I don’t see anyone ever fighting on my server at teq, but I do note a lack of willingness for people to do anything other than queensdale and frostgorge champ farm. And there is a lot of fighting thx to the trolls that like to kill champs out of order.

I need to pick a class that can do the ranged dps in soldier’s gear for that first 25%.
Which class would likely be the best for this?

Crystal Desert 75% failed laser no reward.

30 minutes of me looking on the trading post to compare prices.
I have 8 characters. Why do I need to spend 200 hours to play them if I want?

Turning everything into daily content just creates a chore list.
Players do content and then log off. Which just creates less people playing the game.

20 bags a day is also a terrible amount. More than that can be gathered within one invasion.

I really like the new dagger. It’s lack of particle effects make it all the better.
I wish there would be more focus on armor and weapon designs and less on adding particles so people can look like Christmas trees.

100% of the player base didn’t matter it was biased from the beginning.
the vote was only fairly evenly split because it was designed to be.

you had to put at least 2 tokens into each candidate to get the daily achieve for them, they could have designed it so that you could have chosen who to support while gaining neutral achievements

ie do X dailies while supporting either candidate instead of do x for keil and x for evon

I’m sure the 6 votes I put in for Evon were out weighed by the 230 votes I put in for keil

The 18 servers that say very high or the 6 just say high?

Ye, Abyss is overrated and everyone has it.
Plus it looks terrible on low settings without highlights.

I tend to use the other grays or really bright reds.

Teq is dying so fast on crystal desert. Hes dead as soon as he spawns.
A loading screen takes longer than it does to kill him.

So many people at events now its terrible.
Wish people would crawl back into their instances.

Seems like the type of people who were complaining yesterday just wanted to be able to clear their daily by sitting in lions arch.

I don’t understand why they can’t just let us choose from all the dailies. Why is it still randomized? I thought we were supposed to be able to choose whatever we want, but it’s still limited and randomized daily, even if there are more than 5 to choose from now.

After you complete 5 dailies for your reward you can still do the others for xp.
Having maybe 50 or how many options may make leveling too easy or something.

Guess either extinct or moved else where. I Miss having mobs based on class types.

I say delete elementalists. But yes, there would be way to make this more interesting.

I don’t have a single issue with this patch.

It’s not even difficult to take 3-4 mobs on while your the same level.
So what does making it a wee-bit more difficult for levels 80s even do?

I don’t do dungeons so I haven’t completed a monthly since like September.

Either roll a ranger and use your spear underwater. Your basic attack lets you dodge.

Or you can find a mob like a drake that has a flamethrower ability and just roll into it. You’ll rack up dodge points instantly.

Capture the point only; no deathmatch. Nope, not happy.

I can barely see the red circle as well.
Its so transparent and thin I don’t even notice it fast enough to react.

Not even color blind.

Seeing 13xp gain is pretty disheartening a lot of the time.

Fastest way I’ve found to level is by doing the daily along with hearts, story and events.

I can’t be bothered to level via crafting or wvw.

Game is currently lacks many tools to be an e-sport. As well as popularity. If nobody wants to watch the game then sponsors won’t put money into teams. So you won’t see GW2 showing up at your MLGs and IPLs unless ANET is going to be the one to back all these teams financially or run their own LAN tournaments.

Just went solo with my nec and bulldozed it with locust swarm, plaguuu, and a dagger.
I’d say there is a chance of it bugging out when people leave the instance.

Because I know I’ve destroyed everything on my previous runs.

Fire bombed the crap out of this place with my engi and a ele for like an hour.
We bombed the trees, we bombed the rubble, we bombed fences.

No idea whats still standing.

People play healers because it’s relatively easy to do. Healing becomes redundant. healing is about DPSing your fellow players with heals.

Go on youtube and check a good Monk in RA on gw1… It’s all but spamming heal. And definitely less redundant than any DPS build…

No matter how much skill it takes to heal its still nothing more than a glorified game of whack a mole and an often thankless job.

There is an open world in this game? Guess there are more definitions than just one.

Open world to me means that an area is open to the public and anyone can join without having to form a group to all appear in the same instance.

Its mostly do to the world lighting.

But colors are also dependent on what materials they show up on.
I believe that metal and cloth are more vibrant than leather.

I prefer open world content. I have yet to do a single dungeon in this game simply because of the lack of group finding tools. Dungeons are gated content. I do not enjoy looking for players to join my party or sitting around while someone else does it. I did plenty of that in other mmos. I do not have a cluster of friends that play mmos or a 500 person guild of ready to go players so content for me has to either be soloable or easy to access.

Agreed. There are 40 different Rare Crafting Materials and I have a ton sitting in my bank taking up space.

Which pieces of armor will make my Norn look most like a Space Marine?

Planning on making a Norn Guardian in the future and I want him to look as much a Space Marine as possible. What’s the best mis-mash of heavy armor bits I can put together to get this effect?

I haven’t found any dye drops in 3 days.
Master Tools seem to have little to no noticeable effect.

Level 80 is high enough. I wish this game stopped at level 50 tbh.

The whole no gear progression thing worked for GW1. It was a small game with a low level cap…very VERY pvp based.

That will not fly here. GW2 is already losing numbers; and will continue to. There is nothing to do at level 80! Playing dress up only goes so far.

A gear treadmill would be where you are constantly powering up your gear (look at traditional MMOs). If Anet employs this every 3-6 months…How in the heck is that a treadmill (upgrading your armor every 3-6 months…or what ever is NOT a treadmill..geez)? For an actual gamer, that’s still slow as kitten. All the while, you’re still stuck at level 80.

This game will continue to lose more players if there’s isn’t anything to do on the PVE side of things. Right now, the end game is playing dress up…and I’m already done with that.

New skins? What if I don’t like them? Stuck waiting for the next batch.

For an actual gamer like me. I play lots of other games. Devoting months of play time to keep up with a gear curb is a nightmare for me. It becomes a job. During gw1 there were years of time I didn’t spend playing, but I could always pick the game back up and be with the best of the best. I didn’t have to grind badge gear so I can be told I needed t10 to do a t9 raid.

Turns out the light armor used to be a necromancer set from gw1.
Then they switched it to a different necro set but it doesn’t look right.
So it looks like a power ranger suit.

There’s a lot of people doing a lot of things in every part of the world.

There needs to be more goggles and fancy hats.

I play both males and females, but I always feel more social as a female character.
Maybe its just some instinct role playing.
