I think it would be great qol improvement if we can unlock skins if we use them in mystic forge. It just happens that i can not equip some weapons at certain moments because i’m not on appropriate class.
I really don’t see a downside if that becomes available.

But also almost every post of yours in this forum is kinda pessimistic and in negative connotation. You stated several times that warrior has no place in Spvp now , that warrior is only worth because of rampage and that all classes can beat warrior with minor to medium difficulty. I do not have these issues.

I won’t try anymore to justify this build to someone that thinks that warrior has no place in spvp. But i hope you change your mind about warrior spvp place in general.
Still i appreciate your input on this.

I only cap close and mid. Far only if no one bothers to cap in team. For mobility there is a warrior sprint only. Since GS mobility is nerfed i don’t see a reason to take it anymore.
Against engies rely on blocks, berserker stance and interupts. Destroy turrets if any. CC and daze to keep them in check.
For mobile condi eles pop rampage. The burst you want comes from rampage i mentioned that earlier.

Again i suggest you to try the build. I can’t cover all situations that happen is spvp here.

It’s not supposed to crit. It’s not supposed to tank. Only power. Strength Traitline is used for peak performance.

The massive damage comes from rampage. I though everyone was aware of that by now. I took distracting strikes only for minor condi pressure.

Eh your assumptions are wrong. I suggest you actually try build.
Damage is ok. Rampage is source for even more damage if needed. The amount of stun lock is to prevent kiting, but again i’m capping circles not chasing.

This is not supposed to be bunker.
I’m not even gonna comment on “Mesmer can stand outside of the circle for 5 seconds to kill you”.

I don’t have issues with conditions. Lots of interruptions also reduce the amount of conditions applied.

Heightened focus is somehow a must. I find the cooldown on merciless hammer is unnecessary cause you got plenty of rupts at disposal. Most of the time i’m on the mace/shield set.

Can’t go brawler’s cause i need every bit of dmg so i can actually kill.

Shield is a must because Shiled Stance. It’s priceless for illusion spikes, necros when they go shroud and leeroy zerker thieves and warriors for their spike. Also you can hold point longer.

-Taking Cleansing ire over Last Stand is bad for following reason : No lower CD on 3 stances and no extra vigor. For condition management there is berserker stance for initiation, signet for heavy condi spikes (burning ++3) and melandru runes for mitigation of lesser condies.

-Adrenaline management (due to lack of cleansing ire) is achieved from B. stance, Frenzy and Countering Blow. Countering blow is so spammable that you can build up some adrenaline while going from cap point to cap point.

-Frenzy is needed to land a Skull Crack due to its initial delay and super obvious animation. Altho i usually time it after shield bash if they don’t stunk break away (mesmers)

-Yep, paralyzation sounds better.

Are you aware that you can just kite until stability / rampage is over? Cooldown on stability skills on war are ~40-60 sec. And you can not always trait / use stability skills because all the condition pressure.
Don’t tell how to counterplay from mesmer perspective. Roll other classes and then talk.

You don’t need shield in pve at all.

I leaped, i leaped again. Hey i cant leap anymore and that’s nice.

Take a warrior and go 1v1 on mesmer in wvw, hell even spvp in certain maps. Then tell me again how i should learn weakness of mesmer class.
I am dealing with your illusions, clones, stealth, dodges, dazes, stun breaks and now the ridiculous dmg boost. And i have to keep constant pressure while trying to burst you to be effective.
If you fail you can just reset the fight and try again and warriors can’t keep up with you anymore because of the GS nerf.
And you are playing vs most telegraphed class in game. The warrior burst are like kitten cinema screen. Earthshaker, backbreaker, skull crack , eviscerate you name it.

OP would have a mental breakdown while playing Dota . I’m pretty immune to trash talking and even i am often forced to mute players on Dota cause they are distracting but i do not try to reach Gaben asking to remove all Russians cause they swear on russian and i googled what it means.

Hah July 7 notes. No tuning down mesmers. No changes to warrior mobility. I’ll take a huge break from warrior and just roll necro in spvp. It’s a disgrace what they made with warrior. It was the most balanced class always and ever in gw1 pvp. This here is just sad.

this is also affecting negatively eviscerate. Eviscerate with quickness will end in you jump in yourself. Too much loosing range this makes heightened focus be bad when using axe.

Also I need the friggin mobility back as it was. I can not catch anything. And blinkers / stealthers If they fail to win they can just reset fights. It’s not fair.

I’m talking about random encounters 1vs1 or 1vs2. I don’t have grip on what mesmers are currently running but something is knocking 30-40% of my HP in 1 hit ( having ~1800 toughness, sword/wh, hammer). They are running decoys and some new skill/trait that has distinct sound (like discharging something). By the time i pinpoint them among all illusions, phantasms and stealth my HP get knocked pretty fast. Before i had enough time to pinpoint them cause they didn’t deal this much dmg so fast but now i can not hold 2 sec still with them constantly pumping dmg.

Any advice? Or just suck it up and go with shield?

Probably someone mentioned this before but :

-Put the roof over a racial home instance and call it a Guild Hall.

-Remove ore mining from that cause god knows no one mines that.

-Add NPCs, furniture, bathroom and a quaggan (or skiritt) with a broom . Make it acquirable through gems and/or gold and/or merits depending what is bought.

-Maybe add weekly stuff where guild members will collect certain items from open world for certain stuff. I remember we did something similar in GW1 for some event but i can’t remember what (i’m not talking about Yakkington)

How will adrenaline behave if i swap weapons in the middle of execution?

For example , this situation : I leap with Earthshaker (or Eviscerate) and in the middle of animation i notice that opponent is dodging or activating stability buff or casting fear mark and then i swap to other weapon (if cooldown allows). What happens to adrenaline? Does it get consumed?

If it gets consumed then that’s some serious balance issue. I successfully predicted (or noticed) what opponent is going to do and there’s nothing i can do to prevent adrenaline punishment.

I don’t mind this adrenaline change, I can adapt, but loosing adrenaline on weapon swap during animation (where damage still isn’t triggered) is just ridiculous.

Only 1st place in each league receives a stack of finishers. The guy from Bronze that said he didn’t get finishers above corrected himself.

I think only the winning server of the different leagues gets the finisher. Deso players got the Silver Dolyak finisher, so I assume that the winning server of Gold league gets the Gold Finisher, and the same for Bronze league with the Bronze Finisher

EB keep defended against all odds in this early morning. Was fun.

It won’t make TA armor parts metalic. It seems only happens with charr versions. Norn TA armor works normally with jugger.

Got a problem with Deso? Fight for it and bring it to the game, not on the forum. Deso fought against Vizunah for months which looked like a lost battle, atleast we never lost our fighting spirit, even after being close to free fall thrice. Not many servers can say the same.

Fighting on field? Now don’t go ahead of yourself there, you admitted you’re weak in primetime (check several posts in this thread). Gandara and FS guilds are far stronger. Unless you consider “fighting” the door when other people are asleep or at work.

Also if you read thread from beginning , it’s an epic saga from heavy tanking denial, to admitting tanking before finally settling for “we dropped into silver league”.

Well, you got significant lead now with your nightcap and secured your win. Maybe it wouldn’t be so drastic if FS bothered to recap (just recaping not defending) their garrison and hills/bay from time to time, but that’s them. It’s kinda relaxing now that we won’t have to look at scoreboard and point tick. I’ll take comfort in extra strong steamroll in primetime, no capping , just killing.

Ain’t exactly an alliance, more like ceasing fire. I remember a matchup with deso and Abba (long before the league) where Abbadon held t3 SM that was very sieged. We nor deso couldn’t breach it easily. So we camped their keep while deso was working on reseting SM. Easier then to spend 1-2h trebbing and chopping off bricks at wall.

Gonna keep the story short : no one likes you because you blob. When you blob you’ll gain temporary advantage then either guild groups will, i quote, : “peel you like orange” or people will split to smaller groups of 10-15 and go to other borderlands so you won’t be able to keep up with ticks.

This. Today we reseted Hills and Bay together with AM on Ag bl today. Cause T3 bay/hill is a no no in prime time. We saw Am go for bay and we went hills, then switched, then switched again. No real ganking (except a bit for weekend on EB, u mad?)

So during the November 12th release, we rolled out a couple of changes that significantly reduced skill lag. One mostly targetted PvP and WvW, whereas the other was more high creature concentrated PvE areas.

Curious to see if you, as players, have noticed the impact (or haven’t noticed it because the game feels as it should). Of course WvW will still see occasional spikes during large 3-way encounters, but those a significantly shorter and the server can now recover from them almost immediately.

Needless to say, more improvements are well underway.

Yes, we were discussing at guild how skill lag was lower than before in mass fights at lord’s room. For me, skill lag is almost unnoticeable now and in mass fights you can actually blast stuff in 100 man clash after some delay and not only press 1 and hope it hits.. Altho there were reports by some players that their frequency of crashes increased presumably after you rolled those changes.

All in all very good job, it is very noticeable.

I hope that Gandara felt like they have achieved something, in this particulair fight.

As for camp defending/yak escort you got to have more imagination. I like to down the attacking invader (those poor poor yaks do not deserve that). Then i smack him down to 10% and watch him struggle trying to bandage himself on the ground. Just as he reaches 90% i smack him down to again to 10%. And so on until you break his spirit. Once he gives up stomp him at 10% so you get that points.
