Just to clear some things up, they left one guy in there because they only invited two people from their guild. I asked him and he told me they invited two guild mates.
I’m sorry but you can’t just move on from something like this. I worked my kitten off to get to that final fractal and for something like that to happen? This happens daily to people and we don’t hear a thing about it. It makes me afraid to even attempt to pug fractals again because of what happened.
Luckily though, I talked to the guy they left in the party. He took screenshots and is emailing anet, they’ve been reported by multiple people, and hopefully their guild name gets around. It’s gotten around Lion’s Arxh and someone recognized their name and said that they’ve done it before.
I don’t post regularly on the forums, but this is becoming a growing problem.
I just spent 2 hours in a higher level fracs (29 is high for me), and everything was fine until we got to the last boss. As soon as we started fighting the Jade Maw.. I got kicked. And so did the other person in the party. Two people from the same guild kicked two of us at the end and filled it with their guildmates.
It really bothers me that I won’t know if anything will be done about this… or the fact that this can still go on and is still going on right now.
I hope this is legal to post the guild name… but do avoid “Esque In Finem” or (END). Their guild kicks other party members and invites their own guildmates.
Why does this sound familiar? Oh wait….
Why people think it is OP
•Necromancers have not been seen at large in sPvP and were previously free kills
•Necromancers are the first to bring good condition builds to sPvP
•People are not using builds to counter the condition capabilities of this build
•People do not have enough experience fighting a condition build to know when to pop cleanses
I know scepter isn’t the most used weapon and skill 2 in water is awful but with the recent patch, has anyone had skill 2 not go off at all because auto attack interrupts it? Doesn’t go off unless I’m looking away from the enemy.

spending more time into forums instead of playing the game.for me it sounds like 2 hours ranger playtime and some hate against beastmaster builds
Lol yes, my 42? Post count. I love reading the “ranger sucks threads”. It’s really heartwarming that you guys feel that way. Because I love when a thief or warrior runs up to me thinking I’m a “sucky ranger” and I pwn them.
Mug was to powerful for where it was on the trait line. If they revert it, it should be moved to master or grand master.
Personally Mug should be changed to something else. Stardrift said stun? Might be OP but it sounds nice. Steal should do damage with out a trait, not a lot of damage, maybe 1500 or 2k.
I have no problem moving it to Master or Grandmaster. I have no problem reducing the damage. I have no problem with any number of the other things they could have done to bring it in line if it was deemed too powerful.
What I do have a problem with, however, is changing is making it something it’s not supposed to be. What part of the word “mug” as it relates to “stealing” says “healing”? It was created to be make Steal inflict damage. And now it’s been twisted to make Steal into a heal as well? It makes no sense. And, as I said, it’s potential as an opener is greatly diminished; you either don’t open with Steal and save your heal or you open with Steal and waste your heal.
Whatever you (“you” being no one specific) think of your understanding of the trait, the class mechanic, or the game in general, I think you’re wrong to defend Mug as a heal.
Lol if you think some traits are in the wrong trees or thief has horrible traits, I’ll direct you to necro, ranger, and elementalist.
You are one of those people who benefit the most from this game not having DPS meters, because it seems like math and observation isn’t your forte.
Rapid Fire does less damage than using your longbow auto at optimal range.
Super low cooldowns are not unique to a ranger. Warrior 100b is a 6 sec cd and arguably the strongest non-autoattack weaponskill in the game.
Just stop.
Lolhundredblades let’s keep comparing to other professions that are about bursting. Rapid fire isn’t just about the damage. It’s a channel that can still hit people in stealth, procs sigils and traits often, and you can use quickness to make it a really good, quick burst. I think some of you people complain on the forums more than you actually play the game -_-
I have a level 80 thief, and I think my argument is pretty valid. Turn it into a stun? Lol now you’re just making me laugh. Thief is almost at a good spot right now, but needs more diverse builds. Not reverting traits that were changed for a reason
This guy has no idea 5-7k damage from a 5 second channel is pretty terrible.
Really? All the hours I’ve played ranger? That channel, plus your pet, plus the super low cool downs on sword, dagger, GS. Come on dude. Anet themselves said rangers are about sustained dps. We are NOT warriors or thieves. I think it’s a good thing they are reducing some of their dps. BM bunker is way too strong, I’ve put many hours into that build.
I really wish people would stop saying Ranger dps sucks. Cause it doesn’t. Play your profession right and you wouldn’t have a dps problem :p
Dps is nothing when you have no reliable way to deliver it against good players. Example, Warriors, Glass Eles, Glass Necros ect.
Glass anything is about the easiest thing to beat with a power ranger. And as for warriors, kite the kitten out of them. People don’t utilize the weapons they are given. Instead of going for super fast burst damage, equip a sword or dagger for the evasions. It works for me so much. I’m not anywheres near glass cannon. I have 1600 toughness and more often than not I can pull off a 5k-7k rapid fire.
And this is why you aren’t a developer
Mug was an OP easy to get trait before they nerfed it. Opening up with (and very often too) a 4k-6k hit that is a shadow step and instant is ridiculous. It’s fine how it is now.

This is getting very annoying. It should take at least seige on the keep or more than 8 people attacking the keep to contest it.
A thief is attacking our keep by C&D off of the building in EB and I’m pretty sure off of the walls as well. And the ridiculous range of Infiltrator’s strike does not help with stopping this abuse.
Please anet, change the way a Keep can get contested. What’s the point of a waypoint system if a thief (or any other profession at this point) can easily and constantly contest it? I know I’m not alone….
In World VS World tonight, I was fighting a ranger. He used his healing skill then I downed him. As soon as he got downed, a brightish light around him came up and he rezzed to full health. Of course, I died.
Is this a bug? Is the a glitch? Is there a trait or something I’m missing from ranger? Or did the dude just hack? I’m seriously confused. And also confused why ranger still has an OP underwater heal.
Another thing. When everyone returns to waypoint and revives Grast, he doesn’t even gain his health back. He charges back in to the fight without anyone engaged with Collossus
Collossus Rumblus is a great fight. Thanks Anet for updating him. But the NPC Grast is VERY unreliable.
For a game without dedicated healers, Grast should not be a melee class. He is not staying alive long enough to even use his protective bubble. And when he is alive to do it, EVERYTIME he is stuck in his attack animation with his hammer and is too late to even use the bubble and then he dies because of this.
Please anet, fix the way Grast works. Right now, we’ve tried 6 times in a row. And no community, this is not a L2P issue. It’s broken that we have to rely on an npc that gets downed or isn’t working like he should.
Lol hardest? People have it Eternity but nobody has Final Rest.
I hope when they reduce the damage of AoE’s they also expand on how many enemies can be hit by it. What’s the point of fighting 5 on 10 if you can only hit 5? All the cap does is promote zerging and people “get on top of me and heal heal heal”.
Big WvW patch is next month people. Quit complaining. This patch was to introduce another world event and bugs/fixes.
I’m just sad the JP wasn’t taken out of WvW lol
Anet gives one of the coolest things ever, the ability to use abilities for purposes other than combat, and people want it taken out?
I am an ele and do not mind protecting a tower/keep/castle with it. I wish more eles would do that besides me.
If you don’t want to do it, don’t do it.
You know, you people complain way too much.
You could be like Final Fantasy XIV was and everyone have a downtime of 4+ hours for patches.
There are plenty of other bugs where your character is stuck in funny animations. My favorite is when you are rezzed from down state and your character is still chest forward with their hand reaching the same way.
Or when you get knocked down, your character is sliding chest first instead of walking.
That’s the whole point of the dungeon. Don’t get in so you don’t die. Mindlessly rezzing to a waypoint and throwing yourself at the boss just makes your team look extremely pathetic.
What this will do is make people actually have some type of skill and strategy. And no, you do not need dedicated healers. Don’t make a glass cannon build. If you are taking too much damage or getting knocked down, change around your utilities/weapons.
This is a good thing for dungeons as it will make them more challenging and like Fractals of the Mist.
I can’t really tell you exactly about heavy armor dyes but I can say that walnut dye is a very cheap alternative to black dye. Looks black on almost everything and it only costs about 7 silver.
This is something I have already experienced myself and it seems that currently there is nothing they can do.

As it turns out, the crash bug that you are experiencing is a known issue that is currently being addressed by the development team. I do not have an estimated date as to when the bug will be fixed at this time.
As for the PvP Remove Dye feature, the colors that you are describing are the base colors for the armors of a Warrior and a Thief, respectively. If you had dyed your armor at any point in the past, then using the Remove Dye feature will return your armor to its base colors. The PvE dye issue that you are describing though is a bug which I have reported to the development team. Thank you for letting us know about it!

My particular armor set was cultural tier 3 which is very bothersome since the whole point of it is for looks and now it looks like crap. There goes 120g down the drain.

You have to wait for the damage, it ticks after the first second of the fear. The damage does not go off as soon as you cast fear. Those numbers you see are most likely bleeding/poison.
I transmutated some tier 2 Sylvari cultural gear. I transmutated it to level 5 gear (extra gold and like leveling with cool gear lol). Well I bought the coat, leggings, gloves, and feet. After I put it on, I tried to dye it black. It would dye it then when I exited my hero tab, the dye would revert back to grey. I tried multiple times and it wouldn’t let me dye it ebony. It would every other color except ebony.
Well, someone told me to try and take of my armor and see if it fixes it. As soon as I take the armor off, my game has a “fatal crash”. I logged back in and it crashed as soon as I took off the armor again.
Anet, can you please fix this? I spent hard-earned gold on these items and I can’t even use them properly.
This matchup is so boring. SBI pretty much has given up. It’s a shame what so many transfers to one server can do to other servers.
There are numerous topics already posted about this, and it’s not that bad. They don’t stand around whole fights, and they don’t charge off 2000 meters to fight someone who isn’t attacking. Overreaction and exaggerations have been around for thousands of years and people still do it even though it solves nothing. Go figure
The pets will always attack the person you attack. The problems you see are as follows.
1. The pet when summoned during a battle will stand still for several seconds before attacking. This is the annoying part. It is easily remedied by either hiding behind said minon at which point he is hit and then attacks or simply using his utility.
2. When traveling across terrain you begin an attack while changing pathing such as dropping from a cliff leaping over a wall. The pet will stall for a few minutes and then turn and attack. This has to do with all pet ai including ranger pets. The same remedy applies.
3. Your pet randomly attacks someone who isn’t targeted. This only happens with the flesh golem and it will only happen if withing 200-400m during his aggressive state. Remember he stands a good 20-30 feet behind you so when he goes to his spot after a battle a spawn may trigger his attack.
4. We are better off than rangers who have zero really good utilities outside of traps, and whose pet will die faster than ours unless it’s a bear, drake, or dog, and thereby they will lose 30 percent of their damage.
Finally, you aren’t even 50 yet which is when Minions start to come into their own. At 36 your minions are still dying an awful lot because you don’t have Flesh of the Master. So listen to me and relax and read the minion Q and A, and the minionmancer tips and tricks on the forums.
I’m sorry, but pets do not attack half the time for me. This is not an exaggeration, at all. I shouldn’t have to stand behind a minion for them to actually attack. That’s Anets fault for the crappy minion AI lol.
My friend is a casual and she has been wanting to get past level 2. Well everytime we do it, some freaking glitch happens and we can’t even continue or she dc’s.
The first time we got to the maw event, she got disconnected from the game, not from her internet. She couldnt’ come back in so she got no progress whatsoever.
Tonight, we decide to give it a try again. Everything was going fine till we got to the third on. On the collosus map, she somehow got pushed of from the wind things and she didn’t die or get pulled back to the map. She got stuck under the map and couldn’t do anything. Needless to say, everyone died at the fire spot and we couldn’t retry from checkpoint. We reported a bug and asked for support, and all we got was an inquery to return to the lab which reverted all the progress we had made.
Please Anet, it’s frustrating when stuff like this constantly happens. Needless to say, the people that joined left because they didn’t have time to complete ANOTHER 3 fractals in a row.
If you stack nothing but healing, power, and toughness you will have yourself a nice build. Wells siphoning is awesome, especially against groups of people. WvW it becomes a nice bunker build if you set a flesh wurm behind you to tele back if you start to take too much damage. I do hope they let healing power effect siphoning. That’d be awesome.
This is one thing I hope they fix with Necromancer. We have “multiple” weapons that apply poison, but there’s actually only three. And one is underwater that doesn’t directly apply poison unless they pass through it.
Thief has just as much poison on their weapons as us I think, which is pretty sad. And they can apply bleeds and poison much more faster than we can.
Love the part on epidemic should cast poison on target and spread to all. Hate when I epidemic and they cure their conditions a second before it casts.
I’m making the assumption that you used Lich Form against a zerg of people in WvW. Why would you do that? Lich Form is useful against small groups of people, especially when traited in toughness and power.
Try Plague form against a zerg, blinding the enemy constantly will work more than your pinata strategy.
Really people? I’m sick of everyone complaining and even thinking Necromancer is bad. I’ve played it since beta weekend event 1. It’s probably the most balanced of all the professions in the game. We are so versatile and our survivability is pretty decent.
Yes minions/life siphoning/axe could use a boost, but we are not underpowered by far.
And for those who say conditionmancer is the “worst” build of them all, come and play me then. Or just watch the amount of damage I do in WvW.

Hey Melpomene, what class are you playing? So that i can list down all the stuffs that need fixing too. pets can be taken down quickly once you noticed them, so i get the feeling that you are way too bad at this game to not notice it?
I main necromancer. Go ahead, there are PLENTY of bugs that need fixing that I already know about. So nothing you will tell me will be anything new. I’m not trying to be confrontational, so quit assuming stuff. I don’t get on the forums for this exact reason. People flame you for posting things that are obviously broken in the game and effect WvW.
Rangers are pretty much worthless during a siege otherwise.
The guard ability is basically worthless at any other point in the game.The fact that you have to equip an otherwise worthless ability just to get your class to contribute more than a single AOE on a long cool down during a seige makes this ability perfectly balanced.
Yes because if you can’t aoe walls during a siege you are worthless . . .
Not like there is anything else you could do in a siege, you certainly couldn’t
~ build an ac to aoe the walls
~ man whatever siege your team is using to take the structure
~ keep watch for incoming enemy reinforcements
~ guard your catas/trebs if you aren’t ramming
~ run supply to build more siege

And about mesmer clones inside of keeps/towers, I feel the exact same way. Shouldn’t happen. I can understand on top, but they fixed the LoS issue.
Why is it possible that an enemy ranger can have their pet guard on the top of our tower? It not only destroys our seige but also attacks us as well. Please fix this Anet. Really messes things up in WvW.
Blackgate might have won, but I think the title of “winner” should go to TC. BG clearly outnumbered TC when they were attacking the worm but TC came in, wiped BG, then took the worm for themselves. Ahhhh, that victory tasted so good.
Just a note devs.. can you please fix the damage radius on corpse eat? My character is not even by the scavengers and gets it. Or is the damage radius right?
The troll as well. His jumping move, it actually hits outside of the red circle. I’ve grown used to it, but a lot of people still don’t understand that lol.

Honestly, you people either need to stop doing the JP or quit complaining. There are player operated traps for a reason.
Don’t tell me to stop. Some people have no choice but to do the puzzle for the badges for legendary weapons. Player operated traps only work if you are AHEAD of everyone. I don’t understand why people camp the puzzle except to troll people. Majority of people that even do the puzzle is for badges so I don’t see the point except wasting your servers time and numbers.
Hey Yak’s Bend. If someone in the jumping puzzle gets THREE of your people through the puzzle and not attack them, you think I’m going to attack you? What’s with all the hostility in the jumping puzzle.
Let this be known to people that DON’T know. If someone from an opposing server /bow and /wave at you, more than likely they are not going to attack you. Some people in this game make me shake my head.
So let’s complain, complain, complain and complain some more to the point where these events just won’t happen anymore.

I’m sick of these peopel thinking they are so entitled. You missed and event, you missed it. I didn’t get a precursor. Oh well. It’s done, move on.
Only part that dragged on was the reinforcements. I set my necro up high where they coudn’t reach me, I was lagging so hard lol. Everything else was pretty fun though! ^^
I have a job. But as the smart person I am, I requested OFF the day they posted what time it was going to happen. In all honestly, you can’t please everyone. I had to miss phase 1 and 2 Friday and Saturday becuase of work. You don’t see me constantly complaining about it on the forums.
Seems like ANY time there is a queue to get into WvWvW, I go through this infite loading screen when trying to enter the jumping puzzle. It’s very annoying when you queue for 30 minutes, only to get kicked out when you want to get some seige/help allies/badges.
I know other people have this problem too
Wasn’t totally sure where to post this at, but I’ve noticed a big increase in bots running rampart on Tarnished Coast server. It’s a big issue since it affects the economy, the game itself, and people on the server, etc etc. What the big issue is here is that no one seems to be reporting them or at least give a “kitten#8221; so to speak about reporting them. People brush it off in /say or /shout like it’s nothing and some even go as far as to defend them. So if people aren’t reporting them, nothing is going to be done about them. I reported 2 bots 4 hours ago, went to class, and came back and the bots were still in the same spot. It’s a shame that this is going on and I really want these people off my server and off the game.
If the devs are interested, these are the name tags associated with the characters excluding others that were reported.
