Way points should have a flat fee on a point-to-point basis.
Short distance = small amount.

Read what you wrote. It sounds like you are quite convinced. I’m a little beyond you in level and I haven’t had any of those feelings about the points you covered. While I have a few complaints or things I just don’t get, big picture is I’m having a blast.

Second hand experience is all I have. A member of my guild stated that no they do not stack but was talking about a specific rune, but had a X on proc effect.
I’d like to know if this is true for all runes, not just proc runes. Or if it even is true on all proc runes.
I’m no warrior expert but around the same level I started working on adding stats via pebbles I’d obtained through mining. I added about 14 toughness and some vitality and not only was I getting hit less hard (it seemed) I wasn’t dying near as much.
From there I worked on filling out the other stats I believe I needed like Power and then Precision. I honestly have no idea if I’m doing the stats correctly but I’m a monster for sure. I’m tough to kill in the middle of tons of mobs and do my best to get in the mix.

Look for the Telescope, Heart and Green Star (questline) icons on your map.
Telescope tells you about the map within a certain area.
Hearts are locations with a quest to do for Karma, Gold and Experience.
Story-line Quests are a quest line that is based off the options you picked when you selected your race, profession, and options on character creation.
You can level from questing the story line, grinding mobs, resurrecting people, discovering new places, gathering and finding Vistas. The choice is yours though a combination of all of this is best, if not inevitable.

ATM transfers are free.
You can only be on one server per account, to my knowledge.
When you transfer, you are moving the account over, not the characters. So they all go with you.
Transfers take about 2 minutes depending on ANet. Mine did.
I hate deleting characters. There are only 5 slots and yet 8 professions.
You can purchase more slots with enough in-game gold. 5 is a good amount to start off with IMO. Could be more or less, but is enough to try out a few characters. By level 7 you open up weapon swapping which is a great step up in the play of any profession.
If you like dual wielding I’d try Thief, Warrior or Guardian.
Rangers can also dual wield melee but it works a hair different as some melee weapons are thrown as mid-ranged weapons (axes).

Weird, aside from this post I’ve yet to see any post relating to what the OP states. In fact I was remarking that there was a serious lack of “Why not..” posts – which is a great thing.
If this is just my perspective then take is as such, but I’m loving it.
The moving indicator API is already web-based. I found this out when I had connection issues with it and got a typical 404. I believe it is .PHP to some degree.
As for the ForEx, I’ve already been doing that, but have only been playing about a week so my sample is very limited. I did notice a big drop in prices the day before my first login, so I guess I was lucky there.
As for the gold to gem, gem to gold exchange rate, I’m unclear on that as well as I’ve only been using gold to gem exchange.

Well determining that digital sales are offline for almost a week now I’d say they’ve sold quite a bunch…
And of course they’re selling even more boxes now that players have no alternative.
You can still buy digital copies from all sources aside from ANet. BestBuy and Amazon primarily.
What I’d like to see is a latency monitor. Is that in the game?
How do I view the server load and wvw information when I have already selected a server?
Also, how do you begin the transfer service?

To transfer, open game to character select menu.
Bottom left is the server UI button.
Open the list, select the server you wish, transfer.
The entire thing took me a little over 2 minutes.

I simply don’t talk to the NPC that shows them all in a given area.
If you ever played Rift, you’d know that down-leveling is a good thing. There is nothing worse than being level 10, fighting level 10 mobs, and some level 50 group comes in and wipes the entire map before you can get a shot off.

Mounts as a travel faster method would indeed be lackluster. There has to be some other reason to add them besides moving faster, like the WvW suggestions above.
They need to feel as if they are a part of the world and minute to minute gaming, otherwise they are just fluff (which isn’t terrible, but certainly not a good enough reason to add them, imo).
Its actually cheaper to buy a whole new account than buying 5 more slots+ bank space for the new slots

Yeah all my pets have the same name now for some reason. I rename but it keeps defaulting to that first name. Definitely buggy.
To get to Overflow I just leave zone and re-enter. Usually does the trick.
My only reservation about mounts: Never ever make them flying mounts. Please!
Mario has a great point. I’ve noticed my Fern Hound is great for boss fights as I can keep him out of combat at my feet and run to areas where people may need a heal. My weapon on swap has +healing to it so I just swap, heal, swap, keep moving.
Also a lot of people seem to be really generous and will try to raise a pet even in battle if able. I need a /ty macro for those guys hehe.

There are some that say so and so would be interested in these. So I’m saving those until I come across these characters.
It’s is likely that you’ve already come across those characters as they are related to the area you found them.
If you turn in while doing heart quests, they add to the completion. If you’ve completed them and turn them in, you get nothing. From my experience.
Quick tip for discovery. Add all of your usual mats to your bags: Jute, Leather, Wood, Metal but also add all of your other items from your Collectibles Tab that are craft-worthy like Claws, Bloods, Dusts, etc. As well, add any items that you’ve picked up in the world and stored like Silver, Doubloons.
Then once you’ve opened up the discovery panel, all applicable items for that craft will appear to be used.
Ultimately what I’m saying is if they aren’t in your bags, they will not appear in the discovery panel and you could be missing a chance at discovering something.

I haven’t invested 1/1000th of the time I will be, but so far of all the combos I’ve played I’m having a surprising amount of fun with a Sylvari Ranger.
I went with shortbow & axe/torch (axe/horn). When in a big fight or event I feel ridiculously strong and hard to get to aside from incoming ranged abilities while evade is on CD. The best is evading directly through the mob, dropping a fire ring and then using an evade shot and bouncing away while they burn.
Aside from my pet aggro’ing unwanted mobs occasionally, I’m surprised how much fun I’m having with this profession.
I added some points to survival (I think is the name) and my pets are beasts now. Add that with a skill that allows my pet to be invulnerable for a short time, I can fair well even 1v1 against equal level Veterans.
Fun stuff.
My biggest leap in crafting levels came at discovery. Even items that would be grey on a normal crafting make, would still grant quite a bit of crafting levels.
I was stuck at 50/75 until I figured this out.
For instance in Leatherworking I’d make 6 chest pads/ 6 chest plates (I think is the names) and then 1 of each inscription – Precision, Vitality, Power, etc etc.
Then I’d do discovery on all of them and got quite a bit of crafting xp. I went over 75 and now heading towards 150.
Aside from the tips I have to say that this crafting model is very well done. Am impressed.
