Hello I am stuck at the place where Faolain tells Caith to subdue the gate guard, no matter how hard i spam and smash my “f” key, caith just cant kill the guard. I’ve completed LS2 on my ranger before and there were no problems. But my necro just cant kill the guard, ive logged in multiple times and i still cant do a thing.

You just need to watch a video of an AC run then just pug it. Dungeons in this games are all about stacking in a corner to kill mobs then running past another bunch of mobs then stacking in a safespot to kill the boss.
If you go with a lvl 80 character and pug with other lvl 80s you wont have any problem. It gets problematic if you pug with a bunch of low lvl f2p players that dont speak english or refuse to use chat.

but after the dungeon nerfs i barely see anyone doing dungeons at all. its hard to find a pug and I dont want to be heavy weight and upset the group when i actually find one

Dungeon rewards were nerfed just like a month after i started playing this game, so I really didn’t have a chance to play dungeons correctly. I now really want to farm AC to get monk runes because I want to gear my druid with them. I don’t want to bother other players to carry me through AC so I thought maybe i can do it myself. I have a max specialization Reaper and druid with full exotic power(zerker) and condi(viper) gear. Which path should i farm with my which one of my characters? How long would i need? Is it even possible to do so now or are there any other easier ways to obtain the tokens to get monk runes?

also if the build can include minions it would help a lot for me to solo some HOT HPs

I’ve been trying to make an open world pve condi build for my reaper, I think condi fits the theme of necromancers better than power. I’ve checked all the “insane” dmg builds on metabattle and other sites and none of them has a skill or trait in speed increasing. I am aiming for a comfortable open world build here so that 25% speed increase is really important to me to travel, how can i fit one speed increase trait or skill in a condi build and not lose too much dmg? (dmg doesnt have to be insanely high but at least on par or slightly better than berserker gear power reaper)

After creating multiple power characters, I really want to switch to condi dmg builds to get more out of the game. Now I have a reaper with full exotic viper set and im very happy with the amount of condi dmg it can do. However I still want to roll another condi class and the burnzerker came into my mind. I really like the idea of a warrior burning people around him so I feel like creating a warrior and build him around condi. Many people say that the burnzerker got nerfed hard after the 1/26 patch, I really want to know how hard it was nerfed, how good is it compared to other classes? I don’t want to risk time on a average class in condi dmg, don’t really want to roll a condi engi and ele cuz i don’t have the fast fingers to do the full rotations. Is the burnzerker still one of the top4 condi dmg classes out there? Or its dmg is only on par with condi classes such as A/T ranger and Mace Rev?

how did you “waste” gold gearing a condie war. It is still perfectly usefull.

If you are concerned about the COST of gearing a “new” class. then I would not bother. Gear them out because you are playing them, or enjoy playing them.

What else are you using your gold for?

Why is it perfectly useful? how is the new burnzerker compared to other top condi classes like scrapper, reaper and tempest? I am thinking of rolling a warrior if the burnzerker is still perfectly viable and somewhat strong too.

Hello Obal, with the amount of information on the changes of Revenants in the next patch, how much will it change the revenant dps build? Will staff replace sword as a main dps weapon? What are your thoughts?

After beating LW2 im planning to march in the HOT maps soon, although I heard the new pets are pretty crappy, I would still like to catch em all(pokemon)! However, I haven’t found any guides showing the locations of these pets and the requirements for finding them(mastery glide lvls etc), are there any guides out there? if not, is there anyone who is nice enough to share it to people like me?

I heard its not optimal compared to zerker DH guardians dmg wise, is that the case? is viper+ sinister gear worth getting? is it good enough to survive in the jungle and do good amounts of dps?

Would u consider zealot as a viable choice for Druid pve?

What kinda gear are you using? Nomad? Magi? Cleric’s? Zealot?

Situation is this: With Glint having easy Perma fury which is traited for 40% crit chance increase, is basically flat out 40% crit chance on you at all times. For this reason, when using full Berserker’s gear you can hit the 100% easily and even surpass is quiet quickly, which is why people stay it’s a waste.
It works fantastically, no doubt. BUT, you can hit the same stats with other gear, while also being more durable.
It’s a question of circumstances and optimization.

so berserker is only debatable when rev uses herald, what about other circumstances, like shiro+plus anything but herald?

I’ve seen opinions here and there but no one seems to fully explain if revenants should have zerker gear or not. Some ppl r extreme and say that zerker is a HUGE waste on rev, while others say its actually pretty good since rev has some built in survivability. What is the truth?

in lvl 80 personal story starving the beast, the blist is always pout of range, tried 5 times and never can i hit the ship once with the cannon

I am a new player( killed Zhaitan less than a month ago) with 2 lvl 80 characters, a ranger and a thief. I bought berzerker gear and scholar runes for both of my characters and im happy with it. However Ive heard the HOT update introduced new armor stat sets and new runes. I feel worried cuz i saved a long time for the gold to buy my current gear and I dont want it to be wasted. Does my gear have a place in the new expansion? or is it a lot inferior to the new sets and runes? Also, if zerker+scholar is still good, can i use them on daredevil and druid too? Or it is better for me to get another 2 sets for those 2 elite specializations?

I am a new player and I just killed Zhaitan less than 2 weeks ago. I saved a lot of gold and bout a zerker set with scholar runes. However, recently I’ve read these stuff that Anet is planning to kill off zerkers and dungeons in the HOT expansion. Will my investment in my zerker gear and scholar runes be a waste of hard earning gold? Or it will still be at a decent spot after the expansion? I can save for another build(daredevil watever) but i feel bad wasting hard earned gold on stuff that will decrease in price and usefulness

Hello my ranger buddies, I am a new gw2 player and I just slayed Zhaitan 2 weeks ago in GW2. I’ve been following the meta after completing my personal story and bought a berserker sword, axe and long bow. The weapons have been working wonders but I’m worried that the meta will change entirely after HoT update. Will my weapons be useless? Should I wait till HoT release and then spend my gold on meta weapons then? Or Berserker items and scholar weapons will still be good and I can continue i investing my money on the berserker gears.

This is very important to me since earning gold is not easy for a newbie, I have a feeling that I just wasted my hard earned gold on some gear that might be useless or not that useful in the future:(
