I know how you people at anet love npc’s but please. Do not add more npc related nonsense to wvw. Keep that baby business in pve.

smart pve like ogre , dredge or hylek camps are very good type of pve and they need to add more like this or something like wildstar will add as a boss fight after a successfully capture of enemies keep.

mindless pve like centauvs and skirts that are doing nothing excpet make us wasting time to see what is attacking a camp , they should total remove and do not add something like that again.

all npc near wp/towers are good for scouters to pass their time more constructive than just sit there and scout and to increase the weapons stacks

I really don’t consider that smart pve. Its just more things to kill if you are caping a camp. With enough people you will do it fast enough for their npc bs to not matter. Where as if you are alone or duo you mostly avoid these because its a huge waste of time. Edge of the mists is really bad for this case as the players just run around and karma train and farm kills while npc do repairs, auto cannons, really tanky npcs.

If you want more npcs there is always pve. In wvw these things arnt required and I would expect anet to make more player interactive things and less to none pve elements.

i could easy answer to this “If you want more npcs there is always pve.” with this “If you want pure pvp there is always the spvp” , but i will not do it , because most of the players think tha www is just pvp.

they refuse to understand that the pvp is just one tool to have a victory and there are are many other parts in www that satisfy players with more needs from a mmo than to just pvp .

i know people that they love to use sieges, to scout in passive or in an active way , to run dollies or return an easy cap of a camp to a victory alone against a 5 men group by the help of these extra veteran npc …..

happened ? many times … and the feeling that you returned alone a lost to a victory is priceless !

the last weekend one or more players from an enemy server used map glitch to kill lords in upgraded towers . they succeeded to give a good score to their server and a big advantage like 12k points .

the result of their actions was to kitten off both servers that was the victims of their actions and turned both servers against them !

after 2 days of the hacker / glitch-ers actions they are behind in the score ….

After the last major update everything changed , but some things stopped working as indeed.

i do not want make you more tired than you are and i did a work for you and i added all the major bugs on weapons / armors / skills , runes and sigils that stopped to work after this patch.

i will start with my personal bugs because they affects the whole www .

now, the combo skills give the animations but they are not giving the bonus buff or utility as indeed. i found until now two.

  1. fire aura . it appears the animation but it is not increasing the power of the char and it is not burning anything
  2. cleansile bolts , it appears the animation , but it doesn’t remove any condition

i am trying to find the rest of the bugs on combos , but i need help from other players and need time.

Be careful what you guys wish for. We don’t need more EotM karma train maps.

karma trains exists because of the game mechanisms and not from the design of the map.

i will explain why .

karma trains exist because the defenders have nothing to win if they defend the objective. the rewards from defending are far less than the rewards from captures.

also , the claims in www and eotm have not any real meaning ( like fame ) and rewards ( like influence ) for guilds and most of the wvw and pve guilds , simple don’t care about objectives in wvw. this is a big mistake and makes the farming from massive zerg fights the only real option for all , and ofc they blob as hell.

also , there are many players ( most of them they are spending tons of gold for upgrades and sieges ) that are not satisfied at all with the logic of the home borders defense, because the north towers / garrison have the same defense as all objectives and anet made them easy for capturing .

be smart anet and redesign the map to satisfy ALL the types of players. if i was game designer , i will give waypoint in garrison all the times and i will change this upgrade with a night patrol upgrade … tons of 84 level NPC and a Real boss like lyssa ( that scales as hell against the blobs ) at night times ( and only ) of the server ….. if attackers fail to capture the gar and defeat lyssa, she will respawn in the middle of ruins area available for all available for one hour and respawn time 12 hours if nobody kills her to be killed in prime time of the server…. i think all can imagine what will happen when this boss appears and 3 servers meet each other in the middle of the map !!!

how long need this change ? less than month for sure and it will satisfy a lot of players , old and new , attackers and defenders . all love big chests loots .

ofc there are a lot of other changes that WvW community asked ( like better commander tag functionality , real gvg system , alliance system … ) but some small changes with great positive impact is that WvW needs now , even it is just big pve change . i prefer great pve and positive change than a bad pvp change right now in wvw.

WvW is your baby anet and it is the reason for a lot of people staying in game . carrying about it you will benefit in the future.

All of those things being true, we absolutely want to make new maps for WvW and when we have them ready to talk about and show off, believe me we will. It’s very important to us that when we do release a new WvW map it is a clear example of what we think the ideal WvW map would be. That means we will test the heck out of it and do everything we can to make sure it is even more awesome than the current maps. I realize this isn’t a timeline or an answer to where are more maps, but it’s as much as we can give you right now and it hopefully gives some insight to the size of the task. As I said, as soon as we have more to talk about or show, you will hear it.

change the game mechanisms Mr Carver please and most of the players will return or stay to continue playing WvW … or at least give some infos of what you really want to do .

most of people that i am speaking every day thinking to stop or have already stopped because of the NO news and of no real changes in WvW …..

ofc , maps WvW needs major changes , but i don’t think should be your first priority now if it needs too much time.

i have a full ascended guardian ( my first and beloved ), one semi ascended warrior ( both spec power and cond build ) and a cond thief full cond with only exotic on him .

with power guardian alone i need to use the tricks to capture the camp , with power warrior it is semi -easy , with cond warrior is easy and with cond thief i am walking on mobs …cond thief with krait is very powerfull : stealth and pew pew 1 key … way to big damage + bleed stacks

i did some research and i found that flickering can come from invalid voltage on the gpu chip ( Invalid Vddc ).

a quick tip : reset via “AMD Overdrive” disabling “Overdrive Graphics”

also i think that you installed the desktop drivers and not the mobile ones. so just run the cleaner amd tool : http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/AMD-Clean-Uninstall-Utility.aspx

My Idea For Ruins and Bloodlust

i think i have better idea from karma/ expl rewards on players because of farming exploit possibility

these ruin captures should affect only npcs ingame so they can be the starting point for a success capture or defend.

garrison has 2 top ruins near it .

if defenders control the 1 or the 2 ruins in the top garrison will have more powerful canons / oils ( structure siege ) / guards /npcs (not the players sieges) . if they have 2 of 2 top ruins the garrison will have much hp / toughness canons / oils ( structure siege ) / guards /npcs. (not the players sieges).

so the attackers must control the two top ruins with two different parties while they are attacking and defenders have a change to brake or a change for better defense against enemy’s attack ( special if the attackers bring a big zerg and thay have small group ) to stop them by fighting side by side with ally npc.

the same for left and right towers of garrison .

now the left and right keeps .

these two keeps have 1 ruin near them and one ruin shared in the south . the south ruins should be a baladeur when defenders loose it the two keeps npcs/keeps sieges hp/toughness (not the players sieges) will loose the hp /defend increase and if they loose the near them ruin the npc / sieges will loose the attack buff

these two buffs ( might and defend ) should be have a decay time when ruin change side of a small time 2 – 5 minutes, so the defenders should have some time to check what is happening.

ofc these buffs will not like supervisors buffs where nobody can attack it but increase of stats like the current bloodlust buff stats , but seprated in might and to defend buff

also the capture of a ruin should give some wxp , not much but some

this way

1. a zerg or a skilled guild team can still avoid or ignore to capture these ruins ( for no alert the defenders ) but defenders have an extra weapon against zergs or they win some time for better organize of the defending.

and

2. ofc nobody will say that the other side won because they have better stats

and

3. ofc gvg will remain UN-affected.

Corrections of existing system

1. the capture of ruins should not have auto decay time . they should be like spvp capture points . you capture it and it is yours until someone else captures it

2. eternal’s npc/sieges should no affect at all from this buff.eternal was the favorite map for all because it is small and funny . the problem was the big / boring servers borderlands

this what most of players do . most of players have not the transfer in their minds , special the players that have come from other games and know each other and if something is not satisfying them they choose an other way to escape from the problem.

This is definitely wrong to allow ingame features ( 3 and more golems , 4 and more ballista , 4 and more rams , etc ) to destroy a full upgrade keep in less than 5 minutes …

The w3 battles now are like a beep beep VS coyote battles and not epic battles where players stay and fight each other …

Fix it asap please ….

my problem in this game as philosophy is that there is not any room for defense style .

the first who attack always is the winner . this logic followed in www and we are see now the whole wvw is in deny .

the same is happening now in 1 vs 1 in this thread . the faster killer is always the winner . this will drive soon the 1 vs 1 in gw2 in deny too.

@OP .

i am playing 2 1/2 years the game most of the time (80%) in wvw . i have spent a lot of gold to upgrades and i am continue spending gold when it is needed .i have 6 chars 80 level , most of them leveled in wvw and with tome of knowledges and i have only 1 char geared of them in full ascended and …. I am not playing him anymore the other chars are in exotic and i really do not feel the need to make them full ascended . I am playing them every day in wvw and i full enjoy them !

the main reason is that the builds are change all the time and because the real difference between ascended and exotic is only 5% in stats and the knowledge of the game overlap the lower stats against my enemies . we can take ascended accessories easier in wvw than pve .

of course i am always using food and more of the times the 60-70 level because i don’t feel that the 1% difference can make me win all the times and it don’t .

in conclusion , exotic is still exists as gear in wvw and the food ,the tactics , the builds , the class and the cooperation in map with the allies matters more than the best gear !

p.s. in wvw tournaments i won ascended accessories for my chars , the other ascended accessories i bought them with badges and laurels from wvw merchants and i had once a hammer ascended as drop from a camp at 80 wvw rank

These 5 days i am reading the tech forums i am bored see people that can not play the game because they have corrupted dat file .

This is is a side effect of the the very often updates – patches and fixes …. and it is good that we have them ,but you must find a solution too …

I am thinking that the best solution is this : after every patch force repair and verify the client once

server side detection always need more server resources and sometimes are not available for a company ’s budget .

also , OP you are very wrong to ask this : “d.) using skills before they are ready” , because when a player has cc on him the skills can not used and thay have new delay that make us press the skill even it is not ready .

if someone do a research will find that hackers are using memory injection that nothing can prevent this , except other tools like punkbuster that scan continuously check the memory for injections. this solustion is expensive and can create more porblems to regular players than the hackers themselves .

my solution to problem , at least for under the map attacks is very easy and it is inside the anet’s dev possibilities .

redesign the www maps ( this is a demand from anyone that i know and play wvw a lot . these maps are old now ) and remove any map data under of the current map and make them all the www maps like eotm where if someone pass under the map he will fall and die . they can add the same eotm rules in www maps that force the player fall if pass down of the maps. whatever they inject the client or not. this is the reason that eotm has not these type of issues !!!

with zero damage cost in game it is a good method to find the pve bots too ( all maps include the pve maps and dungeons are suffering from this issue , because there is water or static map data under the map . a search on youtube and you will fiind a lot of videos ) , because some of them they will be too lazy to return to fix their armor and they will continue fight … naked :p

p.s. personal i stopped playing in www this weekend in aurora glade (all know what server have the hackers and we know and their clan too ) , after the last attack on my server from these hackers because i don’t allow anyone ruin my game time with lame methods like cheats.

the battle in gw2 designed for 5 vs 5 . see the skills limits and you can understand it easy .

gvg and wvw guilds was an unexpected gift for the game and anet is trying 2 years to kill it or to make it a niche extreme sport , with many ways and behaviors .

this is the definition of the “shooting in the leg” phrace meaning

P.S. i am not in any wvw or gvg guild now ( i was for a limit periods these 2 years in various wvw guilds , but my age can not afford the heat in these battles ) and i had fight them when they passed the limits in my server , but i recognize that this style of fight gives to the game something unique and it advertise the game and ofc … it doesn’t take anything !

if someone wants to measure the truth he has just to see how many of youtube wvw videos was from gvg / wvw guilds , how many from roamers and how many from pug commanders and also the views of them !

the major problem that have now the www is that there is not any place for any dedicated team to “write” his glory days. where is the guild leaderboard ? who is the better www guild ? the XxXxXxX ( fake guild ) ? who says it ? the Leaderboards is missing one more list . the guild score !!!

everything inside the old www maps is full of anonymity and simplicity

you want claim a camp and lord says that someone else claimed but we don’t know who to say a small thank you or to ask him in chat or in our server forums when he is leaving it without a single buff.

you claim something you upgrade it , you care about it for ages spending your time and you money and you have not a single reward for your/guild actions

now , all the www guilds and the dedictaed roamers have not any real reason ( influence , gold return from taxes or capturing and holding time ) to attack and defend a structure except to kill the lord and earn the loot from the chest.

very simple and it is against the meaning to be part of a strong team small or big ( a strong www guild ) that fights hard , has manage their coverage , their www buffs and protecting their claimed structures

pve causality in www maps now has no place because dedicated pve casuals can go in EotM and enjoy a different www experience anytime they want ( overflow ) without scores and upgrade costs or anyone to deal with them for their actions.

there is not any excuse from anet developers to keep old www maps in this casual mode now .causality can fill EotM with not single minute of queue

thank you ansau for you answer and your calculations . i have spent the 70% and more of this time in wvw game mode because i thought that will be all the time fun … and in this time i just realized with your calculations that i lost too much time refreshing sieges and loosing my time in a awful game mechanism . refreshing something that very few players care about it and never rewarded at least …

this makes me more sad. i loved the game but so much wasted time for refreshing sieges ….

the upcoming changes as an addition to the existent system on upgrades ( after expiration of buff lord ) are goods because help people focus on fights but what will be happened if a guild or a person want to control these upgrades or if enemies torture a server because for a big time period like late nights until early morning a server has not coverage to recapture their staff back and enemies auto upgrade them to t3 ?

today in eb we informed that one of our serevr’s pvp guild disbanded because of bloodlust.

the reason is that it ruined the custom gvg that had in south area in borderlands.

is this difficult to neutralize the south area from this buff to allow the pvp guilds continue have fun in their way ?

i think it is the easiest fix , ofc, if you want it to fix it

i want to also give one general advice to www game designers .

i am ok about changes , i want changes , all we want changes ,but these changes so far drastically change the game and you are creating bad feedback in your player base ……

this is not very wise you know !

do small changes and all will have time to deal with the changes and you will have time to correct the problems that are creating

first of all i will start saying that the existent wvw players will try to abuse the f2p system .

anyone that things that this will never happen he will lie to himself and to others.

my personal view is that i have not a single problem with f2p players . i like have them fill my server’s maps while i can not , but if there is a possibility from other wvw players abuse the f2p system , then i prefer not to have these accounts in our borderlands.

i am belonging to mmo players that love to explore and i can not say from perosnal experience if there are easy ways to level fast up to 60 level ( in my sevrer reported me that many up-l;evel their toons to 60 in 3 days and there are many ways to do it ) , but if there is a single option to do it , then all wvw maps will filled with huge number of f2p accounts from players from other servers soon. .

why to do it ? because of the benefits that will have in matchup .

one benefit is to totally block the access to their home borderlands to enemies by parking their f2p accounts to the opposite side !

other benefits are hacking, spying , trolling , botting or whatever . something that it is happening now , but limited because there are not many players out there to pay to risk loose money with bans by doing these actions.

if there is not any risk to loose money , all existent wvw players will try abuse the system , including my self ……

this will destroy the wvw as it is now .

p.s. in my home i have 3 different computers and in my work plenty and i am sure there are a lot of players out there that have at least one laptop or they are playing from internet cafe where there a lot of computers to help abuse this system !

p.ss. i have some news to share from my country . i have read from our game forums that all f2p created their toons in Seafarer Rest , desolation , piken square and gandara …. huh . if you think that f2p players will choose anything else than tier 1 you failed understand the human nature

the only that i don’t understand so far , is …. what is the reason of this thread ?

To fix the other healing skills, IMO i dont use signet but traited signet isnt that bad and almost a good alternative to shelter.

This being the only 2 skills Guardian as for healing skill slot, others not being used or a totally disgrace.

for a healing guardian ( with cleric/celestial spec ) in zergs/melee train the healing breeze as supporting heal to the front liners is perfect , but it needs good player for maximum results ( the cone ) and no eles to be important.

med and antitoxin both have issues and need review but …. the title is not about our healing skills , but for resolve vs shelter that i think is perfect choice under many situations.

the game is not only dungeons or spvp , it has pve and wvw and the guardian setups are not only med spvp builds .

the only real advantage in wvw is that you learn your server players and you can create communities and friendships with people .

pve and spvp* are both megaserver based and we are just an another player one of those anonymous players that play these gamemodes .

in my wvw server i know who is running the dollies , who is covering the north towers , who is killing enemy dollies and who is slacking in any capture

.* dedicated and teamed spvp is not anonymous but the majority is

Full RNG should not used in a mmo mechanism .

if mmos simulating the real life i really dont know a single man that had win a lotto and he continues play lotto to win.

also in a full rng system the only winner is the player that always is looking to find ways to exploit the loot system .

so the full rng system is pushing ALL ( most of them ) players to search for easy farming methods or exploits or make them avoid to use the ingame mechanisms because they know that they have no any change to win a precursor for example

all these are not creating a healthy mmo community

color commander tags can not win a fight/mathcups but numbers/coverage can and this is not going to change soon .

i really have bigger issue with siege disable trap that introduced than this

With the changes to adrenaline coming for warriors does that mean if a guardian blocks a warrior attack, the warrior loses adrenaline (after the new patch due this month). Will that not make it a more interesting fight between guardians and Warriors?

by total destroying skilled player tools the “fantastic” QA team of anet , they are destroying any will from skilled players to stay in game.

seriously question to QA team , not you spartacus .

the cleansing ire was the problem , the adrenaline or the first damages of 100b on warriors or the build of meditation that makes guardian a stun-eater ?

i am sure you have no clue what is wrong in-game skills /traits and you are doing wrong changes to every class . for the record PU mesmers still laugh with the changes on mesmers , as power thieves laughed in the past on the changes in ferocity

back on topic to guardians . the mediation build even with 72 seconds renew focus will have 72 seconds to eat as many stuns a warrior will deliver to him. he will be dead again from a skilled hammer warrior in the first 72 seconds …

@Agriope.4523 blob never had stability as a primary boon to have advantage , only small groups used it to have a chance against bigger groups .

I don’t buy that for a second thought. I mainly run with my guild. I also follow other pins or pin up for the map myself. The vast majority of pugs are in TS. They are very familiar with WvW. Large pug forces, in my experience are vastly more experienced, capable, and organized then you are implying.

there is nothing to do the experience with advantages that give the smart use of synergy skills in battle from smaller group against bigger.

examples from the past :

  1. experienced blob VS experienced guild raid = nice fight body 2 body until the mistake from one side .experienced blob has advantages and it will win the battle but not easy ! all will be happy because of the hardcore battle . guild members feel that are good and players from blob that they helped to stop the guild raid and they helped their server with their experience. hardcore battle.
  2. UN-experienced blob VS experienced guild raid = the guild raid slowly kill the no stability players and wipe them at the end . easy fight .
  3. experienced guild raid VS experienced guild raid = nice fight body 2 body until the mistake from one side or the bad strategy in fight. hardcore battle.
  4. UN-experienced guild raid VS experienced guild raid = hardcore wipe of UN-experienced guild .easy fight .

examples from the present :

  1. experienced blob VS experienced guild raid = fight only in choke points and very hard for the guild raid to counter the experienced blob . if open-field then the guild raid busted and wiped asap . easy fight overall and all are sad . guild raid members feel that are kitten and blob members are boring for the too easy fight.
  2. UN-experienced blob VS experienced guild raid = fight only in choke points and very hard for the guild raid to counter the UN-experienced blob . if open field , then the guild raid busted and wiped in seconds . there is a change for the guild raid in open-field if server allies come to help the fight and numbers are almost equals. some times easy , some times very hardcore for guild members .
  3. experienced guild raid VS experienced guild raid = nice fight body 2 body until the mistake from one side . hardcore battle.
  4. UN-experienced guild raid VS experienced guild raid = hardcore wipe of UN-experienced guild . easy fight.

in conclusion , nothing changed in gvg fights . the same results with past . only the guild raid vs blob is changed , except the situation where the guild raid is a …. blob

you must find a way to run the repair and verify line argument in the shortcut .this error code (0×80070716 – 1) is definately damaged dat file and it must repaired

BIG ISSUES ARE COMING :

  • Attacking situation . blob master to his blob :

guys drop one disable trap in front of gate every 20 seconds and type /laugh in chat and start counting 20 secs for the next ….

  • Defending situation . Defense Com in chat :

guys park your chars in front of every gate with disable traps and when you see the blob is coming , build them

nice ….. nothing changed . Coverage , AFK gaming wins again !!!!

There is a difference between “The game is dying”

And “The player generation I enjoyed the game with is leaving.”

also it is different the “game is dying” from “wvw is dying”

eotm shoot hard wvw 9 months ago …. at least it is the only truth around .

the game is not bad , never was , but wvw is the same very long time and since it is the meta pvpve content for the game this is not good for people that want some progress and major changes in the game mode that are playing so many hours every day.

p.s. these centaurs are very annoying me some times in home borders

the www is going to be more siege weapon warfare than a players warfare and this is boring and wrong.

they could increase the defend of upgraded structures and npc in www maps but what exists now ( arrow carts , traps ) is plain stupid and f@cking boring .

they can fix the fault patch by removing the ability from arrow carts to damage enemy sieges and only giving this extra big damage ( +80% ) to outnumbered buff and maybe to all sieges just to give a will for fight to defenders when they are facing big zergs and they are few against them.

p.s. also the range of arrow carts must be the lower of all other sieges because arrow cart is an aoe anti infantry weapon . it is still wrong because arrow carts must have the ability to hit just next to them and now they can’t

there is nothing wrong with the patch and AC buff

its sad to see how many people are crying because 100 of them cant mash 1 on reinforced doors and capture it in 2mins anymore

finally you have to use strategy and brain to do something but i guess thats to much for some people

im from Gandara and yesterday we lost Bay from AG (Guilds DAWN and NP or NR hmmm)
anyway they did it briliantly…they got outer gate before we even noticed it….then treb inner walls….we couldnt stop them so we built lot of siege inside lords room and they knew it….so they just portal bombed us and wiped easy

game finally gets more then just 100 people following 1 commander and pressing 1 on the doors

and today you took from us bravost ( T2 tower almost T3 , you broke the progress and you changed everything in the map ) that had an equal number from our side to defend it against your forces …. and the most funny thing was again arrow carts …our people build arrow carts in the side where treb hit

gz for the capture !!! today in eb we had epic fights in the whole map . my inventory fulled many times with loots and badges , i am sure yours too !

p.s. i cant remember how many times sm changed owner … Sure AC can STOP the attackers

Edit: In no way do I want NCSoft to gain money that they don’t deserve but for the sake of WvW getting some attention, I feel that this should be discussed.

i will quote only on this and i will answer in personal base , not what i am hearing from others.

personal i want from devs to put some logic in their actions ….

examples :

1.. maintenance oil …. materials cost : 25 gold . what it offers ? for 5-10 min everyone take for 1,5 hour something that alone can craft / buy with 10 silver .

why someone to craft or buy something with so huge materials cost for only 1,5 hour ? to help others ? are you kitten me dear dev ?

2. trinkets . there some situations where an exotic trinket + upgrade has better and more useful stats than ascended . i am not going deep on this but there are and posted in official forums too.

3. wvw rewards : all rewards are not changed at all after eotm …. the only reason to stay in wvw maps is for server’s pride , not for rewards .after megaserver system this pride is going lower day by day ….

4. armor looks . personal view : armors in TP. except krytan , everything is total garbage . there is not an single armor look to make feel a player for his character a real medieval warrior . all are fancies , lights and not as good as the most of dungeon armors.

5. salvage wvw weapon/armor . i really can not find a single reason , why can not salvaged something that the player spend gold to take it …. lower the materials incoming to not pass the gold cost dear dev , do not forbid it please .

6. exotic vs ascended stats : the time and money that someone spends to craft ascended is not noticed anywhere in game . right now a 10 men with exotic overkill 5 men with ascended ….easy . this is a real bad game design example .there are more but i don’t want name them now .

7. professional behavior : i don’t want see again photo from devs to play with anet icon in any wvw server. this behavior lowers the respect for them . you want involved ? create a /gm chat and speak with anyone by this way when you want to communicate with players like all other mmo companies do. there is a reason for this distance between players and devs / gm . this called professional behavior.

8,9, etc …. i can write wall of texts but i stop here.

so for the main question what i want from them to buy ?

the answer is: fix the problems that created your illogical stance against players / game and i/we ( this is something that most of people say ) will buy gems again . we will find ways to spend them or not ….. until now , i bought gems only to help the game , not because i really need them ……

I know how you people at anet love npc’s but please. Do not add more npc related nonsense to wvw. Keep that baby business in pve.

smart pve like ogre , dredge or hylek camps are very good type of pve and they need to add more like this or something like wildstar will add as a boss fight after a successfully capture of enemies keep.

mindless pve like centauvs and skirts that are doing nothing excpet make us wasting time to see what is attacking a camp , they should total remove and do not add something like that again.

all npc near wp/towers are good for scouters to pass their time more constructive than just sit there and scout and to increase the weapons stacks

dear Aidan you can be much more generous with wvw players , because you know or it is time to know it , that the net income we all created ( from uploads and views ) is huge and it is equal or better the gw2 pve or spvp videos on youtube .

i happy that i help and as i said in other thread where a player found the problem with cpu_parking is coming from a very bad default power option in win 7,8 that keeps when the pc is plugged the pci cards in not high perfomance state but in balanced.

this alone creates many performance issues when player choose to play games because the vga ( pci card ) has not full power to work

if someone must blamed is the microsoft’s dev that set in balanced power option when the pc is plugged in ac to not have high performance settings

Servers Tanking Before Tournament

if i am understanding correct the phrase tanking the problem is coming that all people want to go to tier 1 and to first servers because of bigger chance of the best results and as result of this to have better rewards .

so the problem is coming from rewards and not so much from the current position.

i had suggested in the past the first prices are not double from the the third , but anet continues to give the double rewards to first server and they are screwing the second and much more the third .

in real sport leagues same happens ( big cities , have big money and big teams ) , but iin gw2 this situation creates paradise servers with 300% coverage all the time and toxic servers that nobody wants to be in ….

for this reason the prices should be

first : 200 , second : 175 , third : 150 and not 200 / 150 /100 as it is now.

in 4 weeks tournament one server with 4 wins will have 800 tournament tickets and one server with 4 defeats will have 600 tournament tickets .600 tickets is a good reward compared to 800 …. 400 is the half of 800 and people join the servers with more chances to have 800 tickets after 4 weeks.

now a bad coverage server ( history proved that bad coverage servers have better players ) with 4 defeats will win the half rewards from a server that have 100% coverage all the time .

p.s. i hope server transfers that triggers the current reward system is not something that is coming from any business model …..
