Something that actually looks good on my charr because 99,9% of armors and outfits are designed to look good on human characters and almost every time 0 effort goes towards charr especially headgear.
For me it was more fun because it was more flat and it was faster to run back if i died now in desert it just feels like a chore to get back to a fight its 90% of running 10 % fighting
I don’t fear raiding i just have no interest in it same way that i have no interest in doing dungeons or fractals i just have gotten bored of people and their nonsense in mmo’s when it comes to organized group stuff.
The idea is always fun but then people suck all the fun out of the game with either high standard requirements or toxic behavior.
For some reason over the couple of years people have become really impatient about everything that is going on nobody has time to teach less skilled people to get better anymore so they just kick him/her
As a lazy person i have to agree when i am playing with my other characters i get annoyed when i have to dodge stuff that with my Reaper i just stand there and let the minions rip them to shreds while doing damage with little to no effort.
Best part about DS map get dc and missing the event i managed to get there at the start of HOT one time got to almost at the end and then dc and tadaa the event is over when i get back in so i never tried that crap again.
I tried revenant leveled it to 80 in few days but got bored of it i am not a fan of hammer models and the playstyle of revenant for me was boring as hell and it did not help when there is so few utility stuff compared to older characters but mostly its the playstyle that i didn’t like or really understood it just felt boring.
For me the whole profession died after ricochet was removed p/p was the reason i rolled thief as i just don’t get any enjoyment from the over used dagger thief/rogue archetype
I find them boring i like spending my time when logged in playing and i have never understood the appeal of instanced home except for RP purpose other than that i find player housing useless.
To me the enjoyment comes from endless 24/7 battles and that the map is not claustrophobic one room boring clean battleground for me huge battlegrounds like wvw bring 120% more enjoyment than some boring arena type.
I don’t i went through the story but then again i don’t care at all about map completions or grinding useless mastery points or legendary stuff i do what i enjoy and that does not include grinding crap that only gives me some skins to wear on my armor or weapons.
New Bl map for me suffers from same problem as Eso cyrodiil its just too big and empty most of the time just goes to travelling where nothing at all happens.
For me wvw is just boring zerg vs zerg confusion most of the time i have no idea what to do and my computer cant handle all the people on screen its just no fun at all when my fps goes to 5-10 in big fights and i cant find any other enjoyment from wvw as there is no resource gathering to help making bases stronger and i am just too bad at fighting other people.
You know why i love DH its because i love watching simpletons that refuse to dodge for some reason in wvw its so kitten funny to see a herd of people run into a trap bomb and it really baffles me why they don’t just dodge away instead of giving me those juicy loot bags.
I don’t really care about all you Hardcore “Give me more pain. Beat me Beat me, Yes Sir may I have another” players.
My guildies and I stop playing HoT after story because it was too hard.
We now tried several times with raids and the same. TOO HARD !!!
Everyone is back in Tyria farming for precursor crafting.

If you think the game is hard i wonder what you would think about old C64 or Atari games back then it took 30+ minutes to load a game with a cassette drive and almost everytime difficulty was just hard and if you died in game it was 30 minutes of load screen but back then we learned from mistakes and tried to better our self unlike nowadays when people just cry to developers to hold their hands.
Yawn… Games were hard back then since they had to are where you ok baying for a game you can beat in 2min or less + the size limits – see old Mario for example
Yes i would pay if the game is engaging and fun and gives me a some sort of challenge i just don’t understand the mentality of people nowadays people have no patience at all immediately if something is too hard the complaining starts back in the days you just sucked it up.
For summary yes i would take harder fun game that makes me challenge my self than game that is as hard as dead fish i just don’t understand why would anybody want to play a game that basically is just a interactive movie.

I have the same problem my other characters work fine the problem is my guardian which was in diessa when restart became and now i cant log on to that character.
I don’t get the whining about the points i started new engineer on monday now he is level 80 and has all the things unlocked even the scrapper so it took a week of halfa** gameplay mixing with crafting and doing quests to get the character to 80 and then collecting HP from new zones.

Yup i thought i could start the new expansion with a new spec but instead i got grind your a** for hours with old spec to get the new stuff i don’t want whole spec right away i just wanted to start with a new weapon and then go from there.
Well i for one thought i could atleast equip my new weapon and then progress through new content same time unlocking the new elite spec but instead no you cant play the spec that sold the expansion before you grind your a** off
Because i find humans boring i enjoy playing as Charr why would i play as a human when i have to deal with humans in real life all the time.
I just hate that in any game all the effort always goes to either human races or elf races and then developers wonder why nobody plays rest of the races that are left out or neglected entirely see all the clipping and blurry armor on charr characters and in elder scrolls all the clipping on khajiit and argonians and the list goes on.
I play almost completely wvw maybe 85-90% of my time goes in there rest is just random wandering in the pve world
I love big open pvp places normal battleground style pvp bores the hell out of me and pve has not gripped me in like in other mmo’s but GW2 wvw is perfect map is big but not too big like in eso where 99% of my time goes in running from place to place in empty scenery.
1. Ricochet was taken away as i loved playing double pistol thief it was straight nerf to my fun and enjoyment of the entire profession
2. I suck at pvp so encountering something that can oneshot me just kills the fun for me and thief is the most annoying for me as most of the times they just faceroll me before i even see them.
Its always the “beast” races that get the s**t end of the stick in elder scrolls its khajiit and argonians no matter what game always all the effort goes to pretty races and rest of the races get to share the crap that’s left in GW2 some of the armor on charr is like its from the different game completely some of the armor look real horrendous on charr when in the same time lool absolutely fabulous on human characters.
If you buy me a high end gaming machine sure up the graphics but you do know that most of the people play mmo’s with potatoes so it would be insane by a developers point of view to design games to look like crysis or witcher 3 or some other game that melts most of the computers.
Many people me included do not upgrade their computers every year most people run their computer until it breaks down.
And many people actually me included don’t give a rats kitten about graphics i rather play game that is fun than looks like real life.
And by the way cartoon style graphics hold the testament of time far better than more real looking graphics you only have to look at first playstation era games and you see how horrible the “real” life graphics look compared to games like crash bandicoot.
I wish they would have just but a option not to show the sack as i enjoyed my hobo sacks especially for flamethrower and elixir gun now the flamethrower looks stupid.
I still try to like it but as i am not very good in pvp i get stomped and facerolled 99.9 times out of 100 and i have no idea whats even happening most of the times. To me game feels just too fast and i get no enjoyment from being killed in seconds maybe i am just not hardwired to do pvp.
I prefer GW2 wvw ESO map was just too kitten big with little to nothing in there so it became running/riding simulator to me as i die alot in pvp i got no skills in either games but i still enjoyed both GW 2 just is more fun when i can run back faster after death
+ESO lag was unbearable
