Hoping we might get an update on this when the Dragon Bash update happens next month.

Sounds good for me purely for the convenience of not swapping professions/characters.

I think the only rational use for them seems to be to extract one of the karma/gold/exp/MF Laurel inscriptions from a utility amulet.

Upgrade Extractor either needs a drastic reduction in costs or perhaps move it from gemstore to the Laurel merchant as a reward item.

As I recall on gw1, there were certain challenge missions that had Records held for fastest time or most points.

A record of best speedclearing for dungeons/fotm for each month would be a nice thing to have imo.

Exactly, it almost makes up for events and champ rewards being nerfed.

I play everyday at least 3 hours and have 13 characters at level 80. I’m too serious to be casual and too casual to be hardcore.

I enjoy playing Staff Ele in WvW and have reached ranked 720 (and will have around 900 total when they get merged)

Also I’ve reached fotm 50 although not quite enough AR to run it yet, usually play on warrior for dungeons/fotm.

I’ve faced and defeated Teq multiple times but have not had the chance to join an organised Wurm attempt yet.

I’m looking for a large, English speaking guild that does all guild missions at a time I can attend and ideally has at least karma and magic find boosts running 24/7.

I plan to swap servers from Sanctum of Rall for Season 2.

It’s such a relief to learn he survived.

This is as much a test of how the forum handles uploaded images as it is to contribute, but this seems to happen a lot.

So when the ranks become account bound. Say my total rank is 400. does that mean I have 400 points to put into each character, or does it mean I have 400 points to split between all my characters.

My interpretation is each character will have the “400” to spend individually. (the former)

Some of my friends interpreted this the other way. (the latter)

The former seems to make more sense to me, it would be strange seeing Bronze/Silver Legends running around without points invested in anything (eg Guard Leech/Applied Fortitude)
It would also have a bigger impact, making those wxp earned on alts more rewarding. crosses fingers

the players who have alts is going to get 5 easy ranks for each alt. as a player who doesnt have any alts i want a 10 rank boost scrool. thank you

Yes I know, they are referring to Wxp, not Wranks, so basically they will take all wxp your characters have made and apply it to your account.

example :

I have 2 char rank 10 = my account will be rank 16 ( not 20 )

Just quoting that little bit there because I was just considering the possibility of making alts to farm the first 5 levels quickly, but Anet has already taken it into account. gg

With my 3rd hit on the 1st day I got a Charged Quarts Crystal which I was unaware was possible at the time. (used Mithril Pick)

I’ve not had any more since.

250e produced 469 dust

1.876 dust / ecto

EDIT: Salvaged another 100e into 183 dust with Mystic

1.83 dust / ecto

After watching this video I’m quite excited about this device.

The speaker in the video mentions that no first person view and not being able to adjust the in game user interface are limiting this device for only working in Guild Wars 1 currently.

On the off-chance any developers will read this: Will there be support for Oculus Rift for GW2 in the future?

I think the only logical thing to do would be to hire a group of top Asuran scientists to build a time machine, travel back 200 years and settle down in Fisherman’s Haven, sipping coktails and sunbathing.

Pretty excited about this update!

Our tier of WvW was beginning to stagnate but this will get me back on the battlefield along with many others.

Kicking myself for spending most of my badges before this announcement. /facepalm

I usually wait until he opens mouth, quickly click on the gaping hole, then quickly throw.

Trying to target him before he opens mouth seems to target the necklace instead (I think).

When I first played GW2 around launch date, I really couldn’t get into it and left it alone for 3 months.

Picked it up again, found a great guild and enjoy playing daily now.

With a bit of help from experienced players explaining the basics, I was able to build a half decent character, explore the world and eventually join my guild in the chaos that is WvW.

Any open in Europe? – would really appreciate it, my server is struggling today

The scores are very close this week again in tier 4 and looks like it could go right to the line.

Less than 3000 points separating all 3 worlds – remarkably close fight this week

Just over 22 hours remaining and it’s too close to call a winner! great stuff

50 hours into the fight and the scores are:

Abaddon’s Mouth: 65,659
Aurora Glade: 63,714
Jade Sea: 60,977

making this the closest battle out of all the tiers on both US and EU worlds.

Looks like the ranking system is working well for the middle of the table.
