You can always select to ignore them in chat channel. It’s true that some people seem to think it’s ok to hassle others and what usually happens is someone else reads that chat and decides to go back to PvE instead. The best solution is to be the last action hero. Be the guy who still has max supply when all others have used theirs. Be the person who has blueprints when nobody else has any.
A little humility goes a long way in wvw so if I see a newb put down an AC in a place I know it’s going to get trashed really quickly I help them build it. They learn more this way and don’t get discouraged from playing. I might also whisper that the spot where I’ve moved to would be better next time and explain why. The first AC may be a waste of supply but it’s one time only. Telling people not to do things only winds them up which results in a smaller team and less people following certain commanders. Personally I don’t chastise newbs for game mechanics like rallying which needs to be addressed.
It’s not about me per say! Yesterday what the first time I’ve come across this negative behavior in game since the head start. Sure it’s fine to help players at any level constructively in positive manner I’ve no problem with and not really the issue here as it makes everyone better players at the end of the day. I’ve seen many level 80 players not knowing where to place siege so they can treb Bay etc and helped them out.
It’s another thing when players think they rule the server/s thinking they have right to control who can play WvWvW and at what level they have to be and how they must to do this or that else in a negative attitude. Thus the main reason for me making this thread to point out that WvWvW is meant for all level characters and hopefully some the ones getting bullied don’t stop playing WvWvW because some of the self appointed bullies. It just ridiculous to see the chat filled up needless BS when the severs should be focused on enemy and not each other. Oh and I do block the pointless arguning out!!

And even if the date is correct I dont believe its real because ANet wrote they want Torment to mesmer, dont see that.
They talked about condition removals, and I know that mesmer lack of condition removals, and I miss those in patch notes too.Why 25th?

New maps are a nice idea, until you notice that there’s no server out there short of 2-3 that can field a decent enough force on all 4 current maps already. Adding more maps won’t help that, at all.
Well if Anet does make new make maps they could add them in map rotation changing them weekly or monthly.
As the title says WvWvW is meant for all level players

It’s a shame that some self appointed e-bullies try to tell/force others how they should play or enjoy the game and to exit WvWvW/not to run with the zerg etc. Low levels toons are not breaking any rules by the TOS or EULA so to those that don’t like low level players well too bad and please stop filling up the chat with your needless arguing and fight the enemy and not each other on your server. Play the game your way and others will play their way while everyone needs to learn to get along.

I have not tried it in WvW yet, but they only complaint I have with the item is that the response time is very slow. I would like to be able to play shorter notes cleanly.
I actually opened a topic about the reaction time, but unfortunately those who complain alot about this issue ingame don’t seem to be very active in the forums, didn’t see the topic or simply didn’t bother to post about it.

Regarding the WvW issue, the fact that you are beeing rooted whilst playing the horn doesn’t prevent you from giving away your zerg’s position: e.g. when hiding under a cliff the enemy stands on top of, or when hiding behind a house in north camp, etc. -> actually (depending on strategy, builds, etc.) a zerg stands still very often close to the enemy, and if its just for buffing before surprising the enemy zerg etc.
You underestimate the creativity of a real troll when it comes to annoying people.
If the horn is fixed in WvW, it would be necessary to also implement that it’s muted for the other servers and also to be mutable for allies not wanting to hear it – maybe a checkbox option like “disable instrument sounds in WvW”.
The horn isn’t much different when the zerg is stacking up near a cliff for an ambush when you have people in your zerg setting off flashy skills to alert the enemy zerg or scouts to your position.
Simple temp solution if the horns/bells annoys you just MUTE your sound till you leave the area and it’s not like you are forced to hear the bells/horns.
Anet, please don’t change the Horn. There is no reason it should work in WvW at all.

It does nothing to hurt WvW in anyway, It not like you can hear the horn from a great distance to give you position away since the noise range is like 1,500 so it’s not hat far.(range of longbow) The horn can’t be used while running and gives scouts something to do while not running with the zerg.

Yeah I was thinking of an outpost type area with no enemies on it just an LA annex or something.
After playing through the story mode again and I thought it would be awesome to have Claw Island opened up for us explore, do events etc. It could be part of the living story example BLTC needs more port space for all its goods. Example #2 the pirates expanding their base of operations for future attacks etc. It’s shame that we only get to see the island just for two times for the story mode and not afterwards.

I get this every single day at the same time like clockwork since release day, now if I’m playing WvWvW all day I get this at least 3 or 4 times a day, I wish this will be fixed one day very soon. Yes I even submitted support ticket while back.

It would take Anet allot of time to go through each hair/facial hair to to fix the clipping issues for each new head piece they add to the game that’s not cost effective to do so.
While I do understand why this is done, I don’t see a reason to do it with certain facial hair styles. I very much doubt some, like the one in the OP, will ever cause clipping issues. But then again, I could be totally wrong

This is absurd, and I don’t agree to it. ANet is a great company and made fantastic game, and our beards can’t disappear just because it’s a custom. So I report the same bug and eagerly await the patch.
I like said above it’s not a bug and this won’t be fixed since this issue has been around way back in gw1 with the event hats.
The reason for removed hair is being the easy and quick solution to prevent clipping issues with all the different hairstyles/beards.

SoR no fireworks, not in overflow
Sorry, that does suck, but I’m unclear how your networking and connection issues are ANet’s fault? 8 months of forum posts from people with unstable connections also doesn’t put it in their hands. Most people I know, including myself, don’t even have lag, let alone stability problems. If it was on ANet’s end there wouldn’t be any way to avoid it, which means it can’t be.
Even GW1 had network issues for the first year before it got sorted out by Anet. You can’t always blame people’s connection after they have their isp come out and run test on their connections etc and all test come fine. Sure the web is complex with many factors can cause network problems. A huge part of it has to do with how good the network code is and how good it’s optimized as well the bandwidth & hardware it runs on.
Tigg’s conversation does warn players that if they leave the area they forfeit their bet or any possible winnings. I’m sorry that you experienced a disconnect after playing a bet.
You missed the point “network issues still haven’t been fixed after 8 months” and it’s mostly due from on your end and not all on on our end or our isp. It’s obvious when the players only have problems with certain game/s and not other games they play rules it out where the problem is.

I hate to be the bear of bad news, this isn’t a bug, nor it will be fixed since this has always happend since GW1 head peices from events. I know Anet has commented on this before, right now I can’t find the link/s to it. Many don’t like it and we all just have live with it. Life!!!
Those pve creatuers are just fine as they are for to help level up and to fill in some of the space on the map.
The armor/weapons sold by the merchants does not have a special skin. It is a stat combo only.

Sorry but thats not the case. In this dungeon seems to have no diminishing returns for chests. and the end exp coins and silver is not deminished. so the chests dont have it. i had a fiend run it 23 times in a row, he got 6 backpacks 4 minies and 2 tonics.

JQ and SoR are really good at this double teaming. When our Hill got taken, we fall back and got supply and built treb to hit SoR tower. We nailed incoming SoR who tried to hit our treb, but then a JQ zerg coming to hit our treb. Well, maybe nothing we can do in JQBL, we’ll leave JQBL to you 2 servers and see what will happen…good luck~
QQQQQ more what was JQ & BG been doing to SoR the past couple of weeks? Double teaming SoR!!! JQ would go after Long View while BG goes after Cliff Side at the same time while SoR pushed JQ & BG back each time. Besides that’s the beast of having 3 server worlds playing against each other, people need to put on their big boy pants.
As JQ claim over weeks to be stack with professionnal and veterans wvw player base, being 1st so long was like a magnet for fairweather players to transfer over now you are full but you have to face some other proplayers from lowers tiers that came for this said challenge to beat the overstack JQ. Seem not impossible and BG is really getting more and more veteran and skilld pro crew and guilds from lower tiers. Armies are forming and for now I can say that BG is stronger and best place to go as wvw player that love heavy fights. Some more guilds will complete BG crew soon and ensure it to stay n°1 now.

I would NOT call JQ to be stacked with professionals or veteran players when some of us on SoR wittiness at least 10 people from JQ take advantage of the Mesemer exploit to ninja Hill’s couple nights ago. If they were so good they shouldn’t have the need to be so shady to get ahead in ppt.
A forced respawn timer is badly needed in WvWvW to prevent the Mesmer exploit and not just to prevent spying and calling targeting for trebs.
You will have to sign up for them, no free pass to future beta’s
It’s not cheating, just part of the risk of putting siege to close to where the bad guys can kill it.
Keep the nerf wars out of the server room and ban Colin from swinging his sword’s in there also

One merit is too much for me as I’m a one person guild and I have no interest of doing guild missions, so congrats for taking away useful things from small guilds that used them without doing exploits. All the large guilds will not be bothered by this in anyway shape or form as large guilds have no problems earning loads of influence a day plus getting merits, all this does is screw over small guilds/one person guilds.

Influence is still in use, however, it can be earned through relatively unremarkable actions such as simply logging in. Completing the new guild content will require the skill and coordination of your guild, so we have made special rewards deserving of that feat.
Also, influence is a shared currency, whereas the merits are earned both on the guild and personal level. There will be more information soon.
I hope one person guilds like myself won’t be penalized by able to get/share in the all the new things coming.
Rich ori node nerf in Southsun Cove no longer justifies the risk with the Champ Karka guarding a normal node now. Bring back the rich node please Anet.
Same issue for me aswell, nothing change on my pc at all just DL patch and went back to WvWvW yesterday and got the same problem as OP screenshot.

WvWvW Spawn area Hills should be made into a cliff so once a player goes outside the spawn area they can’t run back upside the side of the hill so they can be invulnerable to attacks above the supply camps in Borderland maps. It’s a bit unfair tactic to run down to attack then runaway to regen health while invulnerable.

Yes it would be nice if we could get more frames or a token for one since many like myself used one up before we knew about the endless tonics.
the point of doing these is to get the parts you need to make any 2 minis you want if you want them and it’s not the point to farm them to become rich.
