While I did not get all the achievements, it did set the character I used to 0% Map Completion.

Im in the same boat ive been going for 6 hours, im at 2.3gb.

im at 1400mb atm and its still going. Thats 1400mb on the last file, the 900mb from the rest of the download is on top of that as i restarted the launcher. So im at 2.3gb.

I’ve been downloading for over 6 hours now. Its bugged out flashing at me and is at over 2gb. Can anyone help?

Victrixx is coming back to Gunnar’s Hold. We raid from around 11:30pm – 04:00am GMT.
We run with numbers ranging from 5-10, with a focus on outnumbered fights.

Most of our members represent other Guilds in the daytime and [xVx] by night.
We are always open to recruiting competent players. Initially we are going to be looking for 2 guardians and a mix of dps warr, DD ele and a necro. Maybe a very skilled staff ele as well.

Surprised [LaG] haven’t been mentioned considering they have beaten nearly every guild EU in GvG.

I live in England and played in NA for a good few months recently and Ping want an issue for me. Generally if i was lagging so was everyone else. I honestly didn’t notice a difference from EU.

Ya…kitten , those people need to get a clue. Some people fail to grasp the concept that you need to defend stuff until friday night, when it starts over and goes on like nothing happened.

Ive been on both sides and EU WvW is much more populated. NA t2 is like EU t4. On Gunnars Hold primetime we had longer Ques than NA T2 primetime. Ive not noticed individual player skill that much, seems both sides have an equal ammount of good and bad players. And yea the GvG scene speaks for itself.

Dont forget the part where they moved from Vabbi to Gunnars Hold and pretty much destroyed Gunnars and left it in t8 after they were done.

From what ive seen both Deso and Piken are tanking. Deso tanked the last season to win as well.

Im an EU player who has joined ONE for their comeback. Top guild with top players, and a really nice atmosphere. If you are a late night Euro player who wants to guild raid there is little to no lag difference in NA.

Gunnars Hold have had it the same but we just embraced it as an oppurtunity to get respect from these bigger servers by not giving up. In fact im pretty sure weve had it worse then AG who from what i understand are a fairly stacked server right now anyway?

Victrixx [xVx] is a WvW guild on Gunnars Hold. We usually run about 10 guys and live for seriously outnumbered fights.
The big thing with us is that our raid time is 11:30pm-4am GMT+0.
With the tier we are in we are looking to raid with 15ish when the enemy are out in force. We are looking for people who can raid at least 3-4 nights a week and are very good players. We are an open field guild 1st and foremost so are only looking for experienced players. Our times may fit some American players as well so dont hesitate to apply guys

We do allow Multi guilding if you are already in a guild on GH or if you want to look at joining one as well as us.
We are always looking for Pro players so if your class isnt listed dont hesitate to contact me but Sadly we dont recruit Rangers as we dont feel they bring enough to the raiding meta. atm we are really looking for.

Really Outnumbered fights on EOTM.

Hey all recently created a guild on Gunnars Hold for late night small scale raids. We usually run 5-10 guys from 11:30pm-4am GMT+0.

This is my 3rd video and wanted to share it with the community as we are quite proud of what we have achieved in a few weeks.

Yea good point, also the amount of invisibility Warrior has is game changing. Oh no thats thieves. Literally the thing you all seem to forget. Yea we have much better stat balance but you can just go invis and drop massive dps spikes. Sadly most thieves are only good for dropping noobs so OP obviously just met a warrior who wasn’t a kitten .

The reality is, warrior is too strong for thief because thief lacks the damage output to balance the scales. I could try 1000% harder and lose to that war no matter what. I could be a better player and lose to that war over and over again. All he ever had to do was spam..1…2..3..4..5…etc., swap weapons, spam 1..2…3.4..5…repeat. Easymode.

Are you serious? Warrior has 5 skills, most thieves only use 2. Who is really trying to play the easy mode class?

I only take 20 in Dicipline then cleansing ire removes 3 conditions instead of 2. Also i crit a lot more and have a lot of Fury uptime.

Cleansing Ire removes 3 conditions even with burst mastery. Since we are all sharing builds, this is my roaming Hammer build.

It has slightly lower crit damage then the other build presented here but it has a higher effective health with a slight trade off in effective power and the added benefit of Melandru Runes + Food which makes it almost immune to CC. I trait vigorous focus instead of destruction of empowered cause I like the extra evades.

Burst mastery makes burst skills cost 33% less therefore only using 2 bars of adrenaline and removing 2 conditions. By not taking it i pay the full cost but lose 3 conditions.

To get a scope on their numbers just look at the mini map lmao. [Full] whitewashed [DP] in a GvG in the same week.

The current meta is conditions for every class pretty much. With Crt dmg being nerfed this will only become more true. I may start work on a condi guardian soon……

Here is what this video is showing me… either this server bracket is full of the worst roamers I have seen or the player clipped together fights against low skill players leaving any meaningful fight out. Not a single fight in that video was against someone that was even moderately decent. At least Yishi and similar players highlighting class play make something useful by showing strong fighters. IMO a vanity video.

Actually the entire video was filmed in roughly a hour and as far as im aware thats every fight he got in. Check the timestamp.

If you look at Abaddons Mouth’s tick you will see that they didnt get the message, in fact they have a lot of underlevveled Necro’s running around lol. Typical of a ppt regional server.

Ok i thought id give this build a try despite it not being exactly what i wanted, and its awesome! Im using S/SH instead of GS but otherwise its exact. Loving the survivability but good dps. Thanks dude!

Haha yea my bad its not glass but i was kinda referring to glass builds as a whole. Just my personal preference to want a tanky roamer.

The build i linked had 3626 armour. I like extremely high armour as its so forgiving whilst roaming. I hate rolling a glass build that isnt thief as im forever having to get my stacks back lol.

I like it really nice dmg but i find that 3000 armour leaves you open to melting from ganks. I was hoping to keep it around 3500. Also why the lyssa runes?

So ive been raiding in guild groups on my guardian for a long time now and have decided i want a change. Ive unshelved my warrior and want a really tanky build but without horrible dps. Ive made this build. I raomed today didnt die but also the only fights i won were long if i was solo.

Id really appreciate advice an how to get a good balance. If you mod the build please dont use ascended pieces. Cheers!

No i doubt the forums can handle it tbh lol. GH seriously lacks coverage out of primetime although our primetime is stacked. imagine we will finish in the lower half of the silver league. I think Deso will wake up when it starts and take the crown with their massive pvx coverage.

Can we also remember that the EU leagues exist as well where our population is spread much more evenly.

Ive loged in for a hour total since patch to look at the new content and dont intend to log again with the exception to attend a GvG until bloodlust is removed.

So if we are only a minority on the forums how are we supposed to give Anet feedback that they will listen to?

I hope its Anet ballsing up this game and not Ncsoft else i dont have very much hope for Wildstar

Gunnar’s hold is looking for 1 or 2 small/medium sized SEA guilds (10-25 people) for the upcoming leagues.

We are a community made up of a lot of small/medium sized guilds, with our biggest guild presence being 35-40 on a good day, but generally, most guild groups run with between 10 and 25 people.

There are times when guild groups will team up to take an objective but due to the skill lag this causes it is not the way we choose to play. Our preferred play style is more offensive than defensive with several guilds specialising in open field zerg busting.

We have a strong Euro prime time presence and in recent weeks our Euro night time cover has been excellent with some dedicated commanders rallying the troops.

Our Achilles heel has always been between 06:00 and 18:00 GMT and this is a gap we are looking to fill. It will not be a time of PvD’ing as most of our opposition seem to be able to put out decent sized groups duing the day while most of us are at work/school/college/uni so there will be plenty to do.

With the advent of the new league system we expect to be in the Euro Silver league, somewhere in the middle and as a server we are happy with this position. We do not have aspirations to move up to the Gold league but we are intent on making a good impression in the Silver league, win or lose.

We have server wide VOIP (currently Mumble although the community is discussing other options) where you can have your own custom guild channels. A friendly, stable community, many of which have been here since the beginning, a community forum at www.gunnars-hold.eu and a general attitude of putting good tactical battles before points."

WvW is not meant to be fair. No balance needed.

As someone said in a previous thread. WvW isnt supposed to be fair but Anet shouldnt be making it more unfair either.

Anet want you to TPvP. They do not care about WvW. As far as they are concerned WvW is like a gateway to lead you to TPvP. They intentionally killed GvG as it would most likely have become more popular than TPvP and their poor attempt at an Esport would have less players.
With the latest patch they have added TPvP like objectives to lure people there even more. Sadly all thats happening is a lot of people are leaving the game. Ive logged in once and was dissapointed, i doubt i will again unless something changes.

Was guna stick with guild wars as my main game for years as no other MMO’s really appealed to me, but with every patch things have gotten worse. Wildstar actually looks amazing by comparison now.

Im on the winning server atm and im bored to death, the buff is far too OP and as others have said the stronger server just gets stronger. Probably didnt need a brain surgeon to work that one out though. Roll on WvW leagues -.-

I like the new area and the concept of it but the stat buff is kittening kittened. Why not give you some kind of PPT income multiplier or just Wxp Magic find buffs etc. Stat buffs are stupid from a guilds perspective or a roamers, kind of a deal breaker for me.
