Personally I love the downscaling. If I go back to help a friend, its still somewhat of a challenge and I’m not just blowing through all mobs therefore ruining the experience for my friend.

Not to mention the fact that it makes the lower areas still fun. Pwning everything up is fun for about 3 minutes.

I have 100% completion, most likely you skipped a map somewhere, or maybe when you were first starting out in an area and you forgot to ‘go back’ and finish the SPs.

Its going to require you visiting every area and hitting M so you can see the SP totals.

Around 39g on main and alt combined. Full exotic armour + at least 3-5g worth of mats in bank.

I karma farm a lot at CursedS, and salvage white items only with basic SK. Sell the blue green to merchant. And TP the rares.

Isn’t this an overview of pretty much every MMO that has quests?

I was having issues with mine too, I was told today by customer support rep. that they were doing some updates to the system. This error could be related.

I have yet to get home to try it as I’m at work.

Is there a setting to disable the screen shaking during large elementalist spells or other large AoE attacks?

It gets kind of annoying during boss events when my screen is going nuts from all the spells and large attacks.

I heard it was possible to disable, but I can’t find the setting to do so.

Help?

That’s what I did thinking that the server I transferred too would get the forts with the vistas I needed, turns out TC is dominating all the maps and has all the forts I need… kicking myself for being impulsive. Guess this is a learning lesson.

Same here, same here. I just want 100%!! I’m at 98% with a couple more stuff to get in TC and Eternal battlegrounds.

Yes, its in the story mode dungeon. I beat the quest last night and I actually enjoyed the dungeon. The ending was kind of anti climactic I thought but thats just my opinion.

I also must say i loved the music track at the celebration in FT.

1 level 80 warrior with full exotic. 1 lvl 3 thief with full starter :P

27 and love it. I do hope they add more end game content however. And stuff still is quite a bit buggy. Overall tho, beautiful game.

You already know how to create another character. There’s not much we can tell you if you have attachment issues to your main.

Other than try to set a goal on your alts and attain it. Keep setting goals and getting them and after awhile you will become used to your alt. Your main will always be ‘there’ when you want a break.

I miss all the actual named bosses instead of veteran this champion that. My favorite was Pravus Obsideo

I also miss the skill capping for elite skills.

This actually made me LOL in the middle of my office when I opened up the back view file.

It typically goes into your My Documents folder under Guild War 2. Then subfolder called Screens.

I have a shortcut on my desktop for it. I have about 120 sshots so far.

NO MOUNTS. There are plenty of WPs, besides they want to facilitate people to walk around the map and INTERACT with other players. Adding mounts would ruin that. This isn’t WOW.

Stop being lazy and walk. I do agree that WP costs could be reduced however. I understand they need money sinks, but at level 80 WP costs are quite high.

I have the same question, I would like to upgrade my exotic GS with a superior sigil of fire.

Very much so. I have a level 80 and working on 100% completion, well over 250 hours in now.

If you put it in perspective, watching a 2 hour movie at the theatre is like $10.

1 character – level 80 warrior. I’d like to get 100% map completion then start an alt. I would also like to get crafting skills to 400. At least the two I’m working on now.

the only good rewards I’ve found in any area of the game is map completion of the higher level zones. gives you a couple exotic pieces that sell up to a gold each.

I too have found this to be quite good for making money, granted map completion takes some time but the rewards for high level zones are decent.

Yes, I find myself somersaulting in the office to get away from my boss at times.

haha – but no i don’t really play any other games at this time.

Keep in mind that if you sit your character afk for awhile – have to run out, eat etc. That time gets counted even though you are not playing.

I believe the auto logout is after 45min of idle, but if you are like me and usually stay logged in while your doing something, that ‘age’ command could be skewed higher due to those idle sessions counting.

Just something to keep in mind so you don’t flip out in shock on seeing those high numbers, lol.

I love underwater combat, sometimes I find myself screwing up because I think I’m closer/further away to something than I actually am lol

I play a warrior and switch between speargun and spear and I find it fun.

It IS hard however, if your against a champion solo, forget it.

I agree, the targeting in this game needs to be fixed. I find it quite annoying when I’m running with a group of ‘allies’ in a story mission and the enemies are all around us. I click tab on the enemy and attack them. I move the screen around by right clicking and holding to drag it, only to have it select an ally in front of me.

If right clicking is really a targeting feature, that needs to be disabled, or at least given the OPTION to disable that.

Also, I do experience frustration with being in downed state and having the target move to something else that has full health – not the mob that was about dead. So I proceed to accidentally attack the full mob, which basically screws me over.

I love the game so far, ~100 hours, but some stuff needs work.

That would be a great idea. It seems (judging from the forums) that most qualms about the ‘endgame’ is that there isn’t much to do after level 80.

I’ve been kicked due to idle time, not sure how long till it kicks however. If the DE pops every 30min, that might be quick enough to allow this. Not sure.

I actually see a lot of mesmers Matthew. Necros and engineers aren’t that common on my server. Lotsa low level engineers with turret armies, but none at higher levels. Most seen: warriors, guardians, mesmers, rangers (in that order)

Fair enough. I guess on my server not many mesmers.

68 Warrior 8/10 – Some stuff needs fixed up most of which has already been posted. Hopefully within the coming weeks and months its tweaked and fixed.

IMO – not many engineers or mesmers. Lots of warriors and guardians.

I have 8gb of RAM, 1GB video RAM, core i7.

I have had no latency/bug issues whatsoever other than just this one spot.

An eastern skill point capture in Kessex Hills seems to be bugged. This is the one where there is a ‘Portal to the Underworld’ and 3 shades come out.

Everytime I engage them it crashes my game, and my computer. I have to restart.

This has occurred 3 times in a row. I am running GW2 on Windows7 64bit.

Not sure if this has been fixed, but I haven’t tried it since Saturday (its now Monday).
