Just go for bers reaper or marauder when tanking. Condi necro is fun, but his dps is far lower

GS is not pvp weapon, deal with it. For me they can even reducee the GS dmg in pvp by 90% if this allow aNet to buff necro in PvE even more

Necro was always viable. Don’t listen to “necro has no utility bla bla, no group support bla bla, no dps bla bla”. Necro is the best class for pug runs as u can heal, buff and just keep yourself alive while other classes are trying to surive and crying because warrior did not stack enough might for them
Viable? Sure. Optimal? Far from it. That hasn’t changed.
Why not? Might u have from warrior, reflect from guard, fury from eles. U do not need more utility. Moreover, Necro is far better choose than second ele.
GW2 is easy game u don’t have to make a epic team comps to kill bosses 10s faster.
Ps. Before u gonna QQ that GW2 is a hard game that needs knowledge and bla bla bla. Lv 100 fract is the hardest dung in the game now, u can make it easily with pug. EoT.

I don’t trust these calculations. They are odd. 11k DPS? It is far to small. U should link your traits as there must be some misplaced traits
Ps. I am happy that Bers gear is still the best choose for dps.

Dps meter won’t help. That is because necro is doing like 5-10% less dps than top tier classes and noone cares that we have 3 times higher uptime in fights
Ps. But i still do love dps meters. It just makes the dps role to be more compete and fun, at least for me.

20k-30k hits but no 30k dps because it needs 2 sec to perform 1 gravedigger.
1.5s, not 2 Btw. On raids we don’t have to support others. Necro can just focus on dps there. Support stuff leave for eles, guardiands, druids and heralds though

Yeah 20k. Below 50% hp necro gravedigger spam is doing around 30k dps (each Gravedigger hits for 29-40k on raids). So even if necro is doing 10k dps before that, we still have 20k dps overall

Seems like an uneducated post. With zerks, RS, and DD (along with fury, discipline banner, food etc) you would end up with a maxed out 100% crit chance and therefore wasted stats. With raids being the most difficult content we’re most likely going to need to incorporate toughness/vitality gear into the mix. That is why soldier/valkyrie (my personal favorite)/cavalier are much more appealing now.
Wrong. This stat would be lost only if u would be able to sit in the Shroud all the time. In practive, u won’t be able to be in the shroud for more than 50-60% time of the fight. So 40% or even 50% of time u gonna sit there without crit chance. Berserker is always the best option for dps

Again, short, booring and easy as hell living story. Why this game is so kitten easy ;/ I understand that clicking 4 buttons can be to hard. But ending the whole event in 1h~ only by following the group? I even didn’t had to use spells, just AA. I though they’ll add new dung, with few cool lvls, but nope. Again grinding event This game suck, totally.

do this in normal run Probably it’s even not possible to do it in normal dung. With full zerg gear i’m hitting like 4.5k~/bomb in arah.
Azura’s got golems, lasers and teleport gates. Humans and norns got bows, swords and armors, sylvari are walking flowers. So try to destroy us, ha ha.
Ps. IMO only Charrs are smart enough to do anything vs Azuras. But, they’re just bigger cats, so who cares about them !

IMO last living story was really cool… This one could be little less fun, but, they add a great achi rewards So now achi is worth to do.

Tell me, why u should be stronger in range fight, than ranger, necro, guardian, engi,ele, mesmer? Thiefs got the best melee dps, so to balance it u got the weakest range

Our Downed skills, are one of the best to survive while other trying to ress us / buying time.
1. Cool dmg
2. Great long interupt. If u cast it in last sec, u would be able to cast your 3 spell.
3. AoE knock back. Meh

There’s no point in doing a mix gear. With this setup u aren’t a good tank, dps or support. So what are u? If u are skilled, and know how to dodge / when to use kits, u rly no need to get so much survir. Especially when u want to use Rifle as your main weapon.
I’m using zerk gear for the beggining and usually i’m dying as last one
Ps. If u want cool SD build for PvE. Try zerk gear, new trait for rifle. And tool belt skills, i’m using riffle turet, tool kit and Personal Battering Ram. It have a huge dmg already Without full gear (i got only 80% crit rate and 40% crit rate, so it gonna be far higher) rifle is doing 3k AA, SD criting for 2k~ and tool belts spells are criting for about 5k. So if we compare it with their low CD and our Rifle 5->3->4 Combo, engineers got already rly huge dmg

Yes, it’s normal. Idk which class you play, neither your equip, but I bet if you’ve managed to hit him, you would have kitten him ^-^
BTW, I was talking about sPvP, WvW is another fact (you have to consider equip, lag and so on…)
