So something that says account bound but not soulbound CAN be given to an alt even if I wear it? (example the ring and 20-slot box we got at the event).

How could you do quested instances? I Mean I guess I don’t know how big some people’s groups were, but I swear we needed every signle person we had!

I was there from begining to end but got killed away form the main zeg and had to run back. I got lost and didn’t get there in time for the last defeat the Krakkan phase…I was thiiiissss close. But, didn’t land a hit on him on that last death kill but it counted me and gave me the goodies and I’m grateful for that.
Listening to chat alot of people got d/c’d and missed out andthat seems a shame, very much. I jsut wanted to say i was glad I didn’t get in-eligible for missing two minutes of a two hour even.

She gives you suggestions of three people to vist, one of which is the Quaggan. If I did the QUaggen, do I need to visit the other two people as well?

There are clear differences between the two games, that’s for sure! The instances zones stand in stark contrast to the dynamic events. BUt, I’m finding it enjoyable enough

It was kinda funny. I got my first quest reward in the game and it gave me 10 gold. I was like I’M RICH…..OMG…!!! My level 80 has like mebbe 15 gold to her name in gw2

Well, I’ve since added Nightfall to my account I created and am actually having a good time in gw and look foreward to seeing if i can progress on my goals.
Stupid question, but is there a way to see the points I’m acruing so I can keep track? For example, I linked some accounts and such and should have points for that.

Actually the hair doesn’t bother me really, I’m fine with it looking blonde. I think it’s a better blonde then their platnium which can look too grey. But, the clothes….hoping after I get out of starter outfits, it’ll look better

I dunno, I’ve taken some outfits in real life into some wide variations of lightings and not seen them go through sucn a big change.
I mean, I"m glad to know it’s not my graphics card, but I’ll be lying if I didn’t say I want the colors to look more along the lines of what I was ecpecting.

I have characters with lilac hair and now a newly created character with light blue hair but darned if I can tell Also, the difference between what the hero screen shows as her outfit and what it is in the world is vastly different. Is this a settings issue or graphics card issue or am I expecting too much?

At first I was a bit intimidated by the scope of the chore, esp since I’ve enver played GW1 and most of what was being said was completely alien to me (Heroes?), but the write-up above was pretty comprehnsice and let’s me feel a little less overwhelmed. Leaving the only question I guess, (which may not have an answer) is can a newly created account still qualify. THere was an old quote form adev saying they didn’t WANT people like me to come from GW2 to go into GW1 soley to get these items. So, that they would be special to loyal fans, which I can understand.

What’s invovled in getting the 25 or so points in gw1 to then get the rewards over here in gw2. Wondering if…one is nuts and wants all the ranger pets..if this is a viable road to travel

I keep seeing candy corn nodes but if I go up to them or spin a bit, they disappear. Itr’s kinda odd?

I handle the puzzles very simply. I call my daughter and she does them. I do not have the skills or the patience and she does. She LOVES them. In fact, last night, I sent her to a zone area I knew had a puzzle and turned her loose. She located the puzzle, did the puzzle and had a blast. It’s a win for everyone. I feel no regrets for having not done them myself.
Usually I try them first for awhile, fail and then when I get frustrated turn it over to her.

I’m kind of upset about that one too. I don’t mind the tower jump puzzle, which I could just ignore. But I killed the MK twice and was never able to make it to the chest. I think it stinks to screw people over like that.

First of all, I’m such a bad jumper, I add that to my LFG messages when wanting to get into this dungeon, so I’m not being snarky at all.
But, at worst you should be able to fling yourself to the island the chest is on and get revived by someone at the bottom. I know I’d stand there and wait for you….

I enjoyed it. I"ve not been brave enough to join a group since I began playing. Little bit shy, don’t jump well and don’t use voice. But, after the cutscen, I added my LFG to the mix, got into a pug and it wasn’t so hard or off-putting that a kitten me couldnt do it and feel I was bringing the group down. And yet, sitll feel like it was a good time. Rewards-whatever. It wasn’t why I came, I came for the fun.

If I weren’t addicted to purple that would be a most excellent option Was hoping for one that fed my addiction!

I have a human outfit that looks like feathers. I have a bow that also looks like feathers, but I can’t dye my bow to match the color of feathers in my outfit. I’d like to Any chances they might add that option?

I didn’t get my 3/5 until I left the rumbler area. I’d done everything else, that was the last thing and it ticked over after I left.

PS I"m kind of a nob. If I add a rune to a piece of gear and want to switch to new gear. Can you get the rune back?
ANd does an exotic rune have to go on a exotic piece of armor?

THe runes, when you have all 6, spawn ravens when you cast your elite spell. AS a ranger, I really like this. Is it the only armor that does that?

I tried the two pvp mini-games (rumbler and lunatic) and as far as PV goes, ti was fairly tame. THere wasn’t any taunting or griefing. Just people running around trying ti kill each other which isn’t much different form what the mobs try to do to me
And no one laughed when I died kitteny deaths

I am weaing the new act 2 book, but I don’t see it on my toon. I checked to see if the little box was checked and it was hidden, but it’s not.
Is it because I have long hair?

Looking at the recipes, I’m wodnering if I should jsut sell the recipes and rarers mats I’ve been getting? It seems like there’s no way I’d ever collect what’s needed…and I"m not saying that negativly or for pity, just a statement of fact. Rather then cluttering up my bags with ingredients I’dlikley not use, wonder if it would be better to sell?

There wasn’t an arrow. I think that’s why I didn’t notice it for so long. They were jsut blank boxes…and I guess it never struck me that there should be something in those spots. I assumed udnerwater was different. It was a thread comparing classes underwater elites that made me wonder why I didn’t have one and start clicking on them one day….

When underwater you should be able to click on the indivual boxes where the spells would be and it pulls up the choices of spells you can use underwater. Just click on all the boxes and fill them up! Not sure exactly where you click in the box…it’s the upper right corner when changing the spell you want to use.

I was pretty weak in water but it was my own fault. I didn’t realize I had to set up the last few skills on the right as I leveled up, so I was like level 60 before I thought it was weird I had no under water elites and actually looked into the matter. It’s better now

Since the puzzle is apparently unavailable once you complete the associated Heart, I wanted to get it right and see what the end result was, so I turned to Google… and found nothing. The only reference to anything related to this puzzle is a nearby NPC, that suggests seeing if you can get the nearby Asuran Console working, and that was an orphan link on the official wiki.

According tothe wiki one can get to the straits of devestation from Gendarran Fields. Does anyone know how? They don’t SEEM to be connected. What I need is a travel map, one that shows connections!

My first character was a human and I knew nothing about the game when I started. I didn’t know what karma was, what it was for, or anything. I ran around and rescued like everyone I coul until it seemed likeda silly and I loved on the story. I think I maybe got 100 karma points. I was kinda disappointed to run thorugh again today and noticed I got no karma for saving people.
Was it really a big farming issue? I guess it had to be for them to change it. Still, that bit of karm earned made me feel proud.

Agreed, I wasn’t expecting eq2 style faction runs, though something else would ahve been nice. I wan’ted to really feel my faction choice. I can’t afford their gear, so I’m a shabby represenative of their faction at this point

If I read the conversation right, I did ONE quest after being initiated into my order and I was promoted to the highest rank?
Wow, that was kind of a let down. After years of EQ2 and faction grinding, I expected…..a bit more. I thought I’d be traveling the maps, going into dungeons, looking for lore for my order, Isntead, I help alittle bit and I’m promoted that fast…..I was kind of let down. Is there more to faction then that?

I found this as well after doing the skill challenge. I looked all over to see if there was anything further, like a jumping puzzle. I didn’t, but it was kind of fun to follow along with the spirit and watch this unfold.

The lack of tracking quest completion…which it doesn’t have quests, so clearly can not track them I like seeing a list in my journal of completed events that show me I’ve hot xx of xx possible events in this zone.
For bragging rights? Mebbe, I don’t think so, but because it gives me a sense of satisfaction. I wish they would emvrace some sort of system. I would love to see a % completion of Vista, POI’s etc AND events/hearts.
Course then I’d likely root for events to fail so I coulf see those quest chains

i dont like this dr thing either. last night i did a whole area which im pretty much doing one area daily. i got that dr message like 4 times and i wasnt farming anything but merely killing enemies on my way to each exploration point and just exploring. so i guess im being punished for playing the game as intended.

Is there a message that pops up that says you are under the influence of DR?
