I finally found a little niche to use my crafting skill to make money! I can buy the mats, craft the items, and sell them for a tidy profit (about 9-10s each). The nice thing too is that the mats are fairly heavily traded so I can get my buy orders filled quickly. Then when I have my final product, it has sold on the market in about 2 minutes each time.

I was someone who had rotten luck trying to make money in the past. I stuck with it, did some research and tried a lot of different things. Now I feel much better about making money in gw2.

Now if I can find a few more areas to diversify into, I think I will be pulling money much more reliably out of the TP.

I had the same issue. I only found (and used) one key. Then I came up to the other locked door. I just put a call out on the map chat if anyone had any dwarven keys. A guy answered the call, met me at the door and we cleared it out together.

It was a lot of fun and he is someone that I run with now whenever we are both online. You may also hear people answer that have the key with no idea what it does.

As of this post, the event starts in 3 hours and 45 minutes.

I run a Wells/Marks build using Staff/Scepter-Warhorn. On land I can regularly take on 6-7 risen mobs in Cursed Shore with no issues. Underwater is a different story. If I get more than maybe 2 mobs, I get slaughtered.

I think a big part of the problem is condition removal. It seems like all our condition removal/transfer skills are not usable underwater. Anyone else notice this? If so, what adjustments have you made to deal with it?

Finally beat it after about 2 hours.

The west coast is currently on Pacific Daylight Time (PDT). As of this posting, it is about 8am PDT.

There have been a lot of posts saying the Act III starts at Noon Pacific Standard Time (PST). That would be incorrect as the switch from PDT to PST doesn’t happen until November 4th. This would be a problem for our friends outside the States because PST is UTC-8:00 and PDT is UTC-7:00.

I live in Milwaukee on Central Time so for me the event starts at 2:00pm.

I am in Spys Sappin Mah Guild Name [RED]. We have about 480 members and are quite active in wvw. Unfortunately 480 is not really that much in the grand scheme of things.

Fergie is definitely steamrolling us and that was basically beginning on day 2. Even with a much better turnout for the start of a new wvw reset, we couldn’t come close to matching numbers with them.

Then, unfortunately, after the scores got so lopsided a lot of folks give up and just use wvw to loot and scoot.

Maybe the solution is to have anet sort people into servers when they first start up the game based on population. Then they get one free transfer if they want to coordinate being on the same server as their friends.

One word here: Epidemic

It is a utility that aoe bursts all the conditions of your target to everything in a very large radius. I tag EVERYTHING with my necro.

Now the downside is that I frequently find myself dodging like a madman while 5-10 mobs aggro the kitten out of me.

Goodbye pack of mobs. I also have the trait that leaves a mark of blood when I dodge so I dodge into the corrosive cloud for good measure.

I feel like I would have liked to have been able to get the second book about 10 levels earlier (30 instead of 40). I think you should be able to stay focused in 2 trait lines if you would like.

As it is now you end up with unspent trait points waiting for the second book. Either you don’t use them or you just plug them into the other trait lines. That seems like a waste if you know what you want your focus to be and it also sort of builds in an additional cost to reset your trait points when you get a new book.

It is all about the discovery tab. Even if you don’t have use for what you are making or it doesn’t sell well, you should still try to discover all the recipes just for the bulk exp gain.

The Flesh Golem needs some help. It doesn’t always go after what you are targeting, sometimes there is a delay before it starts swinging. The charge attack WAY overshoots the target, often drawing aggro from other mobs. It is also an aggro machine. If there is another mob in sight (but not aggro’d) the golem will engage it immediately after your target goes down. It would be nice if there was a command to stop the Flesh Golem’s attack.
