@Chopps: the thing is, we aren’t just talking about exotics; we are talking about rares (yellows) and even masterworks (greens) not dropping anymore since the start of november.
Maybe 80 or 85% of the players have a “normal” experience in game, but this thread is about that 10/15% of the players who seem to have a constant DR sticking to them. Accountwise, all the time, for over 2 months now.
So, when is the promised AMA is going to happen? The one Chris promised “after the hollidays”? I don’t know how long these hollidays are gonna last, but aren’t they over yet?
Im confused and concerned about how they handle this case. Its not just telling me they don’t care about their customers, what is not a good sign to me, but even more concerning, they don’t care about their own product.
I noticed a very low droprate in game since 15nov., sometimes my costs for repairs and wp are even higher than my rewards. Im playing since headstart and the difference in lootdrops now compared to 2 months ago is huge. Not very motivating to play. I did send in an ingame bug report, because I honestly couldnt think of it not being a bug.
6 weeks later and with only this insulting respons as an answer, its enough. I’ll just stop playing untill they fix this “perceived” strange drop behavior.

I opened the chest but there was just junk, my reward for completing was 3 giant gifts. Are we supposed to get a minipet?
This thread is about the chest near Tixx, outside the dungeon. It should reward you with a 10 slot bag if Im correct, but most people didn’t get it because the chest was already open and can’t be ‘looted’ twice.
Why did we need to select a gift when there is no gift to receive?
I’ve also just filed a bug report about this, I didn’t get any rewards from Tixx in LA.
What happened is I talked to him and was totally expected a present in my bags so didn’t see the chest at first. At that moment my party entered the dungeon and I clicked to join them while still checking my bags.
Then I heard from my party it was a chest so I returned to LA, only to find the chest already opened and unlootable by me.
Talking to Tixx he tells me there’s only one gift disbursement per citizen.
Exactly the same happened to me. It counted as an achievement when I talked to Tixx though, but no rewards.
I didn’t fill a bug report about it.
I do agree they are way OP, especially the dolls and the golems.
The mobs are maybe for some classes soloable, but for many they aren’t. And since everybody is doing Fractals and no one is in open world anymore, its really hard to find ‘someone to group up with’.
I just killed Claw of Jormag this morning, with 10 ppl, it was a long fight, many deaths, but we made it.
Result? 5 blues! Just saying.
Asuka, I’m sorry to dissapoint you, but it’s not just Orr.
Many people (including me) noticed a severe lack of lootdrops on their alts while leveling them. The past 4 weeks it is impossible to get them level-appropiate gear by just playing the game (and without heavily using TP).
So, it’s not just Orr and it’s not just high levels.
It seems the only way to get any decent lootdrops atm is by grinding grinding grinding FotM.
The worst part of all this is that they have given us no real forum to voice our concerns, since they pick and choose what they wish to respond to and ignore the rest.
Or just plain delete posts if they don’t like them, and infract/bann the writers.
The funny thing is, they did stealth-raise the exp reward, did anyone notice that? 2 or 3 days ago (not sure exactly when). Tequatl (gold medal) used to give around 8k exp, now it gives 11k. But karma and money rewards are still the same as before.
So they want us to level even faster with less drops.
Well, if they don’t respond to us before the Winterday Event, I’m gonna ‘respond’ the same way they do, but with my wallet: ZIP!

Attended / No Loot / No Mail
Every day at least 2 dragons, but every time I wonder why I bother, because all I ever get are blues and very very rarely a green. (I had 1 yellow and never an orange in maybe 30 fights total)
But I like the dragon fights much more than dungeon fights, so I keep trying and hoping they gonna fix the loot drops.
Sometimes.
Eventually.
Hopefully in time before Im getting too bored to wait for it.

I spend 2,5 hours killing stuff, ressing people, etc. At final stage I stayed a bit behind of the mass to ress someone, he ran off after I ressed him, and yay I got killed.
Ofcourse, nobody came to ress me.
I Wp-ed and tried to run to the chest, but got killed. Wp-ed and tried again, got killed again. Final try the chest was gone. No reward for me. Only thing I got was a huge repair bill and 3 hours of my time wasted.
I guess Im not qualified for reward.
Shame on you, Arenanet!
Still no chest here.

Lets keep the monthly and daily achievements as open world content. The world is empty enough as it is now. I see more bots than people.

I noticed (and reported) that moaning in BWE1 already. Although I didn’t hear it as sexual back then, more as very very very bored. I thought being a female human in this game must be very boring, but now I guess I need to change my point of view. :P
According to the wiki:
Players are currently able to transfer between worlds freely once every 7 days1, changed from once every 24 hours 2 due to concerns about the effect of free transfers on world versus world. Once server populations have largely settled and stabilized, world transfers will be restricted to once a week and cost a variable amount of gems based on the population of the world being transferred to: 500, 1,000 or 1,800 (for low, medium, or high population, respectively)3 In addition, after changing to a new home world, players will lose their power of the Mists bonuses until the beginning of the next World versus World match.
So, 200 gems wouldnt cover it anyways

Also, as been asked a few times before: when I miss an Act (lets say this particular Act 3), because I can’t log in for 3 days, will I be able to finish it when Act 4 hits? Or do I not only miss this ‘final event’ (now sceduled 3 days earlier), but the Halloween chain-quest as well?
oh, and I forgot: for not-native English speakers (like me), it is very difficult to know the difference between: botting, spamming and scamming. Add to that people who aren’t familiar with gamelanguage (like me), and you have another difficulty to overcome. Just a simple Goldseller option would be great.
Add my vote to this.
Plus its kinda scary that if you report someone, you get a different name (accountname, the one with the numbers) from the one you are actually reporting, so there is a chance you report the wrong one (when chat moves very fast), and there is no way to check if you got the right one, apart from clicking it back to check. :P
I really would like Anet to only use our charnames in game; no one needs to know my accountname anyways, only people I choose to tell.

I agree, waypoints are too expensive and its not good for the game, especially when it comes to social aspects and the high stated fun; I really have to think twice when a friend asks for help and I am at a completely other map, it takes me ages to get there (or lots of money, which I dont have).
Its not fun.
Maybe it would be better if you handled the travel prices the same as real life travel prices: not based on level but based on distance only, counted from all main cities or something. (That way if I die on top of a waypoint, it wont cost me nearly 2 silver, but only a few coppers.)
And please dont make it a gemstore item!
