Simple fact that each side is designed to have different weakness and strength’s so it gives the players challenges/obsicals to over come to take each side keeps. Same thing with EBG map in reg WvWvW, WvWvW isn’t meant to be fair.

Working as intended, it was meant to be slow progress to get this stuff until EOTM hit then you can now farm allot of this stuff in short amount of time.

I’m sure I speak for the community when I say that there are far more important issues than this and that many just don’t care they just want what’s inside the BL chest.

I stopped playing for 6 months and I have no problem with the AP system. It’s totally fair you either play the game to get them or you don’t plain and simple.

Please nerf karma more. What do we EVEN need karma for? There are too much. We don’t want any more karma. People keep convert them to money using the mystic forge exploit. Please let it that we only get 100 karma for the daily. Each event should only gives us 10 karma or so. Teq should only give you 1000 karma instead of 20,000. Each Obi shard should cost 10,000 karma instead of 2100.

I know that there are guilds out there that just farm WvW for karma, I know its on the lower tier servers since no one really plays on them. So it easier to farm all the maps in WvW to get insane karma.

How can you karma train in WvW that no one hardly plays? You can’t have a karma train if there is no one playing to flip things back so the defeats the purpose of going to low tier server with low population. WvW isn’t made of just one guilds that karma train etc.

Since you want to karma train go play EOTM you will gain karma at a good pace.

I’ll just explain you guys something about code. What we actually call a “bug” is a line of code doing something exactly as it is meant to. Unfortunately it may not be doing what you want it to. This should have been fixed 6 months ago after the first tournament not now after they tried to pretend this bug didn’t exist till after spring 2014 tournament. My support ticket replies reflects just that. The mob has every right to be angry as hell as they we should be.

Spears on land would be nice since we did have them in gw1, other than that all water weapons are fine as they are and no need for them for land use. Please stop trying to turn this game into something that it is not. Its like asking to use land weapons under water for greater water combat weapon variety.

Ranger pets need the nerfs to the buff patch rollback; everyone got so used to the pets being virtually worthless so when the ranger class finally got the buffs they needed then a lot of people cried for nerfs. Since they felt the pets were OP, of course it would seem OP since they were and still are useless to ranger class. There needs to be more careful consideration when listen to players calling for nerfs as clearly a portion of the players have their own agenda to nerf things they don’t like which make this game into something that it’s not.

It sounds like your friend has a key logger on their pc, I would suggest to have your friend format their pc to remove all the nasties on the hard drive. Change all the email/game passwords with stronger passwords.

Tournament 1 Players will be tied to the home world they have set when the season begins. This world is set the first time a character on an account loads into the game after the start of the season.

We knew this upfront before season 1 started which was nice.

OP is being shortsighted not seeing the bigger picture of direction of the game and issues around this sort of thing. Many play guild wars 2 because they don’t want to pay $15 sub each month that is forced on you to play a game. Spending money in the gem store is 100% optional and not forced on us even though some will say it is.

Absolutely NO gear-checking by others please as it causes elitist attitude an issue in game even more of a problem in chat. Remember from GW1? All the spam chat you must have this and this build before we doing X. People would wait for hours and hours before getting a full group together before doing X. No Thank You…………

F&N working as intended, F&N is just an extension of character customization that gives temporary boost to certain stats depending on F&N used.

Showing total server player hours and tracking your individual participation would be nice since Anet does track these kinds of things. Transparency is a good thing!!

To many players types all wanting/having different in game objectives etc is why server population is so lopsided as its now. So hour cap per server or on players per week? No just NO as this solves absolutely anything at all.

No way the players are going to even out the population themselves, it would have to be server population RNG splitting up all the players till all servers have the same population. Imagine all the crying on the forums lmao…

lol that’s funny because that is what I suggested GvG in WvW and they give it to China. Also China got 40 back pack skins on release that the NA/EU don’t have from what is said on reddit with few pics of a dev saying these thing in game. I would like a mega server tournament all the Blue, Green, and Red servers fight it out like how the EOTM is. This would or should solve many of the sever coverage gaps.

Yes deleting all your characters you are be able to switch to a different home world for free.

I do not know about if the stored items will still be in storage or not.

I do know that any unlocked skins will are tied to the account so you can still use any unlocked skins.

They need their stealth toned down so they can’t go perma stealth witch is OP, other than that thief’s are fine.

Add name of the character to the siege in wvw so we know who are the siege trolls so we can stop it.

I came back to the game after a six month break and the tournament had already started. Plus the server I was on people left in mass so no way I was sticking around, now just trying to find a new home.

Yes I transferred during this tournament like many others have done, some players have successfully got their world association changed while other like myself are stuck with their old world.

This is frustrating as hell we need to have clear information on what is exactly is need to be done in order to change our world in future tournaments by time based and or time plus do X amount in a progress bar or something so we all can check. Just leaving it up the Battle Historian to tell us “your association will gradually changed as you participate in the Mist War and the Edge of the Mist” Is not good enough.

Dealing with support directly or the posting here on the forums is no help either as we just spinning our wheels and getting no where. So yes some things need to change!!! It’s not like you are guarding national security secrets, this is a game!!!

GM Support tells me “your world association should change in few days, if it doesn’t please let us know.” It didn’t change and no help from support.

GM Support Lead tells me “Time played is not the only determinant in what server your rewards are tied to. I am not allowed to get into specifics but you can watch the forums to see if the discussion reveals the requirements once the season ends”.

GM Support tells me ”You will be fighting for your new server. The historian will show your old one and you will receive rewards for that one. In essence, changing servers mid-tournament will not change the reward you get at the end. You cannot exploit this system to get better rewards, nor will changing servers cost you rewards from your original realm.”

WvW Spring Tournament 2014 rules suggests its time based.

Upscaling now does add significant complexity to China players, as their leveling curve and the points at which they unlock features and systems is completely different from the experience in NA/EU. Exactly, the players themselves at fault for this nerf, so sad but true.

WvWvW Commanders really do need their own chat(like guild/map/team/say) or color in main chat for the whole map to see to help lessen the confusion on who is giving commands and who is not leading. Epescilay for EOTM since it is mega server with players from all the servers into one place that makes using team speak etc more difficult to coordinate with other players. Having to keep track of all the different server IP’s and having to download several different VOIP programs in order to play a game is a pain.

Squad chat is limited to 50 players and it rarely used if ever to issue commands, it’s mainly used so people know which commander to follow if there is more than one commander on the map doing different things from the main group etc.

Not all commanders are willing to use VOIP programs or they don’t or have or will use mic to command. Chat is always helpful because everyone can see the chat regardless and commander color would help everyone from having to look down/scroll the mini map to see who the commander is.

As for PVE I think this would cause the same problem since on maps there are always have several groups/guilds doing different things. So I think this would be better left to WvWvW only since WvWvW is way more coordinated than PVE side of things most of the time.

The game is designed to be played by zerging. So it’s perfect that there’s a zerg going around in starting areas — let’s new players learn how to zerg.

No it’s not. The developers have outright stated that the Zerging is a problem from both a technical and gameplay standpoint, and are trying to find ways to reduce it without penalizing smaller-scale spontaneous groupings.

They can say whatever they want, but in reality, all their recent content have been zerg oriented.

Exactly most if not all of the Living Story content is for Zerging it in order to do the content. It’s the way the game was made around small or large zergs, so it’s not the players fault.
