arenanet don’t like playing against them

reroll to another class until thief gets some buffs. this class blows right now and it isn’t fun to play anymore. all the other classes are soooo much more fun except warrior but they’re always the boring class in every game

hmm I hope it’s only popular due to being new so that it becomes unpopular after a couple of months. it’s a pretty hard class to master so it will probably scare some people away

I can’t stop staring at my abilities for cooldowns and seeing if I have the right buffs from the dragon on and half way through a fight I just begin smashing every button on my keyboard that has a keybind to it. it’s so many abilities for me to click + i have no clue when to use what ability

has it been like this for anyone else? I’ve only ever done this on my first character, but not on my second or third which was a guardian and warrior

do you think it’ll be one of the more popular classes like warrior and ele or one of the least popular like engi and necro

staff dd is actually pretty good, but a lot of thief mains are so dumb and don’t know how to play anything that doesn’t spam stealth and hit and run so they won’t understand things like p/p…

no, then arena net will lose money because people who bought the game 6 months ago like me will have to pay less for the expansion instead of paying for the entire game again. i wish i joined this game when it became f2p.

I agree I don’t know why they don’t just make a 1v1 sytstem in this game… custom 1v1s aren’t nearly as fun because they barely matter. a real 1v1 system is way better because it’s more formal I guess…

seriously though why is there no 1v1 system? did they say anything specifically about why it isn’t in the game?

or are they just waiting to put it in another expansion so that we’ll buy the game a third time(with the core game and heart of thorns for free!!!)?

i made a new character and it got 2 exp boosters from some chest thing but i got bored with the class at level 5 then deleted him and just remembered he had 2 exp boosters. is there a way i can get them back

I know Charr’s are the best lorewise, but aesthetically which race do you think is the best with engineers? Both with clothing and skill animations

Because this or Rangers are the most likely classes to get buffed, while elementalists and mesmers are probably going to get some nerfs. If you master this class and learn everything about it, you’ll be a beast when it finally gets some buffs which I predict will happen by christmas time. trust me I’m an expert at this. just keep complaining about the class

hopefully they get destroyed with nerfs and necros get some buffs

necro is the worst in pvp and pve. elementalist is the best in pvp and pve. this game has balance problems.
