Blindly running around to search for resource nodes is a pain. I originally thought it would be cool if we could place several markers on the map to help us remember spawn locations, but figured it would be better if your map remembered node locations once you’ve gathered from it once.
I’m relying on online maps for locations right now, but they can’t tell me which ones are currently spawned :/
Please consider making it less of a hassle for gatherers
A quick look on the mini map will show you if someone is down or dead :/
Agreed. GW2 could really use a real LFG function.
I’d prefer Dual-Pistols for my mesmer lol
I hope they become account based. I see no point in collecting them if they’re limited to a single character instead of my many.
I don’t see how it would be considered broken. Its not like your chances of finding an item are X% out of 100.
Loving the idea of Katana and Nodachi in the game
I believe ANet stated housing was a feature being planned for a future release in an interview somewhere.
I find it annoying that newly spawned enemies attack instantly the moment they appear on the map. You clear out a passage to gain entry to a cave or something, then another 2-4 enemies spawn and keep you from progressing. Enemies should be put on a timer, to prevent them from attacking players first for 5-10 seconds when they spawn.
I’m hoping to see an added function of Alliances between Guilds. As it stands, new guilds have little to no chance of recruiting new players when they don’t have a substantial roster to begin with. Most players just take a look at your small number of guild mates, then leave.
I suggest an alliance feature. Players who are already in guilds may “Invite” each other. Technically, they don’t join each others guilds, but both benefit by the additional influence gained as if they did join. If one person leaves the pair, it is removed entirely, to encourage people not to just leave right away and reap the benefits while the other gets nothing.
This will give reason for bigger guilds to help out, while giving new guilds a fair chance to prosper.
I think the game should give curing priority to conditions that are an immediate danger to the players health. I recently got downed after being attacked by a swarm of Risen, who inflicted a bunch of conditions on me. I used mending to heal them, but it only removed Vulnerable and Cripple, instead of the Poison stack taking off 40% of my health per tick.
Either give priority to Bleed, Poison and Burn, or give players a drop down of what types of conditions they want removed first.
I fully agree. Dye’s should be shared across your account. It’s bad enough that you get duplicates.
So would I really. I thought having unique skill sets per weapon was an interesting concept at first, but it really just forces you to choose between weapons you like, or skills you like :/
As a Warrior, I had planned on using a bow, but the rifle is better for how I wanted to play. A few skills to choose from would be nice.
I find that some weapons limit the way you’d like to play your class. I’d like to see the ability to swap out certain skills depending on the weapons you’ve mastered. For instance, swapping skills between swords and greatswords, or staffs and sceptors. I think it would give players a little more freedom with their customization choice, so long as the choices were looked over beforehand to prevent anything too broken from being abused.
Really? I assumed you couldn’t since they didn’t have a dedicated spot in the Hero Window. I’ll have to test it out then.
If they don’t appear in the discovery panel, then there are no recepies that can be discovered with those items. Some items I had stopped appearing once I found all of their unknown uses. Some don’t have any use other than production.
I know your weapon is forced to switch to an underwater one. I’m talking about Utility skills, not weapon skills.
The Black Lion Salvage Kit has a 100% chance. They can either be bought with gems, or randomly given as a reward by completing daily achievements.
Depends. Rangers are able to charm wild animals to fight alongside them. The only thing an Engineer can do is buy the minis from the Black Lion Trading Company with Gems. Those ones don’t fight though.
It seems all the Utility skills I enjoy fighting with can’t be used underwater. That means I’ll either have to dive in naked, or switch my skills everytime I need to go into water. Anyone else hoping for this inclusion?
