Well I think the devs need to check this out for themselves in-game. Not listen to me or anyone else and see how they are playing out in PvP. It’s clear to me that this class needs balancing, and I can’t say that any other class I’ve fought is as out of whack as a necro at the moment. It’s the only class that if multiple members are present equals auto win.
Warrior rampage was another one, but that got nerfed and rightly so.

About 1/3 match I play I guy decide to leave in either team, this is very kittening annoying as it means the other team just gank for the rest of the match basically.
That could be simply fixed by appling a coward debuff to players that leave an arena making them unable to join any game for 30 minutes and a visual indicator that shows their unreliability during that time.

@nassau “Help I’ve fallen and I can’t get up!” I also don’t know why that one suspicious clone does other stuff than auto attack. iZerker is the phantasm that does the spinning attack at you in melee range- don’t dodge in the direction that it’s moving or it will usually catch you at the end. Have you tried making a Mesmer just to look at the strong weapon skills? Mesmers are strong but it’s not because of hiding beside clones or just the phantasm.
I have 500 spvp matches on mesmer, thank you. Also, I disagree. Mesmers are extremely weak damage-wise. They cannot kill a LIGHT armor elementalist 1v1 and have to rely on a gank to kill it. But that is not really an issue of mesmers, is it? Good morning to the wonderful A N E T.

This OP mesmer phase has actually one advantage: all the bad players in this game are finally learning to play!
Doon, apart from the blind, nothing you listed is new. Mesmers were balanced (UP even), while doing exactly that. The new PU trait is a bit too strong (not that much considering you run no condi removal at all in that build though). And no, mesmers can not burst from range. GS2 deals no damage at long range, so they are either forced to melee you, or Blink, which is a rather long CD and their only stun breaker (in the mantra build). Compare that to the thief’s Steal (21s CD) or Shadow Shot (0s CD). So if you are to get bursted, it’s gonna be in melee range. Beware!

Reading these threads, I understand why Anet takes so long to patch: some players are still adapting, not even knowing what the builds do! Pro tip: just like pre-patch, everyone was forced to learn thief, ele or warrior to counter them, you need to play a mesmer and finally understand why you die.

So if you are to get bursted, it’s gonna be in melee range. Beware!
A bunch of words that mean absolutely nothing. First of all, you can’t see the mesmer when he is in stealth (maybe you can) and therefore you can’t know when he is in melee range. And even if he is visible, you can’t tell easily which is the player and which is the clone. “Good” players (and you of course!) IMMEDIATELY spot the player amongst its clones. Let’s say that is … true. And that he is in melee range. When is the spike coming? What should we “beware” about? You are not enlightening us. But I guess the mystery in life is the juice.

I have a better solution for this problem. And any problem for that matter. You have to go to the root of it. What is the cause? Answer: ANET. Therefore, when ANET shuts down and the game is run by another company, the problem will be immediately fixed. Everything else, is for forum battles.
Thieves having so much stealth doesn’t bother me because they actually have to come in to burst you in melee range and while in stealth they are not a threat. However mesmers can burst from range in stealth? Not to mention when they go stealth, they have clones and phastasm doing damage to you? And when you finally lock them down they can teleport or go invulnerable? And they can cc you like crap? And blind you too? Heck they can even just turn you to a Moa and render your class mechanics useless. Why not give mermers high armor and hp while you at it, Anet. It’s ridiculous how much advantage one class has.
Even though Mesmers can do all that, it wouldn’t bother me if they did not have so much access to stealth. Instead of stealth, mesmers should just swap positions with clones.
The mesmers have so much stealth because … they are a creation of ANET. I think this pretty much covers it.
And on an effort to prevent my post from being deleted because i “insulted” the almighty A N E T, play a stone heart ele and not even the baddest superhero superfast macro mesmer will be able to get you below 80% health.
I believe that fractal rewards should be exclusive to fractals… If they were to implement this idea they would have to introduce a quest for PVE players to get Glorious Armor and a Vendor for both PVE and PVP players to buy mistforged weapons with just Gold.
I’d like the creation of a fractal reward track in pvp which enables us to choose a fractal skin at the end of the track.
I’ve done more than a 100 fractals and i’ve always wanted to have a fractal greatsword skin so i was wondering if it could be possible to create an alternative way to obtain those skins.

Speaking as a player, I feel it would be best if you quit playing GW2 for a while. Based on your posts recently, you have no interest or desire in playing the game, you have nothing to contribute to any discussion just bashing ANET and GW2 in general.
Nothing wrong with negativity but be constructive about it, and since you have not shown the ability to do so based on your last few posts, it may be best for you to take a break from the game and play something else till you are able to enjoy Guild Wars 2.

Unless youre on teamspeak with an organized group (or just high level ranked pvp) there is little to no counter play to these elites (for most classes, I’m aware of some tricks.)
Its not fun to play against. Not even very fun to use (long cd skills where you end up mostly AAing…) except initially because of the powerful feel.
While looking at elites with HoT please look at ALL of them. Please re-work into something more interesting that is both fun to use and fun to play against.
At the very least, nerf the auto attack, and make the other skills more reliable and powerful to use, so that there is some skill in these elites.
Rampage is ridiculously overpowered, and if they pop resistance, even more so.
Lich form is too, buuut …… play a staff ele and pop earth skill number 3. I am sure it will make you smile.
This has been brought up before about separate queues and what not. It’s a pretty heated discussion. Some people feel that we should only play Conquest and adding anything else ruins the game. A few others believe that there should be seperate queues but not for Ranked as that will increase the time in the queue way too long for Conquest.
Give it a few hours and I’m sure you will see what i mean.

I would make a few changes:
1. Ether renewal as the healing skill – immensely powerful at healing and removing conditions and with a fast recharge
2. Armor of Earth instead of the invulnerable form
3. Tornado as the elite to have an active defense against rampagers that don’t use resistance and the glyph for all other situations
Also try the earth trait instead of the fire one for a more bunky build (stone heart <3)
If you want nothing nerfed, then you don’t want anything buffed either and therefore everything is totally balanced. Since everything is balanced then, why do you want to discuss special strategies of dealing with certain builds? It should be as clear as the balance on how to deal with everything.
Because there is a difference in having balanced classes and builds. There is Always a certain meta or group of builds that are viable. or that counter other builds.
Balance by definition=/=equal builds. in games such as these there is Always a certain kind of meta or group of builds with several branches of said builds that are viable in the competetive scene. I feel that the problems lies more with builds, then actual balancing. I feel most of the issues can be resolved by looking creating builds appropiate with the most recent balance patch. Builds that do not get you 50 frigging stacks of burning rewarding you with 50 k burn damage, or somehow bieng required to use 2 or 3 people to kill a single elementalist. or getting 20 k mesmer bursted just like that or somehow bieing at the mercy of constant stuns. even tough the average mesmer has 2 to 3 daze’s and maby 1 perhaps 2 additional cc skills. spread over 2 weapon sets. When i hear stories like that i think this goes beyond simple balance issues.
I’m not against balance, I’m agains unneeded balance due lots of QQ: nerf classes in full, and stuff like that. people suggest for mesmer to not even have stealth. That’s like asking for a warrior to not use a friggin hammer. Or like a guardian to not use aegis.
I’m against ridiculous shavings like that.
BTW why are you guys doing the very kitten thing I wish to prevent? So far only 2 other people volunteerd to showcase thier builds.

Dude listen, I’m not asking anybody to do to do A-net’s work. I’m asking you and anybody else to adapt. that’s all. A net made balance changes, No this was a complete overhaul, of the pvp scene, no, not just the pvp scene, pve and wvw as well. If that’s case you cannot merely expect the classes to work in the excact same way they did pre patch right? So what do you have to do? U start from scratch and create builds that allow you to function with this patch. It has already begun, A new meta is bieng created right before our very eyes, as we are speaking. I will again go to the examples such as getting 50 kittening stacks of burning or, getting perma stunned 20 k bursted by mesmers. That in my eyes is something that lies on you mostly. I’m not asking the burn guardians or mesmers tone down thier builds, No I’m asking them to communicate with the players that feel that they are going down under the weight and perhaps discuss the possibility of new builds capable of bieng viable in the current pvp scene, even against mesmers and elementalists. And How the hell do I prove that the builds are overpowered? U are picking and choosing here, It’s circular reasoning. The question here is. Overpowered Builds or Is your build simply not good enough,? Bluntly said ofcourse. And not meant to be an insult. When you know that post patch burns are now intensity stacked and conditions as a whole are easier to apply. U actually do something about it. Not try the same thing you did as before and expect it to work? Then don’t come crying about 50 stacks of burning when A-Net announced this already. You all knew things were gonna change.
And asking for mesmers to not have stealth, or 25 to sometimes even 50 kittening percent damage shaving on runes or mesmer shatter. Is something I will never agree. The elementalist can survive forever and in the end kill the mesmer with burning and all the aoe and might stacking. So, between those two, I would say that the ele is overpowered.
Have you ever played a cele staff ele? You’re not going to kill anything 1v1 in under 2 mins (1v1s above this don’t happen in matches)
Yes, for the past 500 tpvp matches, thank you. You’d be surprised how much I actually kill 1v1 … and 1v2. Especially mesmers.
Without the smallest bit of fanboyism, the process of approving Gem rewards turns out to be extremely time consuming. So much so that to complete each request as it comes would drastically cut into meetings and project time.
Clearly it’s not ideal, and as players, all hope that it gets either delegated or automated in at least some small measure.
Fault the process not the Arenanet employees

mesmers are way better. faster play style
When super kitten instant spike mesmers face a staff ele, they have to rely on reinforcements to kill it. Otherwise, the “slower play style” ele will kill them eventually.
You should try the celestial staff build. You will absolutely love it. Immensely powerful at surviving and support … and killing stuff if played well to stack some might and burning.
The only build that can really hurt you is the overpowered rampage warrior and only if you don’t time your dodges well. Otherwise, you will only die if focused by 2-3 other players with a good spike. 1v1 should be a piece of cake.
And now I bet they will ban me from the forums for a couple of days because i write negative things about them, lol
The ONLY viable option is “block”. ANET does not care for anything else.
Let’s assume ANET does indeed implement a feature of reporting people that go away from the keyboard. What makes you think that such reports will be even adressed? Right now, there are NUMEROUS people in the game that have been reported for verbal abuse, and keep doing exactly that ….
