Exploit or not, there is no standard way of measurement. Everything depends on anet. When they said it is a exploit, it is a exploit. When they said it is not, it is not a exploit.

Imo, the fault lies with both parties (players and anet). Why i said so? 1st of all, Anet release the recipe (anet fault), and players used it to benefit themself (players fault). 2nd, when players found out this recipe can gain more ecto (not knowing this is a kind of exploit as define by anet), players continue to do it.

If you are not happy with the way Anet handles the game style play style, you can simply leave the game.

I don’t and will never ever going to spend Real Money on Virtual In-game items. Not worth it. Items doesn’t really belongs to you. I rather spent the money on food, dine with friends, etc. Not Worth buying virtual items.

they enable it on autocast cos they are AFKing (don’t want to get DC for AFKing too long). LOL. Autocast, AFK for 1 day, no DC. WIN! Some enable on their Healing button for DC-Prevention!

I got a few of it dropped from mobs in my gw2 total play times. it’s Rare, or i should said, Legendary Drop! lol. probably like 0.00000001% ? or just like winning Powerball. lol. But you can find lots of keys in Gem Store! haha. * hint hint *

since you are working as a database, you should know the huge amount of data going on. So, why are you pressing AN? Give them time. See, the more pressure you giving to AN, the more screw up the job going to be. Get it? Give them More Time to sort out everything.

imo, AN need to re-think about Orr in long term. How can a player clear SP with a champion beside it or the high crazy respawn rate in a low population server or in the off-peak hour?
My elementalist need to clear a SP in Cursed Store near Temple of Melandru, i asked for help, there is no one. I remembered in the 1st month of Gw2, that skill point is so easy to clear as there are plenty of people doing it.

Look at the huge amount of contested way-point in Orr. It’s a hint, AN. Really hope AN can do something about it.

I can see people want rewards aka compensation, just becos alot of people got the 20slot bag, with exotic and even a precursor! WHAT IF the chest only reward Master, Rare items, WILL you still QQ and asking for compensation ? LOL. Think about it. Read the line.

The harder players get hold of gold, the longer the players will be playing the game. Setting up high requirements for precursor, legendary will make players play longer. Low drop rate will make the players play longer.

If a game doesn’t have such requirement, it will end and die fast. So, play the game at your own leisure pace. :P

Logitech G600. Never ever get Razor Naga Epic, it will randomly Freeze. It’s a known problem and no fix from razor (so much failed support? lol).

I had a huge collection of mouse, and i found that Logitech is a much better mouse than razor. Razor tends to drop support after 1yr introducing the mouse.

Well, this is nothing to do with those of you who couldn’t attend the event, this is about those that did attend the many hours of the event, put up with about 1 frame per minute issues, got all the way through the event and then got kicked right at the end.

If you didn’t play the event, then that is a different issue and has nothing to do with this thread, start your own instead to complain about the timings of one time events.

Its now Wednesday and still nothing from A-Net. If I was part of their marketing or customer relations department, I would be hanging my head in shame. If I was part of any other department, I would be trying to get the marketing department to do something, a little communication goes a long way you know A-Net!

Like i said, rather than one time event (to some seems EPIC, but it’s not), make it spawn a few times so that those lag out can come back again another time. After looting chest, you would be able to loot the chest again.

I too speak for those players who unable to attend the event. What about those who wish to attend but unable to attend due to Timezone problem? How you going to compensate them? As i already stated, so long AN fixed up on all their coding for future events, will you think such issue will happened again? And everyone will be able to get their rewards for participating. If they didn’t fixed up, same thing happened again, you will make noise again! Right? See the long term, and not short term benefiting only to yourself and not to others.

Stop pressuring AN, they are trying their best to rectified it. I’m sad to see that there’s so many post that (players who DC)asking for LS event loots but there isn’t any post that speak up for those who can’t attend the event.

It can be done, as long as the event doesn’t bugged out. Can lure the risen to wipe the pact if they stop moving or 1 of the pact members died.

ya. lol. i myself got chained, slow, poison, etc non-stop by mobs in orr. Orr is a place certainly not meant for solo, especially for fresh newly 80s and not so geared players.

Huge aggro range by some risen, insane movement speed, lots of CC and DoT. I hated most is there is a Champion guarding Skill point challenge! Champion can engage with, but not with mobs keep respawning !

Just get over with it guys. lol. Why you all keeps bringing this up for? Anet reserve the rights whether to give or not to give. Yes, it’s Anet fault for causing all the problems, but hey, who doesn’t make mistake?
As long as Anet rectified this mistake and problem, it’s a Huge Reward to us. Small compensation doesn’t solved the issues its gonna have in the future.

ya… i too spotted few teleporters in crystal desert server. They are mining all the nodes in Orr. Some hack can mask out their account name, which will blank out their account name when you try to report them.
It’s very hard to for Anet to detect them, but there’s always a way to prevent it.

there is a hack which when you try to report them, it will show a Empty Name.

How do you determine who had looted before? You would think Anet will look at the log, and scan every single name again to flag those? Its a tedious job, pretty well i can bet they wouldn’t do it.
Anet has the right not to give you anything at all.

i believe they have the combat log for it. Well, you can’t ask for more. Look at some people who wanted to join but can’t join due to unable to connect or in different time zone. How to compensate those?

Anet just want to keep more people happy so tat they can continue to stay on playing the game. But this is unfair to those who are in Different Time Zone or working.

not for me. I used to crash alot, but recent patch works fine for me. I love to Alt-Tab alot (don’t have dual or more monitors), and tabbing alot will Crash the game for me. LOL.

LOL. For me is simple. Anet needs to deliver whatever they said before asap. Talking is easy. Doing is another. I can promised gamers we will be dealing with bugs, events, so and so, but i will be fixing up months or even years later.

Before giving out such AMA session, they guy will have to be good in PR and study lots of questions and preparing which is the best answer to give, followed by some backup answers.

instead of asking of a reset, why not ask the dev to Fix the bugs which will cause the events to get bugged? Reset doesn’t fully guaranty it wouldn’t get bugged again!

seriously, nothing much can do to attract people from coming back. Imo, the best way Anet can do right now is try to fix all the long overdue bugs, events and introduce small to large scale mini events.

Let it go. Anet can’t just simply give loots. You said you were there, is there prove, such as screenshot? People who wasn’t there can also said they were there too. imo, Anet will not be able to give loots to those who disconnected during the events. All they can do is a public apologize, nothing much they can do about it.

No Game can ever satisfied every single individual needs. hardcore gamers wants fast, new, better gears asap. casual gamers wants casual mode but in the same time wants good gears. pvpers wants lots of pvp action with gears on par with endgame pve gears.

after releasing the game for 3months. i think its time for anet to settle on the long overdue bugs rather than releasing new content. New content can be release 6mths later. in between, anet can create small events.

Well, how to fix bugs when you don’t have enough programmers for fixing bugs? i hope Anet focus on fixing the bugs right now than releasing more buggy contents.

haha. Agree. Well, i read somewhere that there’s only 2 programmers to fix the bugs. So, imagine when they will be able to fix it? The more contents they release, the more bugs this game will continue to have.

intro 5 bugs, fix 2, intro 5, fix 2. how many bugs now? think of it. There will never be less bugs. Anet need to hire more programmers to fix most of the bugs, say 75% – 90%.

Mmo is sort of where you can see other players in open world/map.
where gw1 u only can see players in a Area(City, district).

well… i’m one of the players who can’t participate the event cos it was 4am for me. Sleep > Game. lol. i disagree with having One Time event. Anet didn’t really show consideration for other players who are in different time zone.

haha. last time there is a player who argued with me about the botters. i told him, with botters, things are much cheaper! Which he whole-heartly disagree….. well… i hope he now knows the different of having and without bots around.
