Sorry it took so long to answer this. All the recruitment team have been either sick or busy. Our multi-guilding policy allows you to be in one other guild to either maintain connections or to allow you to participate in content that our guild simply can’t offer, but you would like to participate in.

In addition to this you can maintain a personal guild for banking and storage purposes.

Spazza, seems really tanky and no damage, do you use this specifically for holding points? I would imagine you focus on team aid and bunkering only with this, right?

A little less than a year ago I joined Remnants of Hope, and it has been the best gaming experience of my life. Since joining I have had the pleasure to serve as the PVE Officer, as well as the Recruitment Officer for the GW2 Division. I have met many wonderful people, and although I have not been as active as usual for the last 2 months or so, I always know I can visit the web-site or chat-rooms and keep up with what is happening in the guild.

The GW2 Division is great, with lots of friendly folks playing. There are usually events being run in prime-time hours and lots of late-night pick-up events too. I really can’t recommend the guild enough, if you are looking for a casual community with lots of great folks who get along and enjoy the game together, then you should really join.

Now is a perfect time to join the party. Get to know everyone and get all those dungeons completed prior to HOT.

We also have a very inviting approach when it comes to difficult content: many of our members are happy to bring along a “newbie” to dungeons or new content, but there’s no pressure for you to join events you aren’t interested in!

Blinds, Blinds, more blinds….Aegis, Shield of Wrath, blind, blind…..

Seriously though, Greatsword and Sword/Focus have a TON of damage mitigation skills, as long as you use them proactively instead of spamming them, and make use of your utilities, you should be taking very little damage. Also if you trait into Radiance and get Virtue is Blind and Renewed Justice you have AOE blinds that are spammable every time you kill an enemy.

Greatsword and Sword/Focus was the easiest for my when leveling due to the number of Blinds and the movement skills. Your mileage may vary.

We not only help guild members enjoy the PvE content of GW2 but to assist them in improving and advancing their characters and personal skills within the game. We are always willing to provide advice/guidance on gearing and traiting different professions. Keep in mind that we don’t have all the answers, but we will help find them! We hope to see you in-game and in our events soon! We do dungeons, fractals, guild missions weekly, jumping puzzles, casual levelling groups, farming runs and living story content.

PvP
We encourage fun and friendly competitive gaming to both the fans of PvP gaming, and those curious about it. We are always willing to lend a hand with builds, classes, and general information about how the various forms of PvP are handled. Whether it be World vs World, Team Player vs Player, or just some mini games, the PvP Department is always striving to be a welcoming, fun, and laid back place for people to smash in a face or two!

RP
We provide our members with an immersive and fun experience for the new roleplayer to the seasoned writer alike. Whether it be in-game or on the forums, we want to promote imagination and storytelling that spans beyond just the Remnants of Hope guild borders. By working closely with other guilds, as well as our other GW2 Departments within RoH and organizing events with them, we aim for a continuous living story that people can get involved in and help to continue shaping.

Playing GW2 Socially or Casually
Although we have members doing progression fractals and working on legendaries, we also have many members who play when they have time, or enjoy the simpler pleasures in GW2 like levelling slowly or going on random adventures. We also have a very inviting approach when it comes to difficult content: many of our members are happy to bring along a “newbie” to dungeons or new content, but there’s no pressure for you to join events you aren’t interested in!
