I’ve added some extra info bellow (Picture 3) and I’ve tried to fix it using many types of bags, placing bags in different orders and also tried taking out of inventory many types of items piece by piece and nothing worked out.
I also run dual monitor but only 1 for the game itself. Not expanded view.

Once again, new patch and still not fixed.

I don’t see how Anet can ban people who received gems. What’s the rationale?

At worst, you got phished.

At best, you got free gems for subscribing to a social tracker

The point of my questions isn’t about getting banned or not. I’ts just about getting informed on what happend to the ‘service’ because only a minor playerbase knew about this.

People could exploit it and print as many codes as they wanted. Since there was 5000 codes being given away, 1 person could have easily obtained hundreds of dollars worth of gems. I would expect ArenaNet to ban for this however, though they might not, since it’s 3rd party.

Link your GW2 account to what? Sounds a bit phishy. Maybe it was a scam.

You just add your account name into your profile. Scamm or not me and many other people got the gems but now this just seems weird cause there’s nothing floating around the internet. Even the reddit post got deleted(?).

Last night (night for me) there was rolling some facebook app that would give you 400 gems if you link your GW2 account and had many other rewards along it.

I just woke up and came back to see if everything was smoother now because it was overloaded and not loading pages correctly but I can’t find anything about it now. What’s going on ?

Thanks for your suggestions! I was already using Rata Sum for months as a scape for LA/DR. I guess I’ll have to return to it but I’ll give a try to Ebonhawke also.

Besides all the convenience the main one I use this for is my computer convenience. I have no fps drop neither my pc goes crazy in this place and that’s honestly what would make me buy it every 2 weeks.
Now I’m forced to have money to buy alot at once which I can’t. Neither I wont exange gold to gems at this crazy moment (5g+ for 100gems lol?). It’s sad that I’m forced to bad polished places like LA and DR when too many people is logged.

Since I had no asnwers on my last post about this and I just saw in game “7 days left” to purchase Royal Passes I have to ask again.
Is the Palace permanent ? Why are the passes temporary?

i’m also concerned for the very same reasons. it took me nearly three weeks (20 days) of dailies to earn enough laurels to purchase the magical infusion (%20), and it cost me a significant amount of gold to purchase the MF armor, weapons, runes and sigils for my MF sets. let’s not forget the transmutation crystals i bought to transmute them. i sincerely hope that anet is prepared to return the laurels and gold i spent, because if i’m given a silly set of cheap armor, weapons, runes and sigils instead, i’ll lose all of the time and work i’ve invested. some of the skins i used on my MF weapons and backpiece are limited edition; this means that if i were to replace even just the weapon skins, it would cost 44g. altogether, aside from the ascended rings and magical infusion, that comes up to a grand total of 70g and 126k karma. i’m not exaggerating or whining, i just want proper compensation.

You are clearly in the same situation as me and you are also a collector. There is alot more gold invested behind these diferent armor/weapon set(s) than it looks like at first sight. You pointed out some other important aspects that I forgot but went through them.

As tittle says I just started a Guardian. I play since pre-launch so I’m not entirely new to them but I never actually played one and I’m opening this thread to ask the community what are the latest (mainstream or not) detailed builds available out there ?

Can you provide links or something to the current meta-builds that I should use or follow for overall PVE (+Daily World bosses/Temples raids), Dungeons/Fractals, Solo Farming and any of interest.

I’m looking to waste enough for 1 full Exotic Armor+Weapon Set(s) for now.This leads me to thik I need something balanced.

Keep in mind I’m not looking for any SPVP/WVW build at this time. So don’t waste your time for now.

I don’t want to panic but after reading “Looking Ahead: Guild Wars 2 in 2013” and this part regarding magic find:

We want to remove the choice players are currently being forced to make on their gear: “Do I go with better stats, or better loot?” This isn’t in the spirit of cooperation that Guild Wars 2 is all about. As such, we’ll be removing magic find entirely as an item stat and turning it into account stat that improved the odds of rare drops for all your characters.

I have alot of questions regarding this announcement even if they say:

Our goal will be to have as little disruption as possible to those who currently own items with a magic find stat on them.

What’s going to happend to my 120 laurels, 24 guild commendations, 10 gold and months of wait (maybe 3 or 4) to get these ascended magic find stat items?

I’m not even taking in consideration all other items (that I also have) available with magic find stats because those don’t really bother me as they require playing the core game/buying them with gold from tp. Gold is something that I’m not limited to 1 per day like laurels for example. < This is very important anet!

I know this won’t change your minds but I want to share my opinion and say that there’s only one reason for me to waste my currencies on those items and that was because of +10% mf stat. In other words if you are removing this number and stat from these items I don’t really care for anything else besides getting at least my laurels back. Those are useless items without that stat and with the same ammount I paid for these I could have gotten a better one. I could have bought banners/dyes anything else. But if these items existed without the 10% mf stat I’m 100% sure I would never buy them.

Again, the only purpose was to stack my mafic find stat and nothing else anet.

What’s funny about this thread is that months ago I started one with “anet” word in the title and got instantly removed cause “you can’t use anet, ncsoft, etc on your thread titles” but now even Jonathan comes in and reply. lol.
I didn’t even got a chance to save my text and repost it (it was pretty huge) cause it got removed and it wasn’t about rant just some opinions about the Blacklion Company and how it affects collectors that came from guild wars 1 back then. I’m amazed by the rule sets.

Keep in mind that the hint achievement is severly bugged for a long time now. So it might be your bugged on this one. The way should be to manually select atleast 5 achievements in the daily or monthly and then try to select the 6th. If nothing happens you prolly allready had this one and your hint completion is bugged.

How can I get this hint “Completion Threshold” for the achievement ? I can’t find a way to make it pop-up so I guess it’s bugged ?
Also a friend of mine said it’s not possible to get the achievement anyway cause it’s bugged even when i get 100%. What’s up with this ?

I’m getting really sad with my performance running or not crossfire.

2x HD 5770 1GB GDDR5 + 1GB GDDR5 (only using one at the moment – better performance)

Guild Wars 2 is the very first game not running on my computer (in high settings with good performance 60~100 fps) in three years.
I can’t believe it’s a ‘getting old’ problem but who knows.

I use Crossfire with 2x HD 5770 but recently i disabled the crossfire and i got like 50 fps at medium-high settings.

My 2x HD 5770 should be able to run the game in high settingns with no problem but it doesn’t.

It feels weird to have my second card unplugged because I can’t play a game running both.
Do you have any information regarding Crossfire/SLI support for gw2 engine?

EDIT: I realise my cards aren’t new around but gw2 is the very first game not passing on my setup.
