Please let us switch attunements mid overload. Being able to take advantage of damage modifiers cross attunements is something the elementalist is dependant on. It would also allow for more skillful play as it would be a bit harder for enemies to read what will happen instead of just standing there looking at the spelleffects like they do now.

Attunement to overload cooldown:
It needs to be lowered by 50% to 2,5 seconds. Right now it is way to easy to read for opponents and way to long to sit in some attunements for PvE

Healing on water overload:
It heals for around 500 per tick right now unless going deep into healing power. This is the same as warrior does with a passive signet and a guardian do with an Empower with some fluff healing power. Increase the heal by a decent amount and lower scaling with healing power instead. Don’t force healing power stacking when you know what happens with the rest of the profession by doing so

Auras applying after overloads
Auras need to apply when starting an overload. It makes the overloads more of a force to be reckoned with and allows for more play with overloads. Right now it feels that risk is to high unless in air attunement

Rebound not an elite
Rebound does still not feel like an elite. I think the healing needs to be higher if being hit by a fatal blow. This should feel like something that can change the course of a fight, not a slight delay before downstate.

Warhorn speed
When an elementalist is dual wielding they are put into a more twitchy playstyle with fast attacks. Warhorn is pretty much turning a dual wielding weaponset into a Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde scenario with a fast mainhand and a slow moving off hand. The entire pace of the warhorn feels extremely off when used for an elementalist. I would love to see a increase in the attackspeed for the warhorn to make it feel more fluid

Oh and you missed a big kittening opportunity with the warhorn by having an elementalist, master of wind to actually be using the warhorn solely by blowing into it. Seriously kittened that up by not experimenting more with animations like you did with Reaper and Revenant.

Tempest completely lack identity and feels like things have just been plastered on to make it look cool, but even that it does not do. Every spell effect besides some shouts lacks all kind of elemental identity. A lot of specializations do elemental looking stuff way more impressive than the tempest.

I still have some hopes for it since this BWE was a small step towards something better, but right now I will just keep dragging along my staff and my fire/air/water specc looking at the other specializations trashing the jungle :/

Wouldn’t it be cool if all players could play and compete with others in epic, big battles?
And wouldn’t it be cool if through these week long sieges you could earn some great rewards?
And wouldn’t it be totally amazing, if those rewards, showed everybody, everywhere, how much you kicked kitten in World vs World?

All the reports so far from players have been like

“Hey Anet. Towers are bugged. Can glitch through doors using leaps, smashes, teleports etc. Please fix”

And Anet have been all like

“Nope, not really sure. This is vague. Not sure What they mean with glitch through the door to get inside tower”

Then one of the devs glitch through the door

I like how people whine about GvGs and then try to come and interupt. The extra loot is always welcome, cause you are always running into players that are better than you if you are small enough to not let people enjoy the game their way

Just when I thought I was aaalmost done with this game we get Far Shiverpeaks and FSV GvG to get my spirits back up. That was one intense GvG and we learned alot from the first two rounds and altered our tactics for the last 3.

And thanks FSP for tearing down the inner SM door to 35% earlier today. Made my job so much easier to reset that motherkittening germans t3 kittenhole where they bunkered up on mortars and trebs all day.

Good fights at FSP bl tonight. Sorry for the occassional blobbing from Gandara, but it was needed to take down some of the joint attacks on Bay etc. This is also what happens when we only had guild groups on the map with the same ideas at times.

We all know you intended World vs World to be a game mode for casual playing. Where people enter and play for a hour and then log back out. There is a reason you made this available at level 2.

But haven’t you noticed the trend among the community? How players took this game mode and created fully fledged server forums, server VOIPs, and started to build communities. Some servers had alot of server pride and WvWers of their servers knew eachother by name. Huge guild groups made it the sole purpose of the game to play WvW. Guilds created their own Guild vs Guild options (look at gw2gvg.com) inside the game, fighting each other while server mates sat on the side line cheering. Guilds made a name for themselves in the game.

Not very casual would you say?

ArenaNet is now sitting on a depleted gold mine. You are the only game with a mode like this that the players actually tried to make their own. These are the people that still queue up all borderlands during prime time, but queues are getting shorter and disappears one by one every week now.

Match-making that we were told would “adjust itself in a couple of weeks” is still totally random it seems. Havent had a even fight since the match making system changed.

Options like Mortar Mastery and Repair Mastery is a slap in the face for any “hardcore” WvW community. Yes, WvW community exists, we are just getting fewer for every passing reset and update where we are neglected. “NEW WVW FEATURE: Mortar Mastery” is not what the community have asked for by a long shot. People want Molten Facility as a fractal? No problem. News on that hit just 3 or 4 patches after it got removed.

Mechanics in WvW still flawed. Numbers beat all. Crossing the map still goes in a blink of an eye. Maps still generic and smaller than a PvE explorable map even if devs have stated they can not be bigger due to some systems. Huge parts of the maps wasted on water, pve mobs and pve events. Do some statistics on where players travel and where they fight. Alter the maps with your findings!

I want to still enjoy WvW, I really do. WvW in GW2 have so much potential. You fixed the culling with a supeb result. Now it is time to really make it shine. 1 year have passed and WvW is in dire need of attention. WvW is not the casual playground you thought it would be. It attracted hardcore guilds and playergroups that press “B” the moment they log on to the game. Players that still have 11% map completion and is on the level 3 part of their story quests and have not a kittening clue what the Vigil is or when Jormag spawns.

I know this post will be removed by a mod, but will still continue to nag to get some attention around what WvW is about to become.

It is time to let them go Anet. Let them go into their natural homes in Harathi Hinterlands. It is time to just demolish those camps to the ground and spread the towers of the map out. There is just so much great terrain and space around there to take advantage of.

Would be funny to see some statistics about how many people that used that area for anything besides getting the skillpoint.

So Anet. It is time to expand upon the gameplay people actually log into a borderlands to play and give us even more land to play in. Land you already have in the game. You say you cant expand the borderland maps due to your systems won´t allow it. So then atleast take advantage of the land that is already there!

I would rather say alot of them are better players than what we have faced in higher tiers. The only difference is coverage. Just attack Gandara borderlands. Still not a commander willing to set up siege to defend or anything. Try to say something in map chat, but kinda impossible since they will rather revive YOLO guild, that should be dead and buried by now, and “roflstomp” WXP objectives.

Gandara is a simple server. We love our guild groups and our guild groups love to fight. We do not really like hitting a door. So when we have a enemy group on the map no matter the size our groups will take the necessary steps needed to fight them. Cause we want to fight. If that means 3 guilds grouping up to do so, we will do so, to get the fight we want. In a perfect world things will look close to what they did in MS lands today. Where guild groups of around the same size just clashed at eachother for hours. I saw 2 siege engines dropped in 2 hours, and in the same time I saw around 146 war banners.

Now if we meet a zerg consisting of good players. We try first to see how good they are. If it fails we call for some help. If TDA comes that means 6 or 7 people Still not enough right? So lets say we call one more. XxX comes. Lets say we push that. Fight starts. BIG ORANGE SWORDS. What happens? The last guild group on the map sees it. Comes over. Its ONS. You have a fight.

Well basically, if one of your guilds would have hit anything else on the map we would have had to split. It’s all about tactics in the end, isn’t it? Also, doesn’t seem like a fair fight, does it? Four WvW guilds versus a pugzerg, I think that you did it a bit overkill, mister In the end we were almost even in numbers, so 50 WvW guildies versus 60 pugs, very nice, very nice!

Well. They chose the tactic of grouping up and wearing your zerg down until you would eventually leave or something. Thats just as valid tactic as zerging is. Come to our border with your 100 people. We would just need 8 guilds then

MS border was amazing fun today for Dius. TUP, we stand hardly any chance against you at the moment, but we learn so much from every encounter and we do actually take some pride in surviving and downing the ones of you we do catch.

MYA. We truly enjoyed fighting you today and god kitten you have some necros that hit the kitten out of me. Fights versus you was probably the best all night due to you being a good guild and we had close to even numbers. Continue to run alone like you did tonight cause we love fighting you.

Rest of MS border was very fun for about 2 or 3 hours until most guild groups called it and the pug blobbing started. To the AG group of 40 people on the bridge over to Heroes Lodge. Did you really need 2 arrow carts and a ballista to fight 18 Dius? Did you really fear us that much that you couldnt charge us? And did you really have to call in DAWN to help you out when we wasnt stupid enough to charge your bridge? Pathetic. Sorry.

DAWN on the other hand. Nice fights You have become very strong since I last ran into you
