Excellent. Now I have to have the so-called """expansion""" and be in a guild to have quick access to crafting stations if I don’t wanna port to and from LA every 20 minutes.
I used to WvW until HoT elite specs kitten d whatever half-hearted attempt at balance there used to be. Not that it’s not times easier in PvE too if you play an elite spec.
Guild Hall access is restricted to HoT owners. Now I can’t even use crafting stations like any PvE player once could. Not in WvW BLs, not even in EotM. Only in LA. Like a free player. Never mind that I paid for the full game. And spent money on gems on top of that. And didn’t have a full year to enjoy GW2 until HoT kittened it up. But kitten my money, eh? No WvW, no PvE, don’t even wanna think about the state of PvP. What is there for me to do in your stupid game anymore? All the work spent on HoT was obviously thinking of ways to screw players. And after all this, you expect me to pay you now for that pathetic Patch?

Let me be the first (hopefully not the only) one to say I’m sorry, I feel for you. If it’s any consolation, I’m not enjoying this game at all either. Although not for the same reason, I miss GW2 as well. I never cared for gear or the story, but the possible synergy between experienced players was awesome. As a somewhat newer player, I always respected the old school that made up the kind and helpful GW2 community that once was (in which I’d never count in the forum white knights!). So I, too, am interested to know what you would like to have added in this game, more specifically. Like new legendaries or a more powerful class of gear? Because personally, I’d have stuff removed. A lot of stuff.
Not that it’s up to the likes of you and me.

Dear voters. You get scammed by one company, move to another, maybe feel a slightly better treatment. You think a product (or a presidential candidate) being not as bad as another instantly makes it good? Have you considered you went too far in accepting getting screwed over as the industry standard? Actually, I like doing PvE almost as much as WvW. And I don’t even mind the grind, I don’t care for fat rewards; but I have my own annoyances with specific content being locked away for me. This kind of kitten-you attitude totally misses my wallet. You could argue that everyone complaining here represents our own minority, each fighting for our lost causes. But the fact is, this game now has something to kitten off everyone, as if deliberately. It became very unwelcoming, compared to before HoT (more accurately, before Jun 2015).

This is not for you, “white knights”, to prove us “wrong”. We do appreciate your time and effort, no doubt. Hell, if noble Sir Vayne was selling me something above, I would have bought it twice already. Agreed. But I think you fail to take into account that ANet listens to their Marketing department first (by now, God knows why), and to that new Tyler dude next (or somewhere along the line). ANet Marketing wants to sell HoT (duh). HoT was marketed with DBL as part of it. If they admit DBL is crap (which it is), they admit they failed to deliver another part of HoT (which already lacks too much). If they give at least one choice that doesn’t include DBL, they admit that there is an overwhelming majority of players that hate it that much. So they find themselves having to pretend that’s not the case.

Now when I play, I am not feeling enjoyment to get any more value for my money. It makes no sense for me to put more money into this game, that the developer decided to kitten up after I paid to show support. But I have not gotten the value for the money I already paid. So neither does it make sense to abandon the time and money I’ve invested, without having gotten the value for those. Do you understand what I’m saying? But do I have to prove anything here from a financial standpoint? Did I make a claim about that? I only said “I honestly believe”, while discussing your suggestion about isolating non-expansion players on “legacy servers”. Do you think there’s a chance that could happen? Perhaps speak to ANet on our behalf? They sure don’t listen to us. Maybe they’ll listen to you.

We are saying the advantage is unfair. If you think it’s not unfair, then once again, why are these so-called “elite” specializations not available to everyone? Do you think it is very difficult to put in some bigger numbers, bullkitten letters, and draw new class icons? Do you think this justifies paying anything at all, let alone $50? Especially for us that already bought the core game? (and some of us supported it further than that)

The elite specializations are cheap. No great effort went into tweaking some numbers and drawing class icons. They are uninspired, they are not new, they are not interesting. Cheap is all they are. If they are not OP, if they are not unfair, then why aren’t they made readily available to all players yet? Game is pay-to-win, that’s why. Even grinding for them is pointless. The longer this goes on, the longer we won’t pay after it’s fixed.

Some argue that ANet deserve to eat. Do they? I would never have guessed. Especially since they totally screwed my game after I was already paying them. So you have to make up your mind. I give you money, you kitten up the game. I don’t give you money, you don’t kitten up the game more; yet, you ask for more money. This is confusing.

You think just because you prefer a large and complex map over a small and simple one, that makes you smart? If you really are smart, do you honestly believe your opinion here is more important than mine? Do you think ANet care about how smart you and I are (baboon)? They care about getting easy money from weak-minded or good-natured people… that buy HoT. If you bought HoT, then they have nothing else to gain from you at this time.
I didn’t buy HoT, however, and the Desert map for WvW was just one of the reasons. So they are after my wallet right now. And I say, don’t bring back the Desert Borderland (not as WvW anyway). Ever.

Many kids nowadays. Some don’t know what CC is, others don’t give a kitten about why they should use it. And yet, somewhere in there, a myth from the old GW2 days survives that CC should NAAT be used on some bosses… Becoz, let’s be honest, kitten the wiki.

2 Alpine and 1 Alpine. No Desert. Desert is not for WvW. It is for WvNothing. Or PvE.
How many times must I post this kitten? No compromise, no rotation, no “one map this, another map that”. Only Alpine. <3

The fact that BlD lovers are excited by “bigger” and “longer” don’t give your opinion more weight. ^^

Anyone who honestly believes they are a WvW player will play Alpine and like it.
