Yep, no Kit, even thou patch notes state otherwise.
EDIT: Only Hair Kit. No Make-Over.
Bug, there is no Total Make-Over kits in Gemstore. My history even don’t show them.
No, it’s not better to leave it as it is.
The event is not faster, because some scrubs shoot dragon when he is Not Invulnable. The Claw event is always taking so long, because instead of protecting golems (or using bombs at shield also), peeps just sit and shoot him dealing him insanely low damage.
ANet stated some time ago they won’t implement race change to GW2.
Hello there,
I was just banned 72 hours for an unacceptable name. My name was “Nuglet” and I’m not sure how this is offensive in any way. In any case, I’ll rename my character if I must, but I feel that 72 hours is a little bit excessive given I’ve never had any previous problems playing on this account.
Would appreciate if any insight could be given into my situation. Thanks!
edit: I was able to log in about 30 minutes after my ban. Was forced to rename so I chose Lokk, but miss my old name
Well, your name is apparently a synonym for… dump.
I lol’d. I have absolutly no problems with running JP’s and Vistas with both norns and charrs (and I always make the highest ones). It’s a matter of skill. :P
Those are prestige armors, it’s natural they’re expensive.
Oh, so there WERE such topic already. Cool!
/signed.
We need custom chat channels, really. Please. It’s common thing.
No love for custom chat channels?
As in the topic, will we get those? Custom Channels would be great addon, really. It’s pretty much natural in mmo games these day.
Chatting with friends that are in diffrent areas, alliance guild channel or just simple Talky-talk channel for casual discussions with other players. Give a little thinking to these, In my opinion, that would really have a good impact on the community.
found another example while running up to the Secluded Glen in Fields of Ruin I saw a male Norn NPC standing near, he must be an uncommon spawn as I have never seen him there before.
I talked to him and he just gives more Lore on the sylvari Kirran (sp?) who is buried there… and he confesses that he visits the grave often and even though “she was born of the night cycle, she was the brightest light in my life” ….
What also was interesting is after a minute or so, he walks up to the back of the glen and fades into the rock wall there…..
Nothing unusual.
It was more father/daughter relationship.
And Killeen, not Kirran… and That Was Gullik Oddson. Those are characters from Ghosts of Ascalon book. Read the book and you will know what was beetwen those two.
Using search you can find one of other 357 mounts topics and post there.
People don’t think about such things.
And no to monts, again. Waypoints.
GW 2 is diffrent game, not like the other mmos.
Besides, we can jump, why mount? XD
Near Maladar’s Inlet it is.
So, bots are still a major issue.
Lookie here. Screenshot taken 30 minutes ago at Frostgorge Sound at Far Shiverpeaks server.
I had to blur the names, because it’s against CoC that players will know names of the boters. Funny, eh?
Where’s my torch? And pitchfork?
Dont really want to judge other peoples names but I’m going to make a Charr thief named Charrtemis Entreri
Call the other one Charrmander…
Ekhm.
Anyway. For Maula Rageclaw I have 9/10, just because Maula sound funny in my head.xd
There is a Jumping Puzzle Chest with those already in the game.
Late For Tea +1
Everything you said is wise and true.
I know, some people “solo” mmos… but, that’s not a reason to implement those. Inbalance. We don’t need it. Finding a PUG is easy pancake with http://gw2lfg.com/ and if no, play with friends or find a guild. Meet people, don’t separate yourself from them by soloing everything.
I think there are more female gamers that like those exposing concepts than you would think. XD But that’s purerly my opinion and my friends view (yesp, girls too).
So yeah, they appeal to males and females (no, not talking about lessy bee yans), But.. there could be more armors that are more cough realistic cough. Yeah.
And it’s legit.
Unfortunately I would not hold my breath, they did not include it on purpose to keep the major NPCs unique. The exceptions are I think Zojja and MAYBE Rytlock.
Nope, all are unique.
Thanks god. We don’t need theit clones running around. XD
And well, Caithe’s face? Some like it, I hate it – IMO she’s alien and ugly. XD
So stop using this excuse also….and for you trolls telling the guy that every game has a cape is a stupid statement….just lay off you negative nancys everyone has used the WELL EVERYONE HAS THIS OR THAT excuse in their life time, silly trolls.
Pretty harsh to call me a troll.
If your statement is true, you’re a should be called a troll too, ’cause you want capes just because you want.
I don’t want capes, because they would look ugly on most armors, In My Opinion.
It’s hard to decipher what you wrote, but you seem to have some pretension of me saying that argument “All games have it, we should to!” is stupid. Maybe I was too harsh, but still it’s really naive argument. I was mererly saying, that not every, let’s precise, Fantasy MMO has capes.
(edited by Marcusdeblack.2307)
Where did I saw that?
Ah, everywhere. TOR nad other blabbers.
No. Please no.
And let’s be honest, GW2 Thiefs ARE Assasins. It’s just not so goody name for a hero. We’re heroes. Yep. Hero Assasin? Nope. Hero Thief? Yep.
Thief IS Assasin.

Guys. One word. Clipping.
Two more. A LOT.
Capes won’t be compatible with most of the armors in the game. Cape on Heavy Orr Armor? It already have a cape-like raggs. Come, on. I would look awful. You all know it.
And No, not every game has capes. That’s just stupid statement.
Maybe consider it this way. Most animals never mate with anything outside of their own species and in most cases not even within the different branches of the same species. It is not a choice or concious… they just… dont.
Fantasy world. :P
Ask classic elves and humans. How was Half-elves born? :PHaha, wow. That line may have been taken slightly out of context. I think it would be hard to fall in love with a sylvari for the other races. They don’t really have some of the needed equipment the other races have, if you catch my drift.
Not quite right I say.
Romance and sex is practiced among the sylvari, disregarding gender between those involved.
So you know.
It Can happen.
Men and Elves are both made out of meat.
Men and Sylvari are made out of meat and vegetables.
The thought of a meat/vegetable hybrid running around reminds me of that “Kill me…!”-scene out of the Aliens movie.
I was not inclining that they could have kids, just that they can feel strong emotions/love/lust toward each other.

My Impression is, that the woman on the art is not necessary a Svanir. Come on. It can be a player character or some other Corrupted person. Don’t dig too deep into that.
If flamethrower were working right, it would be godly with the Elixir-Might Trait.
7 stack of might when wearing Flamethrower (all the time) + bonuses from elixirs. Might goes up a lot.
In Ghost of Ascalon, Ember have line about relationships of charrs.
“(…). Charr relationships have all that stage of drama as well. We on occasion mate for a life, though our relationships are usually more casual, and we have more than our share of jealousies, rivalries, expectations and disappointments.
Lovers come together, break apart, and come together years later.(…)”
ANet don’t ban me for quoting this. XD Please. I just want to help.
I think there are a few possible reasons.
2. Some GW1 players may still bear grudges. Yes, we’re not playing Flame Legion – but they might still recoil at the thought of playing their old enemy race.
Seriously? XD Ahahahahah. Come, ON!
I play charr, I enjoy it, but I would never roll a Female Charr – zero feminity, wears male armors, etc <- But yeah, Fem Charrs have some cool faces.
Does Anyone Else Think That Warband Member in Personal Story Are...
in Charr
Posted by: Marcusdeblack.2307
Would be cool if charr elite ‘Warband support’ called Clawspur to fight with me, hehe
THAT! I was thinking the same. It would be a great idea.
But you know, NPC’s are only to “Be”, we are the heroes. They shouldn’t steal our glory (Like The-One-We-All-Know).
Why they should? Majority of player, Don’t want them, ever.
No mounts, please. Not in GW. Please.
Servers? Or maybe YOUR server?
It smells more like D&D than GW.
Solo gamer. Hmm.
I know GW1 was solo oriented, but guys… GW2 risen to a MMO game, finaly. Get social. Play with others.
I enjoy most of PUG runs in dungeons. People are socialable, joke a lot, try to help etc. Not always, there is always a jerk-friday sometimes, but you know… playing with others is not that bad.
Nope. I believe they stated during developement that they were thinking of a henchie system, but decided against it after much though.
Thank god.
GW1 was more single player game, GW2 is more MMO. We have to deal with it and enjoy it. I know it will sound harsh, but… make some friends guys.
This is how Dueling in an Open World MMO usually looks like if one person doesn’t want to duel:
IpWnU: “Hey Marvin, you and me, here, now!” requests duel
Marvin: declines request “Na man, I don’t like dueling”
IpWnU: “Come on, you’ve got dual legendaries and are rank X in Y, what have you got to fear?” requests again
Marvin: “Dude, I said no. Go bother somebody else.” declines request again
IpWnU: “What, you’re afraid? Can’t back your title up with skill?” requests again
Marvin: "Jesus Christ, ST?U man and go to the PvP lobby. enables auto decline duels
IpWnU: spams duel a few times, realizes Marvin’s on auto decline Hahaha, what a ?ussy! Can’t deal with playing the game seriously, right Marvin? proceeds to ridicule Marvin in all/map chat
Marvin: puts IpWnU on ignore and leaves the area
Everybody else around: hopes IpWnU will leave, tooThis happens in every MMO where open world dueling is allowed. And the most harmful aspect of it isn’t that Marvin got bullied off the map by that guy, it’s the fact that a lot of people witnessed it. People like IpWnU set examples like that, and the inhibition threshold for other players like IpWnU sinks to a point where they don’t feel bad either for being aggressive and do as IpWnU does. More players argue and fight in chat about ego, being afraid of one another, you know, all that mindless waste of character space narcissistic, mentally 12 year old individuals with a god complex can produce, turning your PvE environment, which in ANets case is all about cooperation, it into a hostile environment for players that don’t want anything to do with fighting each other.
For your average, and by average I mean immature, PvPer, saying “no” to a request is a sign of defiance. Everything involving other players is a competition for these kinds of players, and another player having the audacity to not grant him his wish to own their behinds is a form of resistance that must be broken. They want to dominate you. So they try and provoke you to get what they want, which pretty much never works. How this scenario plays out I’ve already written down for you. Ignoring them is like ignoring bullies in high school – they get aggressive and force a reaction of you.
Implementing dueling at all is risky because it opens up the door to becoming a tool for some of the most annoying and reprehensible human behavior anonymous virtual environments can catalyze.
In GW1, dueling trash talk was basically contained to one area of the game, one outpost that was what the Heart of the Mists is now. A lobby where all kinds of players(mostly PvPers) gathered to talk, discuss and trade. There was no title for dueling, it wasn’t a dedicated feature, it wasn’t encouraged at all by ANet. But you could do it. You could be invited to someone’s guild hall, enter a skirmish match with them and ignore the objectives. If the same thing happens in GW2, I won’t be worried at all. Even if they decide to add a dueling as a context menu entry of player interactions to automatically get transported to an empty locked map: as long as it’s contained to the PvP lobby I don’t see it becoming a problem. But I trust ANet that they won’t encourage dueling or poison the PvE world with all of the trash talk that comes with it.
Yes, people are jerks.
But I don’t buy it. This situation you described is not so common. Really. More common are jerks that leave PUG team at dungeon, because the teammates are too slow (in his maniac opinion). Really, that makes me mad a lot more. Or dungeon “so-called-pros” that ridicule players that run it for the first time.
People are jerks.
But argument that people will spam duel invites is… silly. It’s invalid argument. In CO I ever got that situation. In DCUO also.
Have some faith in our comunity. Really. Does GW2 community is really that toxic? Jerks, yeah, but ego bully buffoons? Nah.
(edited by Marcusdeblack.2307)
We only need new animation, so for example Engineers Poison Dart Volley would allow you to shot from both guns when equiped.
Why not make tonics avaible at Gemstore?
But seriously, that’s their business. Pretty common thing in MMO’s, I mean.. random real cash paid bags/boxes.;)
I agree. A dueling system would allow us to have a lot of fun. Not only that but it would be a good way to practice pvping with your friends. .
Dueling is a great idea. And I think they think about it.
It’s a great feature and new path for Achievements! And titles! And fun! And practice! And Fun!
But no to New Trading System. Big no.
I smell CO. And i like it.
Costume Contests!
-1
No and no. It’s not good idea. Not in GW. Really. Please.
Guild Island? – Love it.
GW2 is not made for players into housing. They’re made for playing into MMORPG content – Exploration, Dungeon-crawling, Crafting, etc..
Your opinion.
I do those things, and I want a house instance for my chars.
I give Medex the Old 4.
Not so charr in my opinion, more like some old hermit or sage.
Growl Ironfang. Engineer.
and also be able to look at other players in the game without having to fiddle with the camera all the time.
YES! Nightmares…
It doesn’t work like that Ronah.
Players just to want to enjoy game at their own pace.
I do maybe one dungeon daily (with all paths), but it’s really maybe.
And yeah, I once got something cool from Koehler – an Exotic Sword, after this it never occurred to me again. Nope. No Exos, no rares.. Ever.
(edited by Marcusdeblack.2307)
They said Legendaries will be Account bound in near future. Funny, eh?
It is their tactics fighting with bots. But we all know it’s flawed. Very flawed. Instead of punishing bots, every player is punished.
