I notice im actually Running A Hybrid Build right now , Mix cond/zerk with axe/scepter.

Should i maybe just wait for the expansion to see if new and better options come up???

But i haven’t played the game in over 1 year!! and i am now getting back into it.

Any one have a suggestion for the best viable Class in PvE for groups dungeons and fractals???

I use to Run a Condition Necro then i switch to a Zerk necro witch seem to be the way to go back then. but now im a little lost on what i should aim for!

2. If you read the term and condition or w/e , anything in the game is ANET property. Even if they change stats on an ITEM for example , they have NO obligation to refund you or to allow you to change the stats. anything they do is 100% courtesy.

3. they also mention that EXPERIENCE MAY CHANGE or VARY! meaning they can change anything they want in the game and you can not sue them.. (basically )

4. in the LINK you posted they mention Blizzard ( diablo 3 ) that is a great recent example. people paid real cash for uber items , they got nerfed and people complained. Blizz won.

No the 7k is including the direct damage. Condi necro does about 3.5k dps with conditions.

thats just the condition, so im 5K DPS off using JUST COND but im also dropping wells and doing direct DPS to compensate for that 5K DPS lost ( witch is actually mroe then 5k).

Point being, its VERY CLOSE! and if your a better players ( witch is not hard to be ) you can out DPS and out live almost any class on a regular.

I know we have less BUSRT DPS then most but the realaty of it is: you dont need burst because by the time your party is done one rotation most mobs are alredy dead lol. ( burst can help on BOSS fights)

PS: Im using 5K cond DPS as an exampe cause thats what I do as a HYBRID necro i also do allot of Direct DPS.

7-13k dps is:—> DS 1 —> axe 2 --> LF1 Witch with proper rotation is none stop. ( also requires me to drop my 15-25 stacks of VUL and my 10-15 stacks of might to do that. ( im not full zerk so its not a perfect 25/25 stacks )

Axe 2 , go to DS #1 for 4 shots , axe 2 is back up . Jump to LF or rotate to Scepter for cond or even drop some wells ( depending on fight ) and epidemic ( on any fight with more then 1 mob ). Rinse and repeat.

An other thing for example , lets say I do 5k Cond DPS .. then spread epidemic to hit 2-3 other mobs in a 360* angle in 600 radius . im still hitting 50% more targets then a WAR doing GS #2 only hitting targets DIRECTLY in front of him.

SO whats better a WAR doing 10-15k DPS to 2 targets . or a NEcro doing 5k-10k to 5 targets?! ( its pretty dam close )

so like i said before its all about knowing how to use your skill and knowing WHEN to use them. we do lack some *burst DPS compare to war for example but we have plenty of other things we can do that helps the fights/team while the CD reset.

saying that a NECRO sucks is just ignorant. The only disadvantage to a NEcro is when you meat a other COND build and you guys consistently stack 25 bleeds witch kills off your own DPS. ( hence why im hybrid to prevent does situations soo when I see 25 bleeds i rotate to Direct DPS)

People are generally ignorant in this game. MY fav example is people saying:

OH COND necro only do 5k dps a tick with condition and then say WAR does like 10kDPS. What they all seem to forget is we do 5k COND damage and we probably do an other 5k in Normal attacks… so in reality we also do 10k dps a tick. GW2players are terrible at math.. i have a hybrid necro doing about 3-4k Condition damage a tick ( all the time ) not to mention an other 7-13k Damage with my regular attacks.

if you know how to play your class properly ( what ever one ) ->
you are more viable and better then 99% of the GW2 players no matter the class they have.

I play a necro in high lvl fractals and honestly i out live and out DPS most people i play with. Going FULL zerk in high lvl fractals is as efficient as killing a Bear with a Plastic knife while being naked.

I rather Live. and if your alive you out DPS any one dead. lol

What i like about the necro is that we arguably we have the BEST AOE in the game ( not best dps , but overall = range ( scepter+ staff+ DS) , area we cover (DS #4-5) + epidemic… ) and we can out DPS single targets more then Zerk war . Depending on the fight i have a couple sets of weapons in my bags.

Fractals = lots of AOE needed and lots of bosses have 2-3 MOBS , NEcro = wins.
if you get the phew single targets , you still burn ouT AMAZING DPS ( more then most classes.

this is just a suggestion to fix a VERY annoying feature in the game,

When I try to check out ( preview ) armor on the TP it wipes all my armor but the one im previewing.

Example the new scarlet gloves and shoulder , it removes the rest of my armor from the preview and i cant even link them in the chat to preview them properly.

For this reason alone im not gona buy that armor cause i have NO idea how good or BAD it looks with the rest of my gear!!

Pls change this!!!

yeah this is probably the MOST annoying part of the game….

sale 5 items , then BOOM error!!! i still have 10-20 items to sale…

I push o to close an o to re-open the TP , i sale ONE item and BOOM i get an ERROR on the second item i sale…

Having dungeon tokens drop outside of anything but a dungeon doesn’t make sens to me.

they also cant make Dungeon Tokens to easy to get cause it would screw up some of the economy. You can buy Exos with tokens that can be salvaged for High end Mats.

What I would like to see is a bigger Token reward at the end of the Dungeon Depending on difficulty.

like the gold reward; AC=1.5 , CoF =1 Arah =3
AC could get 90 , CoF the normal 60 , and Arah 120Tokens or something.

they cant do that for 1 reason.

Commander Tag is Just as viable in PvE! witch people dont seem to understand or know.

I command a BUNCH of World events (boss , temples , LS ..ect..) yet i NEVER go in WvW. so for people like me this would really turn me off.

Unless they add some sort of req for a PvE Tag..

oh , I just hope they dont decide to release one of does SKins a year and you need to play the game for 6 Years to get them all. hahaha

Champ train is not fastest way to make Gold , thats for sure LOL , and i int sharing that secret. you do get nice skills points and some useless exos doh.

There is MULTIPLE zone that have like 5-10champs in it . if you dont like the champ train switch to a different zone if you wana solo them.

for Example Harathy hinterlands has a TONE of champs with Chests. Not to mention every mob will give you like 300+ BONUS EXP cause no one ever goes there!!

Ive played a Condition necro , Zerk , MM and now im a Hybrid and i love it!!
you can basically adapted to any situation!

doing a Hybrid properly , you can get up to 25 stack of bleed ( with a little less DPS as a pure condition necro (bleeds) ) and Do almost as much Bursts and Direct DPS as a zerker necro!!

I do as much damage in DS with Life Blast 100% crit applying might and vul (trait) and Linch form using Deathly claws (100% crit) with a marked for death (x10VUL)
then I do with my channeling skills , Witch I simply rotate properly

Simple really ,

• The Necromancer is the Hybrid Profession in GW2 , it does every thing every other class can do. (but not as good)

• Other classes can do some of it better but cant do it all.

Exp

• Sure our AOE dps cant keep up( cause of long cool downs ) , but we have better single DPS
• sure we cant buff party , but we buff our self ( yeah, I know selfish necro )
• we dont heal allies as well as a Guard but we heal our self Amazingly (and buffs)
• Fears are also very much underrated / under Used! , ( aside from boss fights)

the list could go for ever , but now I actually wana go play .. so yeah..

I personally just tired of seeing the following things:

• ZERK ONLY!
• HEAVY ONLY
• NO NECROS (?) ( even if hes ZERK and they ask for zerk only ) ( PS zerk necro have better single target DPS then a war witch is 80% of fights in dungeons and ALL bosses.)
• MESMER OR WAR ONLY!
• LEVEL 80 ONLY ( maybe for some )
• ACHIEVEMENT POINTS XXXXX or more!! ( thats my FAV , i had dungeon master and had done all dungeons over 20 times each befor i got to 1.5k AP)

People in this game are Ignorant , selfish and out right childish

if you want a specific run type then use your guild and Friends!! dont have friends?! FIND SOME!!! I have 8 friends that i normally Run dungeons with and we have specific builds for dungeons, rest of time i just PUG w/e! and help newbs

99% of dungeon LFG require the above witch basically means:

• IF YOUR NEW, kitten YOU!!

unless you land on a player like me that will actually take the extra 30sec to TEACH new players.

my 2 cent:

1. Necro can KITE better then guard ( witch is needed in a phew dungeons ) with proper Skills. ( like in AC p1 ) (maybe not in PvP and WvW but yes in PvE )

2. Zerk Necro have a higher SINGLE target DPS out put then a zerk WAR if played right. ( not to mention we can EASILY put 25 stack of VUL on any mob! THEN SPREAD IT to all other mobs!!!! hows that for Support in a ZERK group!!! ) ( fact )

3: Necro have one of , if not the best Survivability ingame no matter what Build they spec in. ( guards have better Team support but necro have great Self support and a guard going all out support no longer hs any good DPS compare to a necro witch can still keep up his DPS ) ( if a ZERK war claims to have better survivability then a ZERK necro , hes never played a necro RIGHT before. ) Sure the WAR will have better OVER ALL DPS , but necro have more single DPS and better survivability for the lack of AOE DPS ( witch is also pretty dam good if you rotate your DPS right with staff skills and condition Spreads )

4: Necro have the BEST CONDITION AOE ingame. ( even doh people say condition is useless in PvE ) … Condition is WAY more useless in PVP/WvW as every single class can use cond removal , MOBS cant ( Condition is only really useless in WORLD bosses )

5: Necro’s are probably the BEST Solo class ingame for PvE , yes every other class can do ONE thing better then the necro, bu the NEcro can do it ALL at the same time! and NEcro IS BY FAR the best class to LVL up specially a MM necro ) even doh lvling up is the most useless part of the game! they do it right. HAHA

( I play a hybrid necro , i can stack 25 stacks of bleed , or i can do MASSIVE single DPS or even pull out some pet or Bufs/debuffs by changing 1-2 skills and keeping my traits as is!! i have about 5 different types of FOOD for every situation: condition duration , to Power/Crit to Vit/toughness even Magic find ) Example: if i play with other COND types i dont use condition duration i use more power or crit . once i see 25 stacks i switch to applying VUL on target and doing strait DPS.

6: Necro’s can MASS debuff: Endless Blinds , Fears , Vul, Chill and cripple. ( still very good )

7: They say every class can do everything better then NECRO , BUT .. im pretty sure a MM necro is better then a PET ranger.. any day of the week… +1 . lol

The necro of GW2 i think would have been better in GW1 as GW1 required more TALENT in knowing WHAT SKILLS to swap depending on the fight..

GW2 = Facesmashing with one build. ( zerk war , theif , mesmer and guard )

if people read the LFG description once in a while they might not get kicked/insulted as much

well the fact that LFG is still in BETA, I expect it to be buggy and to go down once in a while for updates.

The majority of people play computer games to see content and a lot of people want to defeat the hardest content. In GW2 that means high level fractals (Although they aren’t that hard). In order to defeat the highest level fractal (currently 50) you need a lot of AR.
In order to get that AR you need to grind for ascended gear, or use minimal ascended gear with infusions that have been stacked, which require a substantial investment in gold. Takes some grinding (Or at least some gem buying), to get that gold.

by the time your personal level for fractals is even close to 50 you should have FOUND all your infusions your self. Now if your personal lvl is 20 and you want to do lvl 50 Fractals , dont complain cause thats not how ANET intended it. (you DO NOT need ascended gear for lvl 50 fractals )

ANET design this game for 2 types of players ,

1: casual: Who want to slowly progress with out grinding.
2: hard core gamers : people that grind to get stuff faster.

its like comparing does FREE games on your phone/ internet browse. you build a farm , each thing takes a long time .. OR you can pay real $$ to advance faster.

same basics principle is applied to GW2. Welcome to 21st century gaming!

you are more likely to spend as much if not more gold on making a precursor then just getting it your self in the TP.

Computer random = not random at all . 100% pure randomness in programing is not possible. FYI.

This game has a steeper grind than nearly any other main stream MMO currently available. The only difference is it’s a mostly cosmetic grind, sans ascended. The only 2 I can think that are worse are L2 and TERA. And at least TERA got me excited about gear tier upgrades.

get the FREE ascended trinkets by doing daily… and run Fractals ,

by the time your personal level hits the part where you need AR , you will have found enough AR infusions to keep going up!!!!

if you dont run FRACTALS … then ascended is usless to have unless your like me and some other simply looking for a REASON to keep playing this game!!

Why would you ever use master salvage kits for blues/greens? Normal ones are cheap.

Anyways, by not salvaging, you are missing out on a lot of magic find. That, in my opinion, is foolish. Likewise, at the moment prices for mats are much higher than they have been in the past. It can be very profitable, especially with the added incentive of magic find increasing, to salvage.

Absolutely not. There is an extreme importance in the need to salvage, not sell.

I salvage ALL blues and greens wirh 2S or less value ..

For example , Rares i sale NEVER salvage. WHy? because its worth 20+s a pop .
i udnerstand you have a SMALL chance at getting Ectos , but iv seen people go 20-15 and other 0/20 .. so its ALWAYS A GAMBLE!

same thing with OPENING BAGS for mats . 80% of the time i find i get more $$ from selling the bag instead of opening it!!!

depends what you want to do , but selling item will generally yield MORE cash for you , unless you actually exploit every aspect of the game by doing all of the above!! (like crafting for cash )

as well , normally the only thing i do keep is potential MATS for LEG and items i KNOW i want to craft later on..

Dungeons:

- AC path 1-2-3 ( yes path 2 is as fast and easy as others )
– COF path 1-2
– TA path u/u , f/f
– CoE path 2-3
Thats 10g right there just from rewards , probably an other 4-8G from drops. (10-18g)

also you can use TOKENS from dungeon to get EXOS to salvage for big $$$$

CRAFTING:

Making Ascended Weapon mats ( deltrinum and Spirit wood) each sale for 3g~ a pop , FInd an efficient root to get the mats ( Iron and Platinum Ore ) you can get mats for this by doing 2/3 alt runs with 2/3 RICh veins each.

also more items you can craft for gold!! specially if you have spare mats!

World bosses and temples

each World boss and temple basically guaranty you 50~ silver(or more) ( rare + other drops )

FRACTALS

Fractals can yeild a phew Gold per Run as well ,

*Farming/GRIND *

yes you can also farm MOBS to get Drops like karka shells , Bags for mats (linen , silk , t6 mats etc…) etc…

FLIPPING On the TP

risky but its the BEST and fastest way to make cash ( i can make 1-500g/hour )
