I would be happy if it would just update the view to show who I am actually attacking. I have had so many times when I’m fighting mobs only to realize I’m not shooting the mob that I have targeted. It’s really annoying.
Am I missing something or is ther eno guild discussion forum? I was going through the guild upgrades and the tool tips are almost useless. For exapmple:
Research Politics Level 1
Tooltip says: Increase your guild skill in politics to level 1.
It’s basically a repeat of the skill name and just as useless. Why would I want to do it? what benefit would it give my guild?
So, to get back on subject, I’ve been trying to figure out what all these things do and which one I should learn first, but htere is no uselful informaition out there. I thought that there would at least be a forum here where I could look through and find out what these things do, but the only thing about guilds is the guild recruitment forum.
For a game with Guild in its name there is remakably little information about guilds available.
Also, please add more information to the guild roster panel such as time last on and alt information (names, class, professions, etc.) would be very useful.
I agree with all the camera problems and would love to see them fixed.
Just wanter to add that I agree with all the camera problems. Doing any quests in tight spaces or places with lots of trees is just bad and annoying.
While we’re at it, let us zoom in/out using the mouse wheel while turning (holding down RMB). Not being able to do this is extremely annoying.
This is one of the biggest complaints I hear. All the maps are pretty much the same. Sure you have an underwater area in one and a trebuchet in another, but it’s really the same thing with a very small addition. There should be some capture the flag type maps and maybe some larger maps (but smaller than WvW).
is bugged. The event never progresses, it’s always at 17 and 4. Also the level 23 area to the north down levels you to level 17. So I nearly got killed on my level 33 guardian by a level 23 worm.

…on the front page of the web site. It is listed as guild wars 2, but has absolutely nothing to dso with the game and although I’m a big fan of the game, it makes me not want to play the game. Obviously posting this was some kind of mistake or a bug because only a fool would do this on purpose.

What sort of evidence would you like? I play pvp a lot and just got mercenary today. I can fraps thieves doing 12k dmg in 2hits or scoreboards with 8 thieves in one match. Please tell me and i’ll get the evidence.
So the problem is the matchmaking, not the thieves. I’m lucky if I get into a game that even has 8 players total in it right now. A whole team of anything is going to be op. The biggest problems people have right now is that they don’t know how to play their class.
No it is not just you. Both spvp and WvW are both zerg fest. Pvp is really lacking in this game.
Obviously you haven’t played much PvP
Just because there are Zergs in WvW doesn’t mean that’s all it is.
Whenever a Zerg happens my friends and I use that as an advantage to take supply camps or destroy caravans
I’ve played plenty of WvW and there’s tons of strategy and communication involved in the chat.
I’ve played a ton of PVP since the prerelease and it’s really not very good. WVW completely depends on your server and is completely unbalanced right now. It’s really not even worth doin on some servers because you will never make it past your front gate.
I’m much, much more concerned with the unbalanced PVP than the downed state. I would rather sit in queue for 10 mintes that tueue up in a 2vs2 match, or worse a 3 vs 1. The games should be full when they start, or should not start. Autobalancing by switching people off of their teams is also a very stupid idea that may work in shooters like MW3, but not in real team based PVP. It also makes it near impossible to play with friends.
I’m constantly getting queued up in teams with only 2 players or teams that are massively imbalances (4 vs 2, etc.). If I look at the PVP browser it’s constantly 3/16 and stuff like that. I wold much rather wait in Queue for a full team then get stuck in a near empty team or massivle lopsided team. please fix, because PVP sucks as it is now.
LFG didn’t do this, people sat around inside the city doing nothing LOOOONG before LFG existed. In fact, the reason people would sit around in the city before LFG is because they were trying to for a group because you couldn’t do it while running around out in the world. Also, just because you are in a guild does not mean that there will be people on who want to do the dungeons that you want to do. This is a problem in most MMOs. Wow was a huge success for many good reasons and anyone who opposes ideas just because they were in WOW are idiots. While I no longer play WOW and am having a lot of fun it GW2, there are still many things WOW did/does better than GW2.
LFG ruined the “world” aspect of World of Warcraft. All people did/do is sit in Stormwind or Orgrimmar and queue for dungeons. There’s no point in the world even existing because it’s barren. You generally don’t even interact with the people in your random group, and if you don’t like someone you just vote to kick them; where is the sense of community in that? It’s a stupid idea, I’m glad it was left out.
Missing a feature like LFG or LFR in Guildwars 2 just screams to the community that you want groups but are too lazy to form them yourself. Please keep trash ideas like the aforementioned out of the GW2 forums.
People like you are the reason I quit playing WOW, not LFG. Maybe you should keep your trash opinions out of the GW2 forums.
