the server as a whole is filled with mindless zombies running sigil of water and renewal
with runes of vampirism. ICoa is their best guild and got rocked by less than 20 people.
Main strategy involves waiting for 2 groups to engage in combat, then blobbing it down with 40 or more people (not a blob according to BG).

watch the video, friendly players have icons next to their names. We don’t have that on NA/EU, why not?

Remove the transfer 1 / 2 week lockout.

Seasons are over (thank god) and i’d like to get transfers sorted.

Nobody wants to transfer to not be allowed to play the game.

Hello, I would like to know if developers would ever consider adding a pk system within servers in WvW. So many times I want to kill my fellow servermates(?) because they keep following and don’t leave me alone. They keep stating it is a “free country” as if I give 2 kittens. They refuse to leave me and my guild alone to raid as a GUILD in a game called GUILD WARS 2. I would also like to pk many people in my server who annoy me and I would like to kill arena net devs on my server too, because I can.

I think this could change WvW for the better, the pug population will finally leave guilds to raid as GUILDS, and commanders can run as they wish, with all the pugs. So yea, give me the option and make it available to slay people within the same server in WvW.

from my pov NA kinda standin in place while EU keeps coming up with new tactics.
I really hope EotM would let us EU and NA meet on the battlegrounds.

i think the general consensus is that agg is the epitome of stagnation in terms of strategy and new tactics is concerned.

they are extremely good at the one thing they do, but in many ways they are a one trick pony. it’s why they got handled by EP some months ago. perhaps they adapted by now, but regardless they are slow to evolve.

All is right in GW2 again. GvG Showdown is back and suddenly there’s 5+ Upcoming matches on gw2gvg.com compared to the 1 or 2 that’s typically been there since Orbageddon. Now we just have to get NA to start using it again cause it really was extremely helpful in setting up matches before.

I definitely want to encourage both EU and NA guilds to make threads about their matchups here in this forums, especially if you plan on live streaming.

need help getting most of the guilds out of the PPT mindset and out of Gold League
most GvG’s dont happen in NA gold league is because “indo xyz” is a dictator in sanctum of rall, who for some reason is deemed a God. Anyway, GvG’s aren’t allowed to happen unless he gives the okay, I have heard this from every guild on SoR.

a lot of people are making dont statements like oh you can counter it by running condi cleanse or a guardian should not be locked down

or if your a warrior, you never feel immobilize because your freaking op already

Once any class blows their cleansing in order to stay mobile (mobility is victory) the warrior can keep cc’ing with this stupid auto attack. If they have frenzy they can immobilize you and do it faster. There are different situations where this is op.

Where it can be more than one warrior or an immobilize warrior + a stunlock warrior.

Jesus christ have mercy.

The 1 spam on “Sword” is amazingly insanely, unexpectedly and surprisingly over powered. The auto attack applies cripple, and if you are traited into Leg Specialist it applies immobilize over and over.
On a 1v1 situation, it is broken. But what if you take 10 warriors in your guild, make them only run sword in wvw with 8 guardians and 10 casters what will happen?
Well, we pushed into a group of people, warriors spammed “1” skill, they spammed 1 from sword on them while we rained aoe on them. There was no cleansing in the world that could have saved this group. They got immobilized, they cleansed it and got immobilized re-applied to 5 people over and over again. Their elementalists could not vapor form out of any nasty situation, since the warriors kept pushing one button and preventing any enemy from moving.
What is the meaning of this? It is broken, especially on a freaking Auto Attack.
The Internal Cooldown has also been removed from the trait, which makes it more broken.
If you don’t believe me, run a train of warriors and all spam 1 on your sword, nothing will be able to move.

Anet knows once Wildstar and ESO launch the following will happen:

1. PPT players and realm vs realm players will all go and play ESO for Eso’s more promising RvR system.
2. GvG guilds and open field fighting / roam squads will go play Wildstar, because of Wildstar’s implemented GvG system and open world pvp system for roamers.

Anet knows no matter what they do, they are too stupid to deliver any content that can keep us here instead of going to those 2 games. So they are just doing what they can to push as many people into sPVP as they can, to promote their favorite gamemode in hopes of converting it to an esport.

The stat boost, while controversial, is there to give the buff meaning in the context of the general WvW battle. Providing boosts like %WXP, etc. don’t have impact in fights against other sides, they are just a nice bonus for you. The stat boost and the points for finishing players mean that not only do you want to have the buff, but you don’t want your opponents to have it.

Here to put an end to “if and when Agg leaves” rumors. We made our Chinese friends in Jade Quarry a promise that Aggression will be staying on Jade Quarry for the long run this time, longer than our longest stay on any server previously (Sea of Sorrows) during our PPT days. The rumors upset our friends and I just wanted to verify that Aggression is going to stay on Jade Quarry possibly up to our last day on Gw2.

I also believe no more transfers are needed, Fort Aspenwood and Dragonbrand could use guilds if there is an intention on having more than 3 “competitive” servers.

Also, if we manage to conquer an entire league, we will achieve more recognition from Anet. How will they respond to all guilds from the other servers all moving into 1 league JUST to GvG. It will ruin their entire league system, since the guilds wont be in the other servers to carry them for ppt play. The higher leagues will feel dead, while our league will florish with open field and GvG fights.

I think this is the best way to go about promoting GvG.

we dont have to use windmill, we can use Ruins, southwest garrison sentry area, north of NWT, between bay and briar field, west of Lake tower, and between hills and garrison open fields.
