Would like to have my PvP build match my PvE/WvW build.
Honestly, every single profession forum QQs about their class. Get out there, play the class and ignore these forums for the most part.
Lol, as a Ranger that plays Tank/BM I’ll tell you that BM is still extremely viable. It may not be super OP, but no build should be.
I’ll defend the profession all I want as it has very few shortcomings thank you very much. At least from the way I play, I don’t feel hindered at all in my play, and have no trouble dishing out as much or more hurt than I take in any game mode I play. I won’t disagree that there’s a few things that could go better for us, but all in all the Ranger is a perfectly fine class to play. If you want me to back this up, I’ll post some vids of gameplay and some pics of my stats on my Ranger.
I think I see myself in that picture! kitten I shoulda waved!
Day 2: Ehmry Bay still doesn’t suspect the super secret Brolis Rock consipracy. Hopefully project brofist will be completed in time for this week’s fighting.
One a more serious note, doesn’t everyone like this matchup more than last week? I know I had fun taking stuff, even though I got my group wiped a few times, but you know that’s part of the game. And I can’t say how happy I am that our best friends came over for a visit this week! We have both Ehmry and Anvil with us, the party is complete!
Don’t know if there’s already a thread on this, I searched for one, but couldn’t find any.
So the basic idea is what’s stated in the title, any sort of warning for players in WvW for when a new patch is about to kick everyone out into LA. I really don’t think this is a hard thing to implement, of course I could be wrong, but I mean PvE gets one already, and the stuff people do in PvE requires way less resources than the stuff in WvW, like setting up siege, taking a tower or keep, or moving groups of people about. I can’t count the amount of times that I’ve been in the middle of a tower or keep cap and saw the patch warning pop up and run to the lord in vain to try and claim it quickly. So a simple warning of even 3 minutes would be really appreciated and would allow patches to be a bit less disruptive for everyone in WvW.
100% Ranger, I mean you just don’t mess with a guy that has a Grizzly bear or Wolf at his side. Plus being a master archer and survivalist means you’re really hard to chase or kill.
Well I’m going to derail your derail. :P
Favorite GW1 character: Prince Rurik, he had the guts to stand up to his father and get disowned so he could save at least some portion of his people and ensure that they’d have a chance to see tomorrow. Not to mention he kept on fighting and didn’t let rage consume him like his father, even though the Charr took his beloved Althea.
Don’t really remember especially hating anyone in GW1.
GW2 : Even though he’s not in the game, Snaff has to be the best character ever. He truly cares for his friends and Zojja, but also cracks some pretty great jokes at Zojja’s expense. Not to mention the fact that I can’t seem to remember him holding a grudge against anyone for any reason at all, he’s a pretty forgiving guy.
Least Favorite GW2: Zojja, hands down. We get that Snaff died, stop blaming everyone for it and driving Eir to almost commit suicide via Jormag’s followers.
I like to shoot for around 60, the movement is much smoother, and I don’t notice most of the stuff that I turn off anyway. But a good range for the future is anything lower than 30 becomes kinda unplayable, and anything over 60 your eyes can’t really track anyway so there’s no use.
As a fellow Borlis Pass player, I strongly recommend you play right after reset, we owned one side of EB shortly after the reset, and then the other since the reset. If you’re talking about the Borderlands, that’s going to most likely be waiting game on your part, which sucks, but there’s really not much that you can do.
Race- Human
Gender- Male
Class- Ranger
My armor looks great and has no clipping issues whatsoever, it’s just that the Divinty’s Reach Council Shoulderguards has a noticeably brighter gold than the rest of my armor. It’s the same exact dye, plain gold, as the rest of my armor, but as you can see in the screenshot, it’s a good deal brighter. Every other piece of armor is from WvW or Ascalonian Catacombs if that helps.
Here we go!
The first one’s from the beta, I can’t find any pics of my character before level 42 after the beta, but my beta char and current char are pretty much exactly the same.
Issue near the huntsman’s station in Lion’s Arch, you get radical color changes just by moving the camera to the left or right.
I’ve noticed a really annoying bug with the Greatsword, where it randomly goes completely or mostly invisible while normally using it. Sometimes swapping weapons fixes the problem, other times it doesn’t and I have to travel to a different zone for it to reappear.
Title says it all, I’ve used the name Laithes for pretty much anything that requires a fake name, ever since I started playing D&D 6 years ago and used it for my first character. I just don’t have a good last name to match, and would appreciate any suggestions.
Just outside each starting city, and near the bank in Lion’s Arch.
Standing next to the Huntsman Station in Lion’s Arch has a graphical glitch where the sand will drastically change color by shifting the camera angle a few degrees to the left or right.
