Guild: Team Legacy [TL]
Server: Northern Shiverpeaks
Team Legacy on NSP claimed SM on Wednesday. Grats though
Still bugged (40 minutes later). http://puu.sh/l0qz7/1dff48cb34.jpg
136% participation OP
It really sucks that we all spent 2.5 hours working on this just to have it bug at 0%
Server IP Address is
64.25.38.168:0
So we just got the Mouth of Mordremoth down to 0% on my server and he seems like he is bugged.
:((((

As an update, it looks like it just came back online. Thanks again!
Thanks! <3 We really appreciate it!
Good fight

Nah. We fortified the hell out of the thing, and right before the reset the inner gate went down.
Guess who just took Stonemist? lol
The map only shows the top (10?) commanders. That is, the (10?) commanders with the most people in their squad.
Current scores:
JQ: 67,629 +240 **
IoJ: 66,319 +220
SBI: 66,058 +235 *
Please, be informed before you start spreading rumors. Here is why TL transferred: http://teamlegacy.net/topic/9281-team-legacy-starting-a-new-chapter/
I was in the Red Borderlands earlier today. Crystal Desert had been trebbing Dreaming Bay all day. We went to go take Garrison, and the Keep Lord still had the invulnerability buff on him (a bug). Obviously, we couldn’t take the Garrison, so we just focused on other objectives on the map. I’m hoping the bug can be fixed manually, and/or before the end of this matchup.
Had a lot of fun, though! You CD guys are persistent!
@Clever, this is not true. We just don’t have the population to be able to field a full force 24/7. This allows HoD to come in and take points with little to no resistance.
When everyone from ET/SBI gets on after they wake up/get off of work, they have a lot of work to do to take back their points.
I was on the ET borderlands last night, and we started out with not even a supply camp. By the end of the night, we had captured Godslore, Arah’s Hope, Astralhome, Longview, Cliffside, and (temporarily) had Etheron Hills. We also attacked Garrison twice, draining it of all the supply.
We’re not sore losers. It’s just frustrating to log on to a map that was, essentially, 50% yours last night and is now 0%.
The problem I see with mobile siege equipment: Mesmers (I play one in addition to my Warrior, so you know)
Build 6 mobile flame rams. Stack them all on top of a mesmer portal. Mesmer runs up to keep door and lays down the portal exit. Door goes down in 30 seconds. =/
Good job guys! Keep up the good work!
If I remember correctly, it doesn’t go by the amount of players. It goes by how far behind you are in potential points (the +300 or something like that).

It just gives you increased rewards for doing stuff.
HoD is so good ET simply avoided facing them and being crushed for a week
Not true, we were hoping to be up against them this week. We were also expecting it because we had won our last 24-hour matchup.
@Cayden Those are all really great features that the Commander should have
Don’t assume =[. [/offtopic]
Anyway, while I do not think this is fair, I do not think it (WvW) is intended to be fair. I agree that camping is pretty low, but it is a part of PvP. People do it in Call of Duty, and other shooters, so it only makes sense we’d see it in another PvP format.
While the majority of people dislike campers (myself included), they will still do it anyway. Even without the siege equipment, all they need is a few elementalists to meteor shower and you’re stuck in the same situation.
No need for the caps, but I agree. If you’re queue’d for a zone, you shouldn’t be booted from the queue if you disconnect.
The problem with that, would be Team A could have defeated the Castle Lord below, but if Team B is already up on the 2nd floor they would cap the keep with no effort.
I really think this is temporary until they fix that bug.
The idea isn’t to prevent them from rendering on screen (even if that does happen). The idea is to use the element of surprise.
Here’s an example of usage. Team A is defending a keep. Team A has 3 ballista setup behind the doors. Team A will fire the ballista when the gates fall. If Team B learns about this (from a previous assault on the keep) or just want to play it safe, they can use a mesmer portal right outside the door. The mesmer double dodge rolls in and lays down the portal exit away from the main entrance. This gives Team B a strategic way of entering the keep (granting the element of surprise).
Without this option available, keep assaults would look something like this: (every time)

I have seen this tactic (yes, tactic) used by a lot of our enemies in WvW.
I think this is a temporary fix until they can get the bug with the Keep Lord being able to be attacked from underneath on the first floor.
(Yes, I said bug because if it wasn’t ArenaNet wouldn’t have changed it. So I guess this answers that question once and for all…)
I know about mesmer portals, but I don’t see how they could be used to exploit. =/ Can you provide a more clear explanation?
Try to find some friends, or even just a few randoms. Form a party and try to get supply camps far behind enemy lines (and then GTFO, unless you can setup siege to defend the camp :P). It really throws a lot of enemies, and it’s much more effective at redirecting enemy troops to where they aren’t needed.
If the Keep Lord would rush down the stairs to the bottom level, I would say this is working as intended. But if he isn’t even aggro’d and he dies without being aggro’d (which I believe is the case), then it is not working as intended.
The next match when they were placed with the same group that had just beaten them. Rather than fighting and using enemy tactics they chose the option of giving up and moaning on forums. They still have yet to prove any such exploit/bug to anybody but themselves.
If it is an exploit, and we have seen what ArenaNet does to people who exploit (Karma vendor fiasco), why on earth would they try to replicate it? I know I wouldn’t. It is not worth a temp or perma ban.

The problem was not only were the Dolyaks being botted for experience, karma, and gold, but there were people (on some servers) who would refuse to help out anywhere else on the map.
For instance, on my server (which I have since transferred from), people would sit in queues for WvW for hours. Then, when we finally got in, it turned out that half of the players in the map were just escorting Dolyak’s for the experience, and not helping siege castles or towers.
The purpose of WvW is to fight for your server. If half of the people are just escorting Dolyak’s, it really doesn’t help your server.
Now, don’t get me wrong, it’s GREAT to help your server out by escorting the dolyaks. It allows keeps to be upgraded and such. It just becomes a problem when half the people on the map are escorting the dolyaks exclusively and not helping the rest of the server out.
I fail to see how reporting a bug in the game can make an alliance or server look bad. If it is a bug, it’s obviously not working as intended. If that bug is being used to someone’s advantage, then they are exploiting the bug. Enough said.
PS: I’m not exactly sure what the bug is. Can someone explain?
That’s supposed to happen in WvW.
