If you played SPvP or WvW, you’d see that Rangers are one of the most dangerous classes out there. Longbow your HP down, and when you get close, Greatsword swap, and it’s over.

The fights can be fun, but they are essencially frustrating for this one class that relies on low HP, slow hitting AI – Mesmer.

We had the issues with Hidden Arcana where the illusions wouldn’t hit the bosses in Glint lair because they blew up on summoning.
This exact same issue happens with this chapter. The fights are challenging BUT there is no fun in killing the boss with autoattacks.

Issues

• Mesmer looses potential 60%+ of his damage
• No other class suffers from this
• There’s so much AoE that phantasms barely live (Predator fight) or the boss hits so frequently and randomly that their survival is tied to RNG (Trasher).

This is frustrating and unfair. My solutions? Give phantasms possible immunity (not that Duelist trait line crap doing nonthing anyways) to aoe, or even damage reduction? Start to design fights FOR EVERY CLASS WITHOUT LEAVING ONE OUT (its the case for necros on trasher too afaik, DS specs at least).

Did not understand what you mean by that I play mesmer and got all the achievements so far and the fact that no class but who is controlling the mesmer class and for me the best class for the achievements , beats melee , long Range , is invisible , has clones to confuse enemies , stability etc , for the low hp you can make a retrait the build , as I already said before the fact and not the class , but who runs the class .

Until now I did not understand people complaining about arcane hiddem and the easiest fight of achiv . between the light beam goes near the boss hit auto attack for what it hard ?

Instead of nerfing irrationally, can’t you bring a profession inline with others, so that each can be effective in its own way? Can someone please explain to me the point of nerfing mesmer so much? Is there some overpowered exploit with mesmers I’m not seeing?

For the love of God, stop nerfing mesmers. Anyone complaining about mesmers being overpowered has to have trouble targeting, or something.

TL;DR: Other professions get skill facts and scaling, and mesmers get nerfed because of reasons.

So to say that a bug fix right now and a nerf? sorry friend I play mesmer since the beta test and this update does not change anything for me, hardly anyone gets me in spvp 1×1 and I use sword, sorry but you can not play with another class look that suits you best

I’m not even certain why he was buffed to begin with, it was a perfectly fine boss event until he got the god overbuff. Now hes pretty much pointless to try and kill, and more and more people are resolving to not even attempt the event anymore. Somehow I don’t think that’s what you guys had in mind when you have him that overbuff. He does massive damage (which is alright) but takes pretty much no damage from anything. The damage this guy takes needs to be increased by a substantial amount.
