This is normally true but I have the trait that makes marks un-blockable.

Counter Point, I’m a hardcore player, do youtube and the whole bit. Contribute builds regularly to websites, ect. However I’m very happy playing with Casuals and even helping them understand the game better. And I’m not on 23/7 due to family, work, ect. But I play the game and comprehend on the level. A lot of “Casuals” just don’t take the time to dig into the game and learn the inner workings causing them to not understand the inner workings of a dungeon/tournament match/wvw what have you. But I learned from playing EvE Online, Another MMO mentioned here that is severely geared to hardcore gamers, that if you take the time to actually play with and know people they will be good players and fun people to play with regardless of casuality or hardcore.

For sake of argument my guild ran a tPvP group last night of 5 necros with all separate builds and facerolled. The problem really resides in people not understanding how to play necro or trait it well… I tPvP on a necro and I assure you it’s not as underpowered as everyone thinks. The thing is most people who try to play necro need to stick with it it’s a high learning curve

Besides my build using plague sig I agree… On a side note as a condition Necro… I have no issues with the removal of conditions Only phantasm mesmers ever carry null field, however the conditions are so easily reapplied (same goes for shattered conditions), and because they are glass they die all the same… I almost never see water eles used… I’ve NEVER seen a warrior using a warhorn. And almost all rangers I see are rocking spiders.

Depending on what build I’m in my necro can take a phantasm mesmer… If i’m in my Vampire Dagger build I can’t, But my E-Bomb Necro that I’ve been running lately can, Simply because it deals damage to the real one as well as all of the clones evenly and heavily.

On a side note I imagine a tanky earth ele with a good grasp on AoE damage could find similar success.

Always willing to help at Necro in 1v1, tPvP, and hotjoin if i’m online US but I honestly stretch all play times depending on if I’m working that day or not. I have a very strong grasp on Necro for sPvP with close to 2k hours logged, I also main a Warrior but that’s for WvW/PvE

When you maximize your conditiondamage that way, how many stacks bleed can you maintain by yourself?

Myself I am able to maintain at least 10 stacks in wvw when I focus on someone.

Between 12 and 15 stacks I’m specc’ed to length and damage and that’s just spamming 1

20 kills is easy to get in 1-2 games tbh… 10 caps is a 2-3 game task… The tournament wins, especially for those of us in a WvW guild who doesn’t care much for sPvP regardless of what dear old leader likes… Is a bit over the top I agree it should be 2 games played not 2 wins.

In sPvP/tPvP where we don’t get alot of the awesome gear that you pveers/wvwers can I can easily get 120 a tick

This is my tournament roamer build… It can easily be diverted to axe and since you have range you can change your elite to lich if you don’t mind losing the knockdown and cripple the minion gives… The build also has NASTY survivability via traits making it viable with practice in 2-3 v 1 situations.

Here is what bothers me about SF.

I fight 2 people over the enemy south camp. Kill ICE commander and another + all npcs. So i think , hey good fight , was fun. I hang out there figuring they would be back. They bring back 8-9. lol some how i killed all 9. Was fun but very iffy with that many people to fight. So im like, ill wait some more! this is a blast. waiting …. waiting …. waiting … then BLAM!!!!

Just to be clear, you killed 2 people and the NPCs and I am assuming you capped the camp?

Then 8 or 9 of them come back for revenge and you slay them all?

Then the “BLAM” is 11 of them? With none of them downed?

Or of course did you take this after they rezzed the 8-9 that you previously were able to kill solo? Also why is the camp not still yours, or did you not cap/or they capped after downing you?

I’ve noticed alot of rude people from NSP and SF both… (not so much HoD honestly so kudos to you) i must say i’ve lost some respect for ICE and called their members out in say to stop acting like goons… but on the same hand i see XOXO, who are putting up good fights and i respect their skill as a guild, doing the same to not only ICE who was being rude but to Gore, my guild, who are urging our people to be the better person, ICE was also talking obscinities in map chat and someone from NSP who was transfered spying told the thief who he was talking about about it and they started a flame war in whisper, also showing the disrespect of NSP putting people on our server to report our movements… Lets stop all this hate, stop jumping and dancing on corpses, and stop all the obscene smack talking…

House of Gorethorium [Gore] respects any guild who can put up a great fight XOXO, NSP (guild), VLK, Os, namely are the ones i’ve seen. You must respect and honor your enemies so that they may have a chance to drink with Odin in Valhalla.

But towards what you were saying.
I see no evidence of invulnerability in that golem.
And infact none of our golems were dmg’ed on the outer gate. Since we sweeped everything and then just built more.

Yeah i’m not sure if the A-net dude was invuln or not in the golem they clearly weren’t outside of them i was just pointing out what was going around our server and people were asking if we had SS to post them. also there were 3 devs i noticed but i don’t believe any foul play just speaking for the people in map who don’t get on forums and their concerns.

Also i’m not advocating a positiveness of any foul play on A-net’s part. People were saying they were invulnerable and they were asking for asking people to take screens of them being there, I saw 2 or 3 a-nets total i know 2 were in golems that were at full health and left in keep despite us pouring AoE but there could be many explanations for that.

This is true but you did just get at least 2 T1 guilds in ET as well as several others did you not?

on SF we don’t mind the transfers though it’s understandable why ET and FC have such a bad taste for it after kaining starting the whole problem by stomping and setting the ranking so low for you guys. Here on sorrow’s furnace we aren’t willing to let some tier 1/2 guilds stop our party train it’s just a speed bump.

anyone notice that after tier 1 and tier 2 guilds such as [agg] [FoE] and [VK] (formerly known as [RET]) as well as many others have transfered to ET and FC SF is still dominating and we didn’t get any free transfers

Can’t transfer to ET or FC anymore by the way they are now high population servers after a bunch of tier 1 and tier 2 guilds came down to try to pull another kaining. And as if it doesn’t show that SF really needs to be moved up we’re still winning by double the next person’s score granted we were winning by double both other teams combined before. Although the tier is more interesting and fun for SF with the transfers, It’s still a 1 sided fight 85% of the time. It does really need to be fixed when you have people from T1/T2 saying you’re at worst a tier 5 server yet you’re stuck on tier 8.
