The spawn location of the arrow projectile is a result of latency compensation. The more latency you have, and the faster the arrows travel (much faster now than before), the further away the arrow will appear. It could theoretically be fixed, but it’s just a visual artifact, and the fix would likely be quite extensive. All projectiles in the game work this way.
Okay , thank you for your answer
Hi dear players and Dev,
I just made a quick photoshop of two ideas that I would like to share with you.
First of all , are my eyes not fast enough ? As you can see in the first picture, when the Ranger fires an arrow, the coordinates of the projectile starts way too far of the bow. If I remember correctly, the position of the arrow changed with the patch that added the velocity to the longbow skills.
Secondly, I would love to see the character hold an arrow just before shooting like in GW 1.
Thanks for you time
I woudn’t be surprised if vines attacked the Wizard’s castle in a near future O_o
IIR, It has been destroyed when Scarlet attacked LA, no ?
Just do what you like in the game. If you want to craft, craft , if you want to explore maps and complete hearts, just go ahead.
Crafting for end game is for Ascended gear , overall little better quality gear than exotic wich you can use at level 80 but it is a gold sink. I suggest you to save karma so at level 80, you can buy exotic gear from Cathedrals in the maps of Orr. cost around 250k karma for 6 pieces.
I think playing a MMO at your own pace is the right thing to do because you feel too much like “I missed some content” if you rush to the end levels.
The vision , you mean the one in Omadd’s machine ?
Your backstab evasion is something rangers who struggle with roaming need to learn.
Thanks.
Hey Donee, did you play Aion ?
Yes, i did play Aion.
Then, you should remember me… Elosya.. ranger..

Well, there is Preservation, Aggression, Denial, Destruction and yet…
no one thought about The Force.
Oh please, put this amazing skin on the shop, I will be the first to buy it !!! even if its 800 gems.
Thanks!
I can’t remember what was there before Lion’s Arch was attacked.. but now, it is shielded with some sort of asuran magic.
It’s tied to the priory personal story, it’s an asuras house who at the time was working on a defense system for her house, the one she had when we visited was a sort of stasis that out her and the attacker in a frozen in time state, however I think that was due to her being attacked before she could get it fully up and running.
Alright , thanks

Pretty neat. Really shows how things changed. Some spelling mistakes, like “wich” instead of “which”, not sure if you care though, lol. Are there other areas you could add in a second set of screens?
Oh thanks for the hint ^^
I’ll try to work on this.
Hi Guys
If you are a fan of Guild Wars series, I suggest you to check the assembly of past/present areas of Guild Wars 1 and Guild Wars 2 that I made.
Feel free you add screenshots !
EDIT: sorry of mistakes, I do my best
If you watch carefully when she first begins fighting, you can actually see her drop into Scruffy like a battle suit.
Steel Cavalry ???!
We don’t have to worry about her trying to summon captain planet because there is NO way she is getting heart…
Wasn’t there something in the Twilight Assault update called the clock heart?
Yes, the big mechanical Oakheart If I recall?

abbadon confirmed !? ^^
For the billonth time, Abbadon is DEAD
You have free content every 2 weeks.
I just finished Sea of Sorrows and I really wanted to go in-game and see this the
wreckage of the Pride and the undead Leviathan
but you can’t go back on Claw Island after the campaign quests are done. Anybody out here have some good SS to share ?
thanks!
Should I remove 5 pts( the 2 sec protection roll from WS) and add them to my 20 pts in skirm? What do you think? I play mostly in PvE.
Konig, I really don’t know where you’ve learned all this Lore but I can tell you that I’m pleased to read every single posts you wrote down. I love the deep-rich Lore of games and I enjoy reading constructive theories about those “unsolved mysteries” we’re talking about. And this also applies for all the others Lore posters that share their thoughts in this part of the Forum. Thank you for your good read!
ha! I thank you
I would like to know the maths behind those stats
How damage reduction and attack is calculated when you receive income damage and when you hit a creature or a player?
Lets say 2700 armor and 3200 attack
Any clues?
Oh I see, I was totally outside the track
While I think this build could work very well, I prefer to invest my traits in Nature Magic for more vit . I really love the trait Nature’s Protection , it’s useful in dungeons like FoTM at higher level. But for now , I’m trying 30/30/10 wich I dislike at some part with the lack of survivability.
I stand at
Health 17916
Armor 2118
Power 2292
Crit % 43
Damage on crit.. I’m not quite sure.. 2.3 you mean 2.3X the damage on crit ?
Can somebody tell me what is an opportunity attack ? A free white attack ? an attack with less casting time ? I dont see anything when I interrupt a foe with the knockback skill on LB.
thanks!
Well, as for me, I prefer having more vit/power when it comes to use my GS or LB ( I use GS and LB in PvE). So I think investing in the Nature Magic branch is more appropriate and you get a good vitality pool from it . I asked a lot of people between toughness and vitality for ranger and most of them told me vit. It really depends on how you like it because they are both good in either way.
Where is that place? ^^
Very interesting research; reading about the ED theories is my favorite part of Lore.
10/10!
Could Sohothin damage Jormag's tooth considering its great legendary powers like the Foefire back in 1090 AE ?
So I’m currently reading Edge of Destiny. I just read the pages when Eir took her chance versus the Fang of the Serpent in Hoelbrak but she wasunable to damage the tooth of Jormag.
Quote:
She swung her arm at the fang, but before she could strike it , fingers had become claws[…]Claws rasped across it but left no mark[…]the fang stood, inviolate[…]no harm came to the Fang of the Dragon.
and then:
Rytlock stepped up, pulling Sohothin free. " Let me have a shot at that thing"
But Eir did not let him.
