I started again to farm the shrooms. At least 3 shrooms every day since about two months: 1 or 2 exotic drops, nothing special. Must be now about 2,000 shrooms without drop in total. I hope to see other ways to obtain these skins in PoF. If not, I refuse to spend any more time with this crap. So when the time comes, I will buy 2 pairs and end this 2 years ongoing nightmare.

I like the idea of having core skills updated by a new specialization. So you have two trait lines with buffs for these skills/builds.

Engineer: Inventions + new specialization = Turreter
Necromancer: Death Magic + new specialization = Minion Master
Guardian: Zeal + new specialization = Zealot
…

Did something unusual happened? Only silver or bronze reward? Opened Chests while or before fighting the shroom? Killed many Mobs around the Shroom? Auto loot active? Full Inventory? Other Players around? Something else?

Ignoring the matter won’t help and won’t attract any attention, folks.

As topic says: I will move to another apartment soon. Unfortunately there is only DLS 6,000 there (developing country Germany …). Question is: Will I be able to play?

Guild Wars Nightfall introduced us to “Treasures”. At spefic locations in the game players could loot a burried treasure, a grave chamber or something similar (sometimes locked behind some Grave Guards). The loot was not huge, comparable to 50 silver and a rare weapon-/armorpiece. Also, when looted, the it took about a month to dig out another treasure.

We kinda have something similar in Guild Wars 2 (locked doors in Dredgehount Cliffs), but it feels different (you need a key and the loot is bad). But I really like the idea of having treasure chests we can hunt, maybe accidentally running in a location changing and rewarding loot box.

Opinions?

Atleast: Current Buyers price gradually sinks to 2,000 gold. Good trend, but nobody knows what happens when PoF is out and nobody gives a kitten about the shrooms.

16 stacks here, no energy absorbed, one big burn but no achievement. 7 or 8 tries meanwhile.

2 weeks ago, someone in Dragon’s Stand posted a Boot Box. It was the very first time I even saw someone obtaining this thing. Also, the player even did not know, how valuable this thing is, so it was one of the first shrooms he ever killed.

Killed more than 2000 shrooms by now (still no drop), and this ugly thing is quite the opposite I wanted to see.

It is not just the ingame money. I did a google search for “Invisible Boots” a few days ago and ended allready on the second page on some illegal trading websites. Over 200 € (about 230 USD) for the item. Seems lucrative, as long as the ingame price keeps that high of course …

I remember a old Story from Guild Wars 1. Crystalline Swords were a very expensive object (even if the skin was … meh). It was, because these swords droped rarely, and only on very specific locations on the game. Long time people did not know, were exactly the Crystalline Swords can be found. So the price kept high, even for Swords with average stats. Someday, someone leaked a information of a farming spot, and the people who knew the whole time about this spot went mad about the leaker. They (a bunch of people) kept this a secret to make high amounts of money. I do now know anymore, if the leaker was one of them, but oh boy, that was a mud fight. Friendships broke, accounts were temporally shut down because of the toxic.

Well after more than a year of daily Treasure Shroom stomping it finally happened!
Today after the Dragonstand Meta the Central Advance Shroom finally gave me the box!!!!
I really want them but 3k wow, dunno what to do atm, i’ll just keep em boxed for a while I guess.

I never saw someone posting it after slaying a shroom. People allways tell here about there rare loot, repeatedly dropped in Dragon’s Stand. The loot at Bloodstone Fen and Draconis Mons seems different, so maybe no Boot Boxes here? I don’t know … After 2 year’s it is not really proven, which Shroom drops the Boxes.

I’ve been thinking for quite a while that there are 1, 2 or maybe 3 players are forming a monopoly to keep the price up. So if you are willing to pay there price, you do support there methodes, and that makes me puke.

Anyone fought the Shroom at Draconis Mons? It run’s to one Underground tunnle to the next, while you have to avoid endless troops of other Mushrooms. You can’t stop, slow or block it. Took me and another guy around 7 minutes. Absurd.

Does someone know advice?

First things first: I put the question to the Support-Team. They told me, to ask here. (I ask’ed here too, but no response: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/pvp/When-does-Pee-Vee-Pee-S6-end/first#post6571262)

So, here is the deal: I fought in the 6. League and managed to stay in the best 250 for the last 2 weeks of the running season. At the very last day I lost a match (-18 -> cruel, I know) and slipped out of the best 250 players. After the lost match, I played another game and won it (+10). At the same time there was a yellow message, that the Season is currently running out (or something like that). So I played another match and won this too, but even the Season was still running (yellow note was still and more than a half hour there), I received no points for the last match.

I do not get it … Why did the first match count with 12 points (Season running) and the second match did not (Season still running)?

Mhm … The first thing I did after the Update was checking the Achievements, so I can do some while playing Story. So I knew about the Fancy Flying thing before even playing 1 minute of the new content. Result: First try = achievement. Call me lucky one, I dont know …

Some advices: Use stealth! Also: The destroyers aim for your current movement. So if you change the trajectory, the attacks will miss. Do it as often as you can. Even a little turn to left or right will make the (just prepared) attacks miss. You also can close your Glider for a sec. The more unpredictable your movement is, so much better.

Is it normal that I got no points while the season was still running?

That’s the deal: I lost a game (-18 points). After that, I started a new game. At this point, the season Six was running (without any note, that it will be over soon). I won the match and got 10 points. At this moment, there was a yellow info note, that the season is coming to an end. So I played another match, won that but got no points. The yellow note was still there, and so 30 minutes later, as well there was no padlock at the skill rating.

Something new about this? Guess not. I assassinated a couple mushrooms the last week like in “old days”. The result was predictable.

Today my patience and tenacity was rewarded. The Event started very soft. Only 2 or 3 carriers spawned at the start and there were exactly as many players around. Each one could focus one, so we had everything under control from the very beginning. After 2 minutes more people joined, but the hardest part was allready done – easy peasy. Torment is very super effective here, as I expected. Bring a Revenant for maximum damage. All I had to do was waiting for the right scaling of the Event and keep an eye of the carriers. But no one really came far with that amount of condition damage around. But I agree: The Enemys Defiant Bar still needs a down scaling.

I thought, it’s easier with just 2 or 3 players around. That’s the result >.<

First things first: It’s a good thing, Events give Progression to the Heart tasks when completed. Doing Events is now even more rewarding, and I’m really happy with the possibilities to fill the Hearts But even so, the Heart tasks in Lake Doric are time-consuming as never before.

The white mantle is well organized and tough. Fighting the clerics or mesmers takes (comparatively) time, if you are solo, and it’s with no ordinary “trash mob” to compare. Killing these foes gives about 2 – 3 % heart progression (I dont know). Everything else seems completly the same. Extinguish fire, set traps, destroy traps, … It makes no noticeable different. Especially the Heart task at Saidra’s Haven is completly over the top. I collected 10 units of Seafood = makes about 15 % progression. Even with the 2 or 3 events around, completing this heart takes more than 15minutes, which is with no other heart in the game to compare. (I know, that I’m speaking of. 28 times of 100 % world completion.)

After 7 times of 100 % Lake Doric map completion, I’m feeling tired of doing Saidra’s Haven and the Harvest Cascades Hearts. The rest is … okay. Could be better, but okay.

Shoulders: Marodeur

Boots: Invisible (if you look at it this way)

After my Party raged once again, I decided to stubbornly complete this dungeon – If necessary alone. My patience and tenacity succeeded after many Trys. Here is how you solo the Gate at Caudecus’ Manor (Path 2):

I was very, very, very uncertain, if that isn’t a cheat or something similar. Today, after two days I recorded that and after I thought about it for a long time, it’s my opinion, that it is not. I compare it to a real-time strategy game. You cause confusion by dropping kegs to strange Locations. As a consequence the bandits leave the Position to check, what just happened. You, the Player, takes advantage of it, what is just like you do in strategy games: Stir up trouble in the backgraund and use the confusion to sneak behind the enemy lines and reach your goal. This works all the better, because the bandits are very badly organized. No effective command structure ->everyone does, what he wants.

5 more days now. All Shrooms slaughtered. Makes 35 more unsuccessful attempts. Not even a kitten exotic item. I quit at this point, until something changes.

Played my newest character without Boots the last 5 days. Looks fine to me and no one has criticized it (Dungeons and Fractals). Losing Stats and a Rune still sucks, but there is nothing I can do about it.

Primarily you have to like it, not someone else. After all: You spend money because you like the style on your character and not to show of (most of the people, lol).

Armor skins still looking better than Outfits >.<

Even after 4 years of gaming I did not gathered enough money for all 3 pairs (yes, I want all, not just one, and I will/can not compromise). Not to mention, I have not lost hope yet, that someday ArenaNet will adjust the drop rate.

Classic Pokémon cheat.

The deal is, GWMO, I’m farming them since (over) 14 months now. Atleast 3 Mushrooms every day. With the shrooms in Dragon’s Stand and Bloodstone Fen about 1500 Mushrooms in total. Or in other words: I failed 1500 times. I lack of endurance, trying it further.

The only reason for me farming the boots is the awfull Charr-Footwear. I always wanted some stylish beastlike looking Footwear like Laces or Straps. I am sick of farming day for day this garbage (more than 14 months now), so I am on the verge of buying one of the two new Outfits in the Store. But if I do so, I am losing the possibility of customization, having only a full armorset. It feels like a defeat …

Anyone recognized some Chak chasing the Treasure Mushroom? I saw it a few times and it is still new to me.

Okay … I thought, the Achievements are showed as completed, because the items, which you get from these Tasks (2015 items), are still at my storage.

I achieved 5 of the Wintersday tasks instantly, because I did not spend the items for karma last year. The problem is: I can not redo the achievements, so I did not get any achievement points.

Nice idea, really, but never gonna happen. People allready paid thousands of gold thanks to crappy RNG. So, even if ArenaNet does anything about this misery, all they can do is adjust the RNG, so they don’t kitten people on.

Meanwhile prices of these boots keep raising and raising, because fewer people kill treasure mushrooms. It is 3k+ per armor weight, over 10k for all 3 armor weights just for being able to hide a skin. Sometimes there is not a single one for sale at all.

I have no idea why I’m still doing this. Over 13 months now every day 3 mushrooms. I got better drops in real life …

I’m working for the “Saving the City of Gold”-Achievement currently and prefer to use the Armors to help other players. But there is a annoying bug, which makes you lose the armor when entering Tarir or after the challenges. Today I lost to times in a row my (silver) armor and at the very same run one time my (gold) armor after the challenge. I couple of days ago I even lost two times the gold armor right after the challenge.

What is wrong with these nasty guys? You can barely avoid them. They start chasing and attack players from about 1,500 attack range.
