I agree, although I’m a bit stumped to come up with a crucial or heartbreaking or intense moment in the personal story.

There was a nice moment in the living story, but the other ones? Not really.

I was mainly referring to “Prisoners of the Dragon” (the HOTS storyline episode) at the end. Don’t want to give away spoilers though.

I love my Mesmer, even though they have a massive ego and like to boast. They can outrun a centaur! after all. But I really don’t want to hear them yelling it at a crucial, intense, heart breaking moment in a personal story. It’s inappropriate and totally immersion breaking. Please remove these voiceovers from personal story instances.

Juggernaut Tier 1

I’m having trouble with pondering the statue of an Ascalonian hero in the Urban Battlefields Fractal (the one with the charr). I’m in the courtyard you break into and stand in front of the biggest statue there and ponder it before it is blown up (I can’t target it). I’ve tried this twice, but doesn’t seem to work. Any ideas?

I’ve found that since using the 64-bit client, I crash less frequently, but I am starting to suffer from severe lag. Was playing for about an hour last night in Tangled Depths and lagged out, game just froze. Today, logged on for 20 mins, just standing around in LA, major lag again.

I’m noticing severe lag today, especially in Verdant Brink.

Regarding Sunrise. I’ve defended/freed the Quaggan in Caledon Forest from the Krait Slavers, but the item doesn’t register in legendary collection. And yes, there is a lot of waiting about for some of them.

Hello Fellow Players;

After going through several threads and have couple of reverts from the Technical team over a OOM Crash ticket, there are a few things that comes up:

1. The game is now almost unplayable at 32-bit system and the players need to upgrade to a 64-bit system if they wish to continue playing as the new patches won’t let users play smoothly in a 32-bit system

2. If the streaming is going on, it can lead to crashes

Hence I wish to ask players two questions:

Q1. Are there any players who are playing in 64-bit system and also experiencing similar OOM crashes?

Q2. Are there players whose game is completely downloaded and they still experience similar OOM crashes?

Q1 – I am experiencing frequent crashes since HOTs was launched. – Windows 10 Home edition. Processor Intel® Core™ is CPU 650 @ 3.20 GHz. Ram 6.00 GB. 64 bit operating system x 64 based processor. NVIDIA GeForce GT340.

Q2 – My game crashes even though it is completely downloaded.

I am based in London and I find that I crash more frequently after 6.00pm. (Not sure that this means much, but trying to be a bit more specific about my crash experiences). Crashes happen for me mainly in the new HOTS maps when doing meta events and also in my personal story instances. One crash was in Lions Arch.

Hope this helps add to the crash “picture scenario”.

I have the Halloween Bull shoulders on my light wearing Necro. Might have another look at the heavy version.

It wasn’t so much that I wanted my guardian to look like she is wearing medium armour, but being a Dragon Hunter, I liked that the Krytan armour looks as though you are wearing the trophies from your kills. Will take a look at Braham’s.

Will check out the guardian screenshot thread also to see if anyone comes up with a version.

Dear Arenanet, this is my ranger wearing the Krytan Medium Armour skins from the store.

I would so love to be able to use this on my Dragon Hunter Guardian, I think it would match our Dragon Bow, but alas its incompatible for our profession. Any chance of making some heavy armour skins similar to this available on the store? Pretty please

Oh for the love of biscuits! I was in a personal story instance, when I get the “a serious error has occurred” message and get kicked from the game. Had to reboot my pc, as I couldn’t clear it.

I am not attempting raiding until this increasingly annoying problem is sorted out.

I have problems Kornfanxx with Inquest dropping the boots items. Been farming about 2 hrs this morning in Metrica Province, Brisban and around COE. No drops.

I am having the same problem with Mistward boots lining dropping from Inquest enemies. This morning, I’ve been farming in Metrica Province, Brisban Wilds and around The Crucible of Eternity, but not a sausage.

I’ve tried JediYoda’s suggestion (thanks for posting), but didn’t work for me also. Another one of these connection error messages this afternoon when I was in Fields of Ruin at a waypoint. Sighs

Having an issue with “Torn from the sky” personal story instance. Cannot find any parts to salvage from the wreckage, even though I am in the “green circle” area.

I am having the exact same problem, which started around 7th October 2015. Once I was in a dungeon, another time was in a personal story episode and another in a Fractal. Happened to me again today, but not in an instance, but in Lions Arch. I’m on an EU server and not with EE, but BT.

I find this very annoying too. I’ve used the option to turn particle effects down and its liveable in most big fights, but with the raid in HOTS, it was really difficult to see what was going on with the Vale Guardian, talk about add pressure lol

Totally agree with everything being said here regarding the difficulty of open world mobs being tuned down. BWE1/2 was challenging and sometimes difficult, but it made it extremely fun! Please tune the mobs back up before launch. I know of one person who was undecided about HOTS, so watched a livestream of BWE3 and decided not to buy it because they found it too easy and not what had been promised by Arenanet.

I don’t understand the points system on Stronghold. Myself and my party member played stronghold for 2 hrs solid. We carried out all the objectives in the game, i.e get supply, use doorbreakers, guards, protect them as they go to the oppositions keep, spawn your champions to help, get through to the enemies keep, fight off the enemies team on the way etc. Numerous times, my party member and I were the only ones to kill the enemies lord and win the match for our team, but nearly all the time we were like 3rd and 4th on points. I feel like we did a heck of a lot to win the game, but those peeps who just duelled each other in the middle of the map and did nothing else, got the most points.

Depends where u saved it too. Uninstall program from control panel will only work if u saved it to the default folder when installing the game.

I have BT unlimited broadband and am experiencing the same problems discussed in this thread. The game is unplayable for me.

Have been waiting for an answer to this one too. Total nuisance having to store them, when they should go into the collectible section.

The FOV feature is great, but even more wonderful is the increased zoom out distance from doing the Mad King Dungeon. As a ranger in wvwvw, it makes a huge difference, especially when taking keeps, as I can see the top of the ramparts and see if I’m standing in any red circles. I beg you Arenanet, for the sake of all Tyria, keep this fantastic zoom development!

Update. I took some forum advice and did not talk to Treharne at all. I was then able to get the Avatar of the Pale Tree to respond and sucessfully completed the instance.

I did the instance this afternoon and I had the exact same problem as the original poster. I spent 10 mins searching the forums and reading to see if it was bugged. I took Eamil’s advice and swam out to the Warmonger ship and used my own weapons to sink it and was then able to progress the story. I really think this could be a great storyline instance, but having to stop halfway through and scan the internet for solution to a bug spoilt it somewhat for me
