I think I get what you mean – because medium have bum skirts on there chest armor and light have bum skirts on their leg armor?

I’ve noticed that if there’s is a conflict between chest armor and gloves that the gloves get cropped to make it work – I imagine that something similar would be introduced.

I think I like this idea because it solves some of those issues people (myself included) have with no pants for light and too many medium trench coats for medium

IIRC – TESO is another game that lets you wear any armor weight (although stats are included – which this post isnt about)

I would have some sympathy for this thread if it weren’t possible to get the rewards anymore, but since GW1 is still running, does have plenty of people playing it – including guilds and people who will help you; I have to disagree.

I never played GW1, my husband did and because of him I bought GW2, he played GW1 for years but didnt really tick a lot of the HoM boxes and so I think I only got up to around the 5th tier.

I spend a lot of time being a cry baby because I wanted some of the skins (specifically the dwayna gloves), and one day decided to do something about it – I bought the core game and all the expansions – it took me a few weeks, some kind donations from other players who had duplicate minis etc. but I now have all the items unlocked and I enjoyed myself while doing it – meeting all the legends like Jora was amazing and it made me appreciate more of GW2.

They will never make these items available by any other means, so I would suggest players who want them approach with some positively and earn them in the game that founded the game they enjoy so much.

I think its to do with the rewards – if your friend hadn’t unlocked the same or any of the rewards that the merchant sells (gives you for free) or the exclusive pets that live there then they would have access without having ‘done the work’ to get them.

I still preview this armor about once a month, have a little inside cry and live in hope

Since the OP’s edit clearly states were only discussing looks – Id be all for this. As mentioned Outfits mean that a light can run around in plate armor and vice versa. It’d open up so many more armor combinations for everyone – people will winge about clipping but this happens enough as it is when you mix armor sets and its just something you have to accept if you want to mix n match.

So I just got done watching a Smokescale, Jungle Boar, Veteran Bristleback, and Elite Chak Zapper fight eachother.

It got me thinking… maybe I should begin traveling around various zones in Tyria and capture various local wildlife fighting eachother in battles for survival. Go where no Tyrian has gone before.

I could make a series called “Tyria: UNTAMED”. Surely this is what the videogame world has been waiting for all this time.

As mentioned you can preview all dyes in your dye tabs even the ones you don’t own; this site may help you though; http://www.dragonsworn.net/dyes/ First dye that came to mind was Winter Ice, but it all depends on the material you’re dying too, just keep playing around

…. and I remember when 10g got you 100gems, theres always going to be inflation its natural. As more people join the game, or return to the game (like after a big spring patch as mentioned) and exchange the rate will go up. It will always peak when a bunch of new items are released and at the beginning of the month (after the majority of people are paid)

I don’t think they would invest the time into a ‘key chain’ (i would happily buy one too) – I imagine from Anet’s POV if you want all the keys on you all the time then you should upgrade your bags and/or buy more bag slots OR keep them in your bank and use an instant bank access whenever you need to draw a few out. Given that more bag slots, bank slots and the bank access items all cost gems its more gem sales for them. I think the simplest fix would be if they could get shoved in the wallet …….. remember when we had to carry around all our dungeon tokens too!

I’m in the same boat as you, about 15 lvl 80s and stacks of tomes of knowledge (as well as lvl 20 and 30 boosters). I’m hoping they’ll introduce a trade for the Tyrian tomes of Experience – maybe 5 for 1? Heck I’d even do 10 for 1 at this point.

They’ve also added RP to the LFG system too

I’ve also seen people mention this in chat when I did Maw recently – I’m also on EU Desolation – so it seems we do just have some local trolls, and the same as the times you’ve described they didn’t sound believable/ any substance in what they were saying so everyone ignored them.

1. More beards, makeup, face paint, tattoo options
2. More hats that aren’t hats and shoulders that aren’t shoulders e.g. bunny ears, wreath of co-operation, nightfury/auras etc.
3. Home instance customisation/decoration with dummies to display outfits/ armour that I don’t wear but is still nice to look at, trophies of events/bosses – claw of jormag, tequatl etc.
4. Capes! not bothered if they’re plain or guild ones – they’re fun to jump about in!

…..I’m still waiting to get my Tribal armor.

My husband & I are also stuck at this point. We both chose the ‘defend path’ – Female Norn Ranger & Male Asura Ranger.

Ive tried switching between 15 alts, guesting on another server, full relog, changed instance through LFG and in both the day and night with no joy.

still happening for me. I get the error message and get my gems about an hour later.

I get this same message every time I use paypal now. The first time I kept trying and ended up with 4000 gems hours later! Support arranged these all to be refunded.

But now it seems my only options are to pay via paypal and wait hours for my gems or use my credit card – which I dont want to do.

I hoped this was a blip that would be fixed buts its been going on for a months. Does anyone know what may be causing it?

Hi, Love this idea, I myself have organised events for the guild I’m in, as we’re quite small the in-game guild events can be a struggle.

The issue I have with this however is, it can take me a few hours to research an test an event. From what Ive read above and on your site; I work for hours to create something, give it to you for free and you profit from it. Surely genuine contributors should receive some sort of payment or, say, 3 free orders of other events.

Don’t get me wrong – Im all for community sharing, but since the site says the first order is free and subsequent orders require payment, I feel maybe some sort of reward/payment should be given for contribution.

Kudzu is mostly covered by hair whenever it is stowed, as is part of the capacitor. I have attached a preview of the Light of Dwayna as this is what I want to equip, however as you can see it is barely visible.

Personally Im all for Largos as the next playable race. I understand peoples love of Tengu from GW1. But Im not a fan of humanoid animals myself – I have 9 characters and not a Charr to be seen XD.

In regards to peoples points about Largos being assassins and only suited to being thieves; Norns are considered to be a brutish heavy handed race, however they can be mesmers, eles, etc. And Asuras known for their superior intellect and technology and still be a smashy smash warrior. And any class could “track, kill and bring proof”.

The wings/ fins could be customised size and pattern wise, and I would assume more discrete breathing masks could be “invented” for those who prefer to see more of their creations face.

Also I think having a couple of starting areas that were a high percentage underwater would be a fun idea and open up some new ideas, and could nicely integrate with bubbles or a bubbles champ being bought into the game.

On the whole I think Anet have a really creative team so even with a race and home environment we know little about, could be beautiful, interesting and different to the norm.

Don’t see what diff it makes whether the armour is skimpy or not. The character builds aren’t weirdly proportioned to look “sexier”.

Personally I buy gems every payday as a monthly treat and I’ve had a precursor drop and plenty of Exo’s. Just my personal experience. Do you see this variance in ppl with the same lvl of luck percentage?

I totally agree with you; If you read the whole thread the point is that if you don’t want to wear a coat this is your only option, and since we aren’t playing DOA Xtreme beach volleyball a boob tube and such shouldn’t be the answer.

I wish it would come with a free skirt or any skirt at all, or even short shorts, hell make it a belt version of shorts/skirt lmao. All i see is coats, coats and did I mention coats yet? Topped with hats that are way to big for anyone’s head…..

There is one skirt! if you get the medium viper armour with gems the bottoms are actually a skirt. And I agree about hats, as you can see I just have that hidden.

There is one more top I missed – my human thief has the T3 top with the underboob showing.

I want to be able to see my ranger and not have her look like she found some dudes clothes in the woods.

So, I thought Id post this just to gauge whether other people feel the same…

I struggle with my female ranger to find any tops which aren’t in coat form. I don’t want to look at a massive sheet of fabric when running about.

So I the same as a lot of others now wear “Aidens Coat”. And other than this the only other separate top I can think of is the “Krytan Jerkin” available from the gem store.

Personally I would like A-net to add more short tops to the Medium Armour selection. What do you think?

This skill point seems to be glitched, there are 2 ancient sharks swimming on the spot on the gound, when targetted they are friendly as such cannot gain skill point.
