Mesmer is cool but gets easy booring.
And do you play PvE? If so why try to aim for a specific build? Try to find what build you enjoy to play the most yoursel, PvE isn’t that hard.
I aim for builds that I find fun. Before the ranger buff I spent weeks perfecting my build to make it fun. Then I realised that the meta is fun too. I dabble in every gamemode out there.

So I have been playing this game since the three day early access and I seem to have a small problem. I have a fifth empty character slot that I simply can’t seem to fill.
So far I have a D/D thief, a Shout Warrior, a Trapper or Zerker ranger and a Work In Progress ele.
I just can’t seem to find a class and build for my fifth slot. I hear mesmer is amazing once you level it. Guardian seems really flat. Necro and Engi I know nothing about. Andy fun builds?

People will NEVER be satisfied with the amount of content. I remember that in the first two weeks people hit level 80 and such. I personally never finished the PS till last winter. It’s not the amount of content it’s (can’t believe I’m about to say this) it’s that certain people have too much free time on their hands. I finished the content in three days but I spent those three days doing nothing else. And honestly that is just sad. Go outside, do something! Got to the god kitten beach or something and not cry on the forums.

Maybe GW2 could implement that feature for the living story? That way new players can experience season 1 and we could re-live it ourselves.

Anyway I love my trapper ranger. True that it’s not made for zergs but when I roam there aren’t that many people who can kill me. I tried Thief and warrior. Still like ranger. More to think about. Anyone can get a zerker warrior and press 2. A thief is annoying and I’m not sure who they are good in zergs.

Just think about it for a second. You either have to salvage, equip, make soul/account bound. The game did not track these actions before so it would not know which skins to give you.

Never before have I complained on the forums about thieves. But a really annoying aspect of stealth is that only attacking breaks it. I play a trapper ranger and when i fight a thief I cant kill him. The reason being is that when he is in stealth and runs over my traps he can still walk away stealthed. Why does damage not break stealth?
