How about we use the mega servers and based on rank (assuming a server dose not tank before the season )
and combine the #1 and #6
#2 and #5
#3 and #4
this will get a chance for servers to work together. see different opponents,

Now we would have to increase the map size with the mega server but i think it would be fun. Basically taking the EOTM idea and changing it up a bit.
It also gives servers opportunity to win when under normal circumstances they would not have a chance. Fill up time zones where we would normally have shortages and have 24/7 fights.

Is it a bit too crazy or difficult to do???
Oh yes and i almost forgot…
MAKE THE DAM PRIZE THE SAME FOR THE WINNER IN EACH TIER!

I like it.
The superior ladder must be very slow though and cannot be built within a certain range of a tower or keep wall (this will give a little time for defense, but not as much). Also it needs a certain amount of people to move it.
I would also like to see airships. that cannot fly above ballista range. but can be utilized to take out enemy siege (not walls or gates though). this will enhance the use of ballistas that every WvW player has stacks and stacks of.

It’s all been Anet’s fault and I wish A dev would come on an accept responsibility for this disaster.
This issue started before bloodlust and season 1.
“The seasons”, in general, started the decline of WvW.
Making the rewards for the top tier so much better than the lower tier, caused the mass migration to 3 or 4 servers on the top.
If Anet made the reward for each of the “division winners”, before the start of season 1, the same, this would not have happened and there would have been more of a balance.
Now it’s too late!
The damage is done…
A tier 2 or lower server NEVER had a chance to ever compete for first.
and some top servers had fat wallets to entice guilds to move.
Free or next to free transfers was a joke.
Allowing of huge population imbalance.
trolls on servers that nothing is done about, even after hundreds of complaints.

Not to change the subject but,

don’t you think if Anet made the rewards for winning each of the 3 NA divisions equal, it would spread out the WvW guilds throughout all the servers? this would most likely reduce the huge blobs, Que times and equal out the playing field?
then maybe having the winners of each of the 3 divisions have a match for an additional prize?

Just came from WVW and again DOUBLE teamed!!! If the winner is JQ or TC then they wont truly be a winner!!! Double Teaming is Cheating plain and simple!!! Is there anyway Anet that u can stop the unfairness of this like maybe have an in game chat so TS or Mumble is not required. Have it in WVW where opposing teams cannot communicate with each other to the best of your ability! Soooo many people are getting VERY FRUSTRATED!!!! If the double teaming continues causing BG to lose then a TRUE winner cannot be announced this season!! Those that play know the truth of the matter!!!

2v1 is fine, they are allowed to do that if they want. I think it kind of goes against the spirit of the game being a 3-way free-for-all, but it’s still smart strategy. The DDoS attacks on our TS, however, are not cool and need to stop. Things like that, hacking (not accusing anyone of this), or having spies on enemy servers that purposely destroy golems or throw down junk siege to cap the siege limit are all stepping across a line that is no longer fair play. I’m sure that the majority of JQ don’t know who’s doing it, so there’s probably nothing they can do, but it still sucks.

wow, you finally know how TC feels… This has been nothing new and has been going on here for a long time. Whats worse, is we know what server our trolls are from and still they allow this to happen.
I think there should be a ANET adviser on all the time, to contact when this happens so it could be dealt with immediately.
This would end the problem.

1. ANET will do nothing about it. They actually encourage this behavior.
the smaller servers teaming up against the bigger to have a chance to win.
2. stop posting these threads, it makes you look bad. (since this is how you won season one)
3. don’t tell us how good your blob is. it’s a joke! i have not seen one BG guild or mini blob this season fight us when we have equal numbers. (look at your own posted video’s.)

Again for all those BG sticking with it and fighting to the end. You have mine and many other players and guilds respect.

I have seen some very respectful players running around tbh, avoiding to interfere 1v1’s, guild groups letting the uplevel rangers cap sentries before killing them or letting them go. roleplaying parties of different servers having some fun with tonics while the battle rages on around them.. (don’t attack the trees and furniture!) invites to enemy groups to be complimented instead of flamed etc..

Of course there are also those few servers and roaming groups that are just running cheese and after that still need to hold hands with their party to take on one player who only wants to get that one sentry or ruin cap. ^^

True Story: I was in a 2v2 early this morning against BG (nakked farewell-grudge-dueling deep in BG territory … don’t ask). All of us commanders with friendly baggage that goes back almost to beta. Our foursome was coordinating in mumble. We were chatting our respective teams to keep them informed.

As it happened, JQ zerged around us, respecting our dance. And shortly after, TC zerged around us leaving us in peace!

Interestingly, a BG squad showed up and despite requests… could not resist mixing it up.

After a sigh and no whine to accompany the cheese… we reset, only to have the BG squad returned to disrespect us a second time. Our friendly and charming BG duo offered apologies and we said our farewells to them.

Perhaps server distress is undermining courtesy. War is, after all, war. My panties are certainly not twisted up about it.

TC’s behavior was the most remarkable. Here were four reds… easy pickings. And without pause or hiccup… went around. Not even a dingleberry attack from the tail. I suppose four nakked reds in the middle of nowhere might have been too terrifying to confront! Or perhaps, it is a reflection of the current server culture.

In the end, all we have are our memories of interesting events. Back to the fighting…

TC for the most part likes a good even fight.

If you’re interested in history, you might want to consider it a little more widely:
JQ: 19 Gold, 17 Silver, 19 Bronze. Total medals = 55
BG: 14 Gold, 11 Silver, 14 Bronze. Total 39
SoR: 8 Gold, 20 silver, 9 Bronze. total = 37.

And for this week’s match where it’s JQ vs BG vs lower tiered server, it’s just midweek and JQ is 48K ahead.

JQ can’t claim historical victimhood with any credibility.

You proved our point you guys have almost as much gold medals we just have a metric ton of silver/bronze medals almost the same amount as golds.

Without this weeks’ match JQ has 36% more gold medals than BG. Only in Nuked-world is this almost the same amount.

With this week’s match it goes up to 43%.

How easy do you guys want your wins to be?

Mediocrity for months from JQ in terms of tier 1 where we had 1 gold in the many months since may and BG had 10+ in that same timezone. You can’t seriously say that JQ was stacked during those time periods. When JQ had no OCX no EU coverage whatsoever. We would hit 90 ppt during those periods. All you see now from JQ is the fact we can actually give our SEA something upgraded on more than just EB every night.

You have an interesting way to make an argument.

You take 11 weeks out of a year of dominance and present it as “proof” that you’re somehow a victim, an underdog?

You say “You can’t seriously say that JQ was stacked during those time periods”, when I never said anything at all about that period. Although a masterstroke, what concerns me is JQ’s recent recruiting, such as paying MERC to bandwagon over. It was a strategic masterstroke but the claims of improving competition and balance are cynical PR spin – or complete and utter clueless-ness.

Christ, and I wanted to take SOR’s EB keep, but they lingered around our supply camps and we had to clear them out first. Once that was done anet realized their mistake and booted us out. 4 omegas and 5 regular golems wasted =(

Ah well, even the lost smc is fine I think. Gives EB a reset status so we have a better excuse on karma train. Them FA/SOS just flees from us every time we move about…

The “attack of the bot’s” has been in full swing the last few days. I haven’t seen this many “Bot” attacks on TC siege in a long time. 20 golums met their untimely end off the top of a cliff.

Nice job last might in EB! CD and SoS came hard at us and did a nice job. I wish we saw that SOS zurg hitting SOR last week.

Nice to see SOS out and about and not just focusing on TC.

SOR for the last few days in EB has put everything against TC because they knew you guys would not attack them.
The game changes drastically when there are 3 teams playing. SOR’s 70 – 80 man map hoping zurg is useless. Yeah they will take over a few things but they will lose as many in the process.
It was nice to see SOS with some red towers in SOR’s third.

TC I know new content is out, but lets show we are not pushovers these last 2 days!!

DB, like KN has come out strong in our first match-up. They are putting the pressure on both TC and FA and have taken a big lead. (they out man us both through the course of the day) with strong coverage in all the maps. ( plus not all of the guilds have transferred to DB yet, so we have not seen their full strength)
Very quickly DB has become the Goliath in T2.
It will take both servers to keep them in check. If not, they will have a quick and easy path to T1. (not to mention you will be stuck with us for another 8 weeks)

Anyone who thinks FA is weak is deluding themselves. No one gets to T2 by being weak. All three servers are excellent. We all have diverse personalities which sometimes clash, but skill is not really up for debate here.

FA has beaten TC. TC has beaten FA. KN has beaten both FA and TC. FA and TC have both beaten KN. DB is currently beating TC and FA.

When i said weaker.. I also said outmanned during parts of the day! That does not mean a weaker opponent.
The top seven servers JQ, SoR, BG, TC, DB, FA and KN are far superior in man power and tactics then the lower servers. Tier 3 was dominated by them as each of them made their way up.
Everyone in T2 deserves to be in T2!!!!

If a server sees that a team is outmanned they push them. just like any other team does. but there are 3 of us. so if we see it, there is another server that sees it also. This happens numerous times to EACH server during the day in EVERY map.
As soon as a server seems weak the other 2 are like wolves upon a lamb.
FYI FA, It was TC that came to your rescue at Langor Yesterday afternoon, wiping the DB zurg that was assaulting your tower. Then leaving!!! (you were outmanned)
BUT, we needed you pushing the east because DB was so strong at that time and we need you in the game, not trying to protect paper towers.
Was that double teaming? NO it was a smart decision!

Interesting how it’s turned out. My predictions for DB 2.0 last week was T2 #3 and it seemed their own wasn’t even that but I see they’re actually gunning in #1.

Kaineng is clearly not coming back to T2 and from the T3 thread I’m seeing more and more KN guilds transferring, to DB I believe. I don’t see the appeal of transferring to the #1 server in a tier but to each their own.

I hope T2 stays stable since KN’s night coverage is a lot less ridiculous than DB’s in terms of numbers. T3 is a lot more fun.

Thanks for the compliment, but in all fairness it’s really too soon to imply that DB is the #1 server in its tier…after all we are, as of this moment, less than 72 hours in. They might as well jump ship BEFORE it becomes entirely obvious how awesome we are, that way they get to say they contributed.

DB has done a very good job in attracting new guilds to their server, As well as FA. They seem to have better coverage now.Although DB seems to have a stronger presence in all the maps more consistently.
TC has not reported for duty it seems this week. Yes we do have our NA prime time, but our off hours is lacking greatly.
The EB battles have been well fought! and none of the servers have taken the upper hand for long.
But as you said it is a long week ahead!

Food for thought: If TC is desperate to get to T1 as some claim, then why would no one bother to show up for the last few days of the matchup knowing we’ve already won? Wouldn’t we use our opponents low morale and thus low turnout to grind out more rating?

Posted about 17 hours a go, looks like TC was still there to me….surely this was a morale booster for us on Kain in our current downed state.
