Np at all. I can help you out with Destroyer or Tormented weapons (Destroyer being easier to get) as I think Ambraces are about 125-135ish Ecto for 1Ambrace. I find that doing campaigns to end game then repeating all the missions in Hard Mode is quite fast too. But I know that you can get your 30 points via only 1 campaign and if you aren’t going for GWAMM, then totally doable. Though my timezone might be way off from your own, in saying that, I can still trade you items in game that will help you out as well happy hunting ^^

I have helped out a few people to get their 30 points in HoM, really depends on how much time you can commit to playing the game and what points you want to go for (thus being said, I have helped those that have all campaigns)
If you ever need help with items let me know, I can help out any way that I can. I am on the slower titles atm as I am only sitting at 48/50 for HoM

Mine shows only HoT active on my accounts section and shows Guild Wars as a ‘buy’ option, even though I own all Guild Wars games. But my accounts are linked – bar from Guild Wars having the extra security of a character name needed to log in.
If you linked your accounts, then your Guild Wars should share the same log in details as your Guild Wars 2 account. Try it and you will know for sure

I just don’t understand why a Necromancer would use a ‘scythe’ in the first place. Considering in Guild Wars, it was for the Dervish Class, not Necromancer. After all it is just a weapon ‘skin’ you are still using a staff -_-

I am nearly finished with this title. I have 5 pieces left for tier 3 char and 4 pieces left to get for tier 3 sylvari.
I made a char character just for this purpose, they are level 2 hahaha. I just bought heavy armor in tier 1, tier 2 and only started on tier 3. I have done this with all races, but only ever purchased one ‘type’ pertaining to the character I am using to purchase it with, as I am only unlocking the skin while wanting the title, I sell the item back to the merchant. But I still need to make just over another 100g to finish it off, and when I do I will delete my char because I never liked them LOL

You can look at NCSoft’s Q4 report to get a vague idea of sale numbers and game health. In short, there’s a pretty good bump in numbers for GW2 in Q4. It doesn’t give you the number of HoT copies sold, but people are estimating it between 250k to 600k copies sold.

I honestly wouldn’t even look at what they sold, how much they made (even though I had heard it was less than they anticipated)

Either way, I will always prefer Guild Wars (for many reasons over this game). But at the moment I am having fun in Skyforge, being able to change between 13 different classes is my touch of variety. New game, new community, its all feeling new to me. I haven’t completely shelved GW2, just taking a break from it.

Each time you enter a map the mobs are always standing in the same spots or they are on their circuit. When I come out of Kamadan for example, I know there will be plant mobs at certain spots and where the bosses are standing.

True, but not for Prophecies when it comes to the bosses. When I got Legendary Skill Hunter, Prophecies took the longest (even though it has the least amount of elite skills to capture) because the bosses share their spawn spots with like 4 – 6 other bosses lol, but it was still fun.
I still play Guild Wars, and a couple of other games at present. At this stage I am done with this game. It use to be fun, now it just seems like another gated korean style grinding game.

They obviously can’t fix something they don’t understand themselves, and you can tell they don’t know anything about the issues with WvW. Almost seems like they stuck it in the ‘too hard to deal with’ basket. Sad really, only played it recently for WvW. Haven’t played for a while, no point since the WvW guild I am in is taking a break from WvW until this ‘overhaul’ is implemented. If that ever does happen in this century I just hope that I will still want to even bother to play anymore. For now, I am just playing a completely different and better and MUCH older game. It’s called Guild Wars…

I use to love this game and only log in for my daily reward and if I am in the mood a couple of pvp matches. The guild I am in is taking a break until the wvw overhaul, so really no point in playing much these days for me personally so now I playing Skyforge. On the bright side, a lot more people are heading back to Guild Wars, in all honesty there was only ever one Guild Wars.. idk what to even call this game anymore, but it definately isn’t guild wars 2

The new BL’s take forever to get around, no matter if it is walking, jumping, falling to your death off a cliff, pressing wrong buttons and getting into combat with the thousand pve mobs…. so yea I want the old BL’s back. Simple is good, simple is fun, walking across a desert dying to see a cafe so you can have a coffee… is not fun O_O

The game was fine when it first came out, now it is like.. a completely different game and I really don’t know where they intend to take it because their ‘focus’ seems all over the place. It just seems like a mess now. This is the second time that I have tried to get back into the game, but have ended up going back playing games I had played years ago, even the original GW. I log in now and again, but not as often as I had, which is sad that a game with such potential has ended up.. as this

Thanks for that glaphen. sPvP was one of the things I was hoping I could still enjoy, but obviously you need the expansion just to be on a fair playing field.

I am one that didn’t buy the expansion due to reasons. I have been reading the forums about how a lot of people are disappointed by it and how long it will take to open up the full elite spec.. now as I haven’t logged in and gong by the way PvP has always been set up ie: take a level 2 into PvP zone you have everything unlocked on traits etc etc, has this also been implemented for the elite specs for those that own the expansion?

In other words, if they haven’t unlocked all the content in masteries etc in PvE, is it all unlocked for them when they enter the PvP Lobby? If so.. then loooooooooool GG Anet I mean… *cough NCsoft cough *

It’s because it isn’t Anet anymore, its NCsoft. They really didn’t think about it when it came to the effects the Elite Spec’s would have in PvP. Even though there really is no true balance, this is just made it a joke. Now you are fighting against those who decided to buy the expansion, when they should just make it a flat playing field like it was before the expansion was patched. Either make it a part of the PvP selection only or not at all..

Iron Marches map. As title says, NPC’s are bugged, no mobs inside. Event at a stand still. NPC’s are just running around in circles.

Unless you are in the American Districts for places like Kamadan, then yup you won’t see anyone. Since it seems like you really detest having to put in actual work for something you want but don’t really want to do, then if you have facebook, there is the Kamadan page that you can join and ask to buy w/e it is you want, meet them in game and trade with them. Everything else you will have to put effort into, and you don’t seem like you can be bothered. So do the lazy thing, join that page, get your points in minis and then trade em. Simple.

Cyndr the Mountain Heart lol, I remember that mission. In normal mode it is easy to do with necros with life stealing skills and touch rangers as they can eat his hp without having to break down his shell. Pm me in game I am sure (dependant on our timezones of course) that I can help you out on any missions you need to get past etc etc

Mini’s you shouldn’t have too much of an issue with considering you have a green and gold already. I am 1 mini away from getting 40 minis, when max is 50 on calculator. I still couldn’t bring myself to dedicate my Kunnavang lol. Hero statues is another easy one to do, but I am not sure how far you are in game with original. Last time I logged into GW ambraces were selling for 27ecto each, when it is usually around 32ecto for 1 ambrace. Could get a tormented weapon, or work your way to a few destroyer ones. People also sell the war supplies and use them to get enough tokens for the Oppressor weapons too. I could see if I can help you out in any way even in game if you need.

You are looking at quite some time before any games will be using DX12. Guild Wars 2 is running off a modified version of the GW1 engine which was released 2005 so.. 10 years ago. What they have done is pretty impressive, considering it is a 10 year old engine. I doubt they would have the time or the resources to utilise DX11 without having to shut down the entire game for a lengthy period of time.

Login daily automatically gives you the chest ‘wiggling’ on the right hand side of your screen when dailies ‘reset’ you will get the chest. This happens at 12pm for me.. so not sure what that time will be for you :/

The only thing I want from HoT is for it to be sold stand – alone from the core game.. but noooooo -_-

It is a shame you get kicked for just being a ranger. If you know your class well and have the ability to melee, then what is the issue? I have been in groups with what some obviously deem as meta, some deal less dps due to gear etc etc bla bla. Hell if you can finish a fractal with a group, where is the problem? I don’t know why people kick certain classes.. even professions that are preferable in a group don’t seem to know much about their own class.
Guess you just got unlucky, people can be snobby and rude, it is why I generally do with a couple of friends. If they aren’t there I do the pvp dailies ON MY RANGER lolol

Maybe I missed where it mentions that you get dishonor for losing a match? But this is what I read about it :
In order to help keep league play fun for all players and reduce the number of people who quit, go AFK, or get up to other shenanigans, we’ll be updating and reinstating the dishonor system. The dishonor system gives a timeout to players who disrupt others from having a great match.

Well, if the guild halls will be anything like the one’s in the original Guild Wars, then they should have the option of having a GvG-like battle. aka Scrimmage. Why they didn’t put the guild halls in when they started the game.. i have no idea O.o seeing as the guild halls were the base settings of the ‘guild wars’

Sad thing is, the word itself is being used in the wrong context most of the time. I have been working on my Ranger title, was using treb, got attacked by 2 players, while dying got called ‘noob’ and trash etc etc. I am surprised using the word noob is actually still a thing?
So as I lay dying I think to myself why are you calling me this? … I haven’t been annoying or not willing to learn anything more.. I am always willing to learn to get better so why use the term?’ Then it hit me … OOHHH you mean … newb ?..

Honestly I wish people would know the differences on the terms before ‘trying’ to insult someone when they are the ones that don’t even know the meaning of what they are actually saying cough
If they are going to insult someone on what class they are using or how they play, at least make it worth my while to read a good insult, but all I see in map chat these days are ‘’noob’
