well for me everything was fine until until this huge WvW patch . Then crashing like crazy . Just tried playing without sound today and looks like its ok again , no crash all day . Pity because I love music in GW2 :/

after last update my game crashing every 5 minutes while doing verdank Brink map nigh events , so annoying . Verdant Brink isnt even in LFG when u would love to join same map after crashed

Really ? I totally disagree , it should cost some money because bank/bags slols are one of the source of money for Devs , and I really love to have this game working for long time , so for f2p game it’s how it suppose to be.

For a game with such huge zones, it was a surprise to learn there are no mounts.
Clearly, a way to move 2-3 times faster would be a great boon. Why do we not have them?

You can have speed buff for each class , so no need for mounts in GW2 , As soon as you have opened waypoints on maps you can travel fast , way faster than in same other games with mounts system

Many weapon skins exist in the game. Yet with a few exceptions, all the items I find are the simplest versions. They should be tiered. Like lvl 0-10; uses this skin, lvl 10-20 uses that, etc. It’s kinda stupid to keep finding the same iron greatsword /iron chainmail at any level only with better stats.

Looks like you don’t really understand about skins in GW2 at all .

Make them permanent. It’s an annoyance to run out, or spend cash on fancy versions from the item shop – which I understand still cost copper to use.

And about damage and that everything is difficult to play/survive for you ?
Well , it’s all about learning class you are playing , I am great on my 2 mains, but struggle a lot with alts I don’t play often .

I’ve done all elite spec with all classes , even with those I am not really good , like an Engineer.
And nope , I am not hardcore player.
It took me 2-3 hours of each class. Never had problem with any Hero point , just asked in map chat and there were always people ready to join me.
Or i joined a squad from LFG and they were doing all map , so with some classes i have 1 or 2 whole map achi done.
Honestly , I don’t understand lazy gamers like you , what is the fun to log in to the game and have everything handed to you on a plate?

Well , if they played the game, eventually they would get higher AP level too.
It shouldn’t be any AP cap at all . AP rewards should be for all players that are playing this game , especially that some of those rewards , like fire chest , is long time goal.
AP cap is like punishment for active veteran players

I don’t think the masteries are grindy – BUT I think your idea would make them so. I used my mesmer to do most of my masteries because he provided me with good mobility, stealth and a portal that provided insurance where I needed it.

If I had to complete the masteries your way (as I understand it) it would have been tedious, unenjoyable and very, very, very grindy.

I could play and earn all masteries with my main and favorite character , way easier to do specialization achievements later with my alts.
I don’t feel it was grind , rather the goal , reason I logged to GW2 every day and had fun.
I believe only people that want everything “NOW” , feels masteries as a grind

That just means you can’t play mesmer at all and not that HoT needs to be nerfed.
Mesmer is my main , quite easy to play even solo in HoT . Same fun and easy I have with my Necro.
But that’s it , I am rather struggling with my other alts , just because I’m not the same good with them as I am with my mesmer and necro

So please stop complaining and learn more how to play some proffesions and not ask to nerf the entire content

Look, I have mained mesmer for 5k hours and been in game since late 2012 earl 2013. I’ve done wvw GvG group fights, I’ve roamed and dueled. I’ve spvpd. I’ve pved. Mesmer as a class is amazing, without how much damage or how much dots or conditions aside, mesmer as a class offers interesting ways to disengage enemies and engage the environment. That being said mesmer since the first days has been gutted over and over. Hence we are called veil bots or portal bots. People only care about us because of our utilities, which themselves are being replaced by other classes. Scrappers stealth gyro works way better than veil or mass invisibility. We have had our endurance nerfed, our vigor nerfed, our staff had been nerfed 3x and maybe more. Our focus hasn’t been fixed. Our alacrity which is the bread and butter, the foundation of chronomancer was gutted, wells were nerfed. On top of that our confusion and torment nerfed gutted and also given to other classes. Torment alone was nerfed several times pre and post HoT. Our Ai pets (phantasms/clones) are good in 1v1 or small groups but large scale fights we are only useful as portal or veil bots (were since wvw is dead). Our condition damage has been nerfed. You will never know what fear truly is or was, since you’ll never experience a true confusion glamour mesmer, or a rabid pistol torch mesmer. Or even an immortal retaliation mesmer. Mesmer is on life support at the moment, and as a proud owner of 2 female human mesmers I proudly salute and await our demise. Go read the mesmer forums, go read the pvp forums, the wvw forums. If your logic were to stand ground we should ban human females and asuras because there’s way too many of them in game. Mesmers are a fun class that few ever truly master because it has a high skill cap, but it’s interesting enough that most can enjoy even in basic settings such as JPs.

But Anet has in several situations made an alternate “the right thing”, where you need an event to fail – to progress, get a better reward, get an achievement, etc… This is wrong in more than one way. It pits players against each other, and it rewards failure. It’s bad design, and has generated a lot of toxicity. And yet they keep doing it. Why?!?
