If you get a huge morning squad aswell from HaoX or whatever will unfortunatly unbalance things a bit, but nothing anyone can do with it.

It is the Swirling Winds from Air Attunement with Focus off hand.

You stand close to the thing you want to protect and use Swirling Winds before the siege is damaging what you are defending. For a proper full defense you need elementalists to rotate this ability

Scepter will be even better for WvW when they add the piercing effect to Air auto attack Will be very interesting to test it when patched. Have a feeling it will work wonders for small scale combat like 1 vs 2/3/4

We are selling a fancy garrison located in the middle of Far Shiverpeaks. The garrison is a huge property with state of the art walls, stairs and modern portals to escort you safely through the walls.

As it stands now it has a beautiful view of the scenery around it and got water access.

It does have some damage to pretty much all the walls and gates, but for a property like this it is worth it. Well, basicly every gate is down and so is 50% of all walls. Other than this it is a state of the art garrison

Ur making out that we have somehow introduced blobbing to both Gandara and AR… thats simply not true. We all know that AR run the most monster megazergs and u will hardly ever bump into a small groups of them. If anyone is to blame for an arms race in creating the most efficient blob then i suggest pointing at AR. I would estimate that our zergs/blobs/groups that run round in WvW under a commander badge r split 50/50 between guild groups or pug groups. So u cant blame this on Piken or Piken guilds…

I can honestly say that its extremely rare for ANY of our zergs to have more than 30 players present, on average theyre around 15-20.

What it really sounds like people r hating is the blob initial attack which involves stacking, buffing then charging in stealth and bombing into the enemy zerg. ultimately this inital hit causes carnage and downs half of the enemy team. If ur talking about us introducing this style of play to this tier then id probably agree with u cos thats exactly how the higher tiers play.

I would also agree that we have probably introduced more efficient and effective blobs simply cos we needed to learn fast to survive

And fyi our blob attacks r not even close to as powerful as it is in tiers 1 and 2…!

Relax. As I said. I dont blame you for it. And please. I only categorize it as zerg or blob from my point of view. From what I have experienced so far in the game. I have not been t1 or t2, and if its even worse there, then I have seen the highest rank I want to see in this game tbh.

Yes AR zergs are bigger, and they dont do fancy stuff cause they can just move over you due to size, the thing with Pikens is that you have good guilds. You then set up two of these guilds together. You then apply your tactics to them like invis, movement etc. When we then meet you with only 12 – 15 people.. Well, you know what will happen We are simply not used to it. And with the current culling and stuff, those numbers kills the fun for a smaller group. As I said. I do not blame you for it, since you have adapted to this. And for all I know it was the other way around in higher tiers. You getting overrun by even bigger groups.

This has resulted in alot of guilds in Gandara cut down on events or put events on pause until patch day where hopefully Anet will promote more group play Again resulting in what is left of players to just ball up and defend what we can defend.

We have proven that we could win in this tier and while that was fun I hope that if we have more weeks together, that smaller groups will be more common during prime time. I just hope it for the sake of fun in this game. Or that the patch brings some wonders. Yeah. That will happen!

Think dangerdooms numbers is a bit exaggerated tbh, and I think he knows it aswell HoB is a class guild that play well together and I like your playstyle. You do not blob, zerg whatever. The times I encountered HoB this week they been alone. Your numbers are greater than our guild, but we are on a semi break until patch Needs to let people blow some steam elsewhere

The 3 way fight in SE part of AR map tonight was really fun. Huge BLAK presence on the bridge hitting full 25 HoB group. Gandara sitting with 15 people by the tunnel entrance hitting the last server to pull out from the fight. Was funny to watch

I wanna face Aurora Glade again. So close to T4! Piken has some nice guilds tho but having played a few times in the last weeks, i got more and more demotivated and angry at this format. It’s weird how much more fun the other tier was and i doubt anything has changed

FYI the final week we (Piken) were in T2 against SFR and JS we scored a total of about 25k and SFR about 350k… now thats called being utterly dominated and destroyed to the point of despair…

If u guys r having trouble with little Piken now and u wanna go up a tier then u got a whole world of pain to look forward to up there I can assure u

You didn’t read my post, did you? The whole point of me wanting to go back to T4/5 is because there is A LOT less zerging/blobbing which results in less skill lag, culling etc. which results in more fun.

Having to deal with Piken has nothing to do with it. Heck, we won last week if you can still remember lol. To prove my point. We faced Piken back in T4 as well and it was a lot more fun and less zergy. So i’m pretty sure it’s just the tier and the way servers adapt to it.

So now when in old Piken they favoured the fun of small scale encounters they now enjoy trains and forumposts where they bolster about the amount of badges they have they can use on nothing. In old Piken they had some truly awesome guilds (still got some though) like TUP and those people we even have on our own forums cause they are fun But those days are past. Zergs and blobs and 30 feet leashes is the way to go nowadays. Game favours it cause maps are small and chokepoints are few. You can carry more supply and need less siege on doors due to raw manpower.

Looks like Riverside maybe will take our spot (maybe) and its a good thing for both tiers I think since they are a server that is more used to this style of play. (EXCEPT REQ OFC<3).

Anyway, thanks for the not so fun night at AR borderlands today. HoB you hit like a tank with a attackchopper and jet mounted on it! BLAK, your numbers are impressive. Also thanks to LAR and ofc LOOT

New project. Take a lvl 2 necro to WvW. Set it up against a certain mid day zerg and see how many badges I can get before friday. Started today and are at 85 now and level 4. Cant wait to get wells

If enemy number is 53.4% lower than this number then outmanned is activated IF more than 9 dolyaks is alive on the map.
If enemy number is above 53.4% then outmanned is taken away IF the damage on walls in total on the map is exactly 430%, 506% or 801%

Or its just the server that have the least amount of people on the map. Even if AR hard 50 there, then you maybe had 100 in total all over the map, not giving you outmanned

I am up to 9 deaths now thanks to a certain someone Good fun today. Defense at Bay in GBL was intense and good fun. For me there was little to no skill lag and no fps drop during fights. And some of them was quite epic. Finally had the chance of being in a group with same numbers as Nug/SPRT+friends and was fun fighting you. You had some quick execution of tactics. Gandara Randoms was led by Lloantix who did such a good job:)

Thanks HoB, GNOU and others for some of the fun fights at EB later in the night.

Really? Still not understanding the basics here? Even though you are “medium populated” which for you seems to be the gold almighty definition of how many that are in WvW, Piken still have the strongest pre primetime of the three servers due to your eastern europe population. This is the zergy part of Piken. You all just blob up and take whatever in your wake with omegas and stuff. A valid tactic since you play on your strengths.

When this is done its more common to see Piken guilds roaming with smaller numbers during our prime time.

So please just kittening try to understand that we dont mean that ONE guild is so huge they are a zerg. But your pre primetime group its just one big zerg transferring maps when needed. And it is so stronk!

But ofc since we are a very high populated server of only wvw´ers we just call in 200 on the map to stop it… Oh wait!

Anyway. Never gotten so many badges as I do these 3 weeks so far, and with the patch soon to come I am happy. Had to buy myself some armor for the skins cause I ran out of space for my badges. Btw. Counting deaths each match up. Two so far this week. Come at me bro!

Stop thinking I mean that NUG alone is a zerg. Its your total number versus the numbers you meet in your primetime that makes it a zerg. But this is like beating my head against the wall trying to get people to understand.

I think one of the most amusing things on these forums is watching these horrible hotjoiner eles trying to convince top players that they’re bad because said top players are calling eles overpowered.

The class is absolutely disgusting and does not require massive skill to be extremely powerful. All it needs is the right build.

You can be a r30 bunker ele with little to no real experience and still pose an absurd threat to the enemy team by just pushing their close.

Yeah, that’s because you have the wrong build. Eles wont ‘’instantly die’‘, even when they’re up vs a thief, a mesmer and a warrior from stealth burst together with the correct build. They’ll be able to rtl+blink back to mid, reset their health and push close again whenever they feel like it.

Dont know what “primetime” Puru is in, but we have good presence during the day. Gandara dont go outman buffed after 17:00 more or less. Sometimes ofc on the occasional odd map.

And he claims to be red, as Gandara. So he cant been a Gandaran very long if this is the way he characterize our fighting style.

Just turned 80 on my guardian and decked it in clerics. I see you use soldier rings, but what would you say to do the ascended multistat gear? Switch amulet and rings with all stats? Wouldnt it pretty much balance it out + giving you alot more crit etc?

Only reason trebs are placed inside towers and kitten is that the distance between towers and keeps in this game is so stupid low that it actually makes it possible. Good thing people want it this way though. It is so exciting!

It is time to remove the option to build trebs inside keeps and towers. This is so freaking cowardly and stupid. Would be way more fun to both defend and attack if you actually would have fights outside of walls rather than “fireball” “another one” “fireball” “one more” “alo ele swirl pl0x”

If they polearms they would just do it wrong. Look at the way they did 2 handed hammers. You dont swing your hammer like that to do most damage. The right hands is way to high on the shaft. There is no pendulum effect on hammer swings in the game. Sad really cause attacks with hammer would look so much cooler with it :/

lol. Maybe not the average overused armor colors, but atleast his colors goes together. I seen way worse color combos on people who thought they had a epic painted armor set of doom
