Just got back into the game and wanted to buy the outfit and it isnt there? was it removed permanently? if thats the case they should probably remove it from the outfit preview screen in character details? I loved that outfit please bring it back – remove one of the dumb hates instead! lol
I have come up with a way that can be added to the game to improve the way we change gear on our characters. Instead of it sitting and taking up bag space why not add a simple drop down Menu to each gear piece in “H” character inventory and store the armor there…..
For example…
If you click on the Helm part of your character a drop down menu will show you all the available gear that you purchased…stored in that menu that only visible if you click on it ….from there once u choose ur gear you can then choose the skin from the left column which already exists.
its really annoying to have all the gear sitting in my bags. May be this is something to consider.
you know what I really wanna see in GW2 …..this is sometime Archaeology type profession……going around finding artifacts….discovering lands and hidden places and then using them to craft unique items either buffs or skins or whatever else…Minion stones n such. This would really work with Gw2 sine the game is already soo expansive on the landscapes and hidden pathways as well as underwater… I find that treasure hunting is so much fun but the rewards i find in chests are minimal…..may be create something like a riddle where one object can lead you to another one and then another one unleashing something special…..a recipe or treasure that actually has something valuable in it.
Hi. i explored my map last 6 months ago i think. i was at 99% withOUT borderlands. so i thought that was the only thing left. i come back in the game i explore borderlands and it still says 99%.;…I explored Dry top and Silverblablabla area and still 99% the new POI in dry top dont count…
every map is 100% completed..wtf is going on and why isnt this fixed yet? please help me!

However:
i had a nice one last night, 7 votes for skyhammer, 2 for khylo, 1 for temple…. RNG chooser went with khylo.
GG anet, not even your own RNG function likes Skyhammer.

Shouldn’t happen… IMO if 80% of the votes are for 1 map, it should realistically ALWAYS be that map. Because odds are 4/5 players from each team voted for that one map and the other 2 are newbies, or trolling, AND EVEN IF THEY ARE NOT and legitimately like or want that map! The entire game shouldn’t have to suffer for the last 2 players 10-20% vote, to appease the one or two builds voting for a map they have a clear (and arguably unfair) advantage on.
The worst case scenario for the team getting the short end of the stick on a 80% vote would mean 3 players from the team still voted for the popular map. So I really believe 8/10 votes is the proper cut off point for a guaranteed map roll.
omg i had that soo many times is it a bug? I had once too skyhammer got 1-2 votes and roulette spinned and skyhammer won…i closed the game…sorry team..this happens with other maps..people vote and even tho one map has most voted the roulette picks another one…like whats the point of voting then if the system pick its own?
i thinkanet should have a data of total votes for ALL arenas and the low est map should be removed or adjusted or worked on…at least this way they will know which map sucks and no longer works…..let people vote and let anet collect the data
I’ve gotten a couple of skyhammer matches, now spirit watch I don’t see people vote that map that often, although I do find it fun. I never vote for temple foe fire or legacy, boring kitten maps.
well if u play the same kitten arena for 2 years now of course its gonna get boring..im bored too…Spirit watch is the most fun for Mesmer portalling..Skyhammer just sucks to me personally cuz 80% of deaths there are falling deaths..and 10% are people laughing at the falling deaths…
So the “bets” can only be entered by the competing players themselves? No outside spectator betting?

I have an idea based on what the players are doing on their own in pvp now.
Set up an official paid competitions. 3v3 2v2 1v1 where the player enters their gold to battle their opponent. upon winning or losing the winner gets the gold that was entered.
At the end of the match the system generates the moneys entered and distributes it to the winning team/person so that there is no 3rd party person involved.
Make rates reasonable so that people could do this on the on going basis. and add new maps for that.
Its fun competitive and a great way to earn extra cash for both serious players and novice……pairing will also be according to the players PVP experience or rank so that u don’t have a rank 10 duel vs rank 50 duel which would make it not so fair….and u dont want people to just take all ur money.

i loved Mimic..why the hell change that to an irrelevant skill….
how about bring back the OLD GW 1 mesmer all together…this is likea totally different class…not that I dont Love it but it docent feel like a Mesmer anymore..its more of a trickster or VEILER,….lost all essence of mesmer besides the skill names
what teh hell is the POINT of map vote if the system picks the map for itself anyway…many times I see a winning map get 4 out of 2 points and the system stil lpicks map with 2 pts????
I cannot stand Courtyard…its like ONE giant ZERG…so unnecessary and soo NOT GUILD WARS. Make this stupid arena a 2v2 match …..then it will be saved…..I would rather play Raid on Carpricorn over and over than get into this stupid arena…..there is no point to it its a giant manslaughter all pint up in corners..its not big enough for a full team and its definitely NOT fun. please make our pvp more challenging and enjoyable like AB in GW1……people r angry….we want 2v2 or 3v3 1v1 arenas with real rewards.!!!!!!!

I think arenas should be based on a rank..higher reward arenas with serious players could start at a certain rank while others can play and get nice rewards as well so there is NO kittening..im tired of getting ganged up by those whp pvp 24/7 just because I dont play as much doesnt make me a bad player but the abuse is ridiculous “u suk” “go die” i meant wtf is that? set up ranked teams please
I would really enjoy to see a revised version of the ‘Raid of the Capricorn’ map.
Except the annoying watercombat, this map was really fun to play and was compareable to ‘Battle of Khylo’.
Maybe it is possible to remove the Water completly or make it flat, so you can still walk while in water (compare beach @ ‘Forest of Niflhel’ or cave @ ‘Temple of the silent storm’).
Make the ship a wreck and balance the bottom of the sea, so that the old underwater note becomes the mid Point to fight for.
I with some changes this map could be tPvP viable aswell.greets,

hah great idea..they cannot make it too strong though cuz it will defeat the purpose of pvp but balanced nps will be cool
Another idea is to have prisoner IPC’s….So you will get to the certain point in game where ull have to free an elite NPS to help you in combat..or to repair the gates people have to break to get to the capture point.
So tired of the same old running around in circles. Remember the days of GW 1 when Ab never got boring?
Will we have this in the future?
I think we could have larger scale arenas where teams really have to strategize and interact with each other….also capture points could have defender NPCs that have skills and abilities..ELITES so to speak…you would have to kill them to capture the point and then they will help you defend it.
Lets make spvp more interactive and engaging.
So far there is barely any difference between the ARENA and reg pvp…same maps same capture points..
Anet should make ARENAS more challenging with different maps for serious pvpers….more advanced pvpers will have to strategize and actually think on the battle before starting up…rewards can be different too for these types of arenas.
I think we all wants to see the game grow and guild wars is known for its outstanding pvp…please bring it back. Why not make Gem rewards for ARENAs advanced pvp as well so that we could all have buy the things we need and in return anet can create as many skins as they want for us to experiment with.

Ok so straight to business…every single spvp game I join is out of whack….the score is either 30vs 350 or 450 vs 19…ot 90 vs 390…i mean this is ridiculous…u guys have got to come up with a way to balance the teams….i go through so many groups and even when the game starts at 0 – 0 somehow the scored get too high vs too low…no balance….this started happening especially a lot lately after the last upgrade…not sure whats wrong…but may be try and toss teams around if the score is too uneven…for example a computer system can detect a score that is way too uneven….and may be shuffle teams or something….there is nothing wrong with a game score being high and low but jeez not on EVERY game…this is nuts…I love s pvp plz fix this…
btw u guys could add may be 5 capture points to arenas? and may be put some guardians on capture points..for example if the team captures a point u get like a giant tree that heals awakened….or at the Mine u can get a warrior forager charr fight for u..something more interactive! it gets really boring to run around in circles when u have to pvp a lot…GW 1 had AB maps that were awesome why dont u bring some of that element in pvp here

Great boss..great patch..a little hard is good for this game..GW 1 had hard mode and it was awesome..Im glad we have such fun challenges where it actually makes the group THINK and work together- i want more of those mechanics based fights with great rewards!

OMG YES DUELS!
- Add target to target option (good for PvP and PvE).
- I want to see HP of mobs as numbers eq mob has 1987hp/1987 and also in %.
- Option to see own name and HP bar
- Option to customize own UI
- Max camera distance is to close to character
- End game content… a lot of people get bored already after they hit max lvl. We need RAIDS with strategy and not zerking another dragon.
- Lower ques to WvWvW, idk how but this problem is at the same lvl as late loading of characters on WvWvW.
- DUELS! I dont even understand why there is no duel option!!
- Inspect players!
- Preview build of another player
GW 1 titles idea was great but yes annoying due to grinding..grrrr…if they had titles here it would be totally different…Spacebar title is the one I want hahaha thats too funny!
I’ll tell u why people whine about hard stuff….World oF Warcraft gameplay spoils…mmmhmm….u laugh but that game became such a simple example of an mmo hat something a bit harder and OH NOOOO….This is why i loved GW1….it was challenging…skills builds hard mode..

i think we could use hard puzzles like that in GW2 BUT…….they should have separate achivements somehting like
“not so easy” or ‘Tough guy" because this way players will have an option to do them….so that the majority of those who dont like to do hard stuff doesn’t complain….Basically if u cant do it u dont have to HAVE the achievement. u hear me?

I totally agree GW 2 world is so beautiful there is soo much undiscovered land that can be used! The rest is up to NCsoft I am sure they can come up and elaborate on the idea more
Pardon me that I am not a master developer hardcore GW2 player online every day and i cannot word certain things correctly, however i have been playing GW since Prophesies came out and am stil deeply i love. I am very passionate about crafting/gathering and exploration in GW2. I think the game could really use more of the element of “discovery” hidden things, things unknown, unidentified -mystery. After all GW world is so big, you cannot help but think of a sunken ship with real treasure when you swim around in the depth of the ocean. So here is my little idea
This job is named Archaeology or whatever name ncsoft finds appropriate. Now it is NOT like World of Warcraft Archaeology. Thanks to GW2 innovative gameplay and vast gathering/crafting options this job is a different thing.
Player is given excavation, scientific and discovery tools upon selecting this job. There tools are used in certain Discoverable areas located all over the maps to detect hidden objects
Discoverable object categories:
Karma Bottles
Potions
Buffs
Small amount of gold
junk (yes players can sometimes not have any luck finding the goods, this will depend on the area on treasure spawn and it is RANDOM 2/10 chance or so)
RELICS AND ARTIFACTS
Yes the player may also discover pie e of important artifacts….
The artifacts are broken up onto 5 pieces.When those pieces see collected they can be merged together to form one rare artifact which is used to craft gear pieces according to artifact category until.
EXAMPLE
Ancient Relic of Tumbrac
you get 5 pieces of the relic locations of which can be discovered ONLY by digging.
Combine Ancient Relic of Tumbrac with Pile of Sand, Iron Bar, Chunk of Clay – you get -
Fearless Helm of Tumbrac
+67 Power
+48 Precision
+3% Critcal Damage
When the player has collected enough artifacts from the category to compose full armor set. Each set that is being exchanged ot crafted from a unique artifact is assigned according to the players level. It posesses stats according to the players level..this way players dont have to run around collecting artifact piece and getting the gear they cannot use.
EXCAVATION LOCATIONS
This is not complicated but does requires a deal of exploring because the digging areas are located EVERYWHERE, underwater, at the end of jumping puzzles and hard to reach areas and even the areas a player would normally NOT explore and are left unfounded…..and sometimes even in the backyard of Lion’s arch, spawn locations vary just like ore spawning in GW 2 and are customized for each player, just like other gatherings.
CRAFTING WEAPON SKINS
This profession also allows players to craft unique items and buff for the player to be used in game..and even WEAPON SKINS for those who are tired of seeing their fav sword in every player’s hands! .So when the player discovers and puts together a unique artifact that artifact 9 (by recipe) will reveal as a custom skin for their weapon.
Its like crafting dyes in Cooking job.
ARCHAEOLOGY EVENTS
Archaeology is so interactive it gives a chance for players to dig out a boss event upon digging…our of the ground the boss spawns as a worm or a different creature providing the player with experience of group play and dropping items..
PORTALS
Some dig sites are dangerous because of their history and can reveal a portal teleporting a player to the location of 10 bosses killing you with one blow! OOPS!
Ok i was kidding about that one, although you never know hehe May be NCSOF can come up with a better idea than me on portals, i love the jumping puzzle o the Gardens.
So as you can see this job has unlimited possibilities, id adds a certain “tomb raider” element to the game.
Multiple players can hunt treasure hunting unlocking new achievements bosses and collecting artifacts and treasure all over the world.
I suggest for the gear to be used according to profession a minimum of 5 sets of gear or weapon skins per class.
Let me know your thoughts and please understand that anything written in here is not DEFINITE and can be altered to the developers liking. This is why it’s an idea!
