yeah. others had told me of the thread as well. i just don’t get how a company can continuously push all these additions and still maintain the mindset that “everything is great” when the community is screaming at them the opposite. #QQallTheDay

I recently heard that anet is considering allowing the wvw community to vote on when reset night should occur.. on saturday, or friday..

please know that i did not do any background checking due to <lazyReasonsHere/>, but only heard from a few sources yesterday that it was possibly on the table.

if such a vote is permissible, could votes for other things be allowed? like, i don’t know, maybe a vote to bring back the old minor BLs? etc etc..

As the title asks, what’s the state of scepter ele right now? I keep hearing it’s been nerfed and that it’s semi unplayable, but still see quite a few rolling it.

Congratulations Anet! I am officially done with this weapon set, I even tried to like it but it’s literally impossible with the steal bug and getting blocked doesnt proc larcenous. You guys have single handedly managed to kill an entire weapon set. To those who are still going to play it and say it’s good? More power to you bro haha, I for one am sick of the pointless nerfs. You guys turned a great weapon set into a complete evade spam no dps piece of kitten. I called it, but no one listened and what a surprise I was right.

Though I did find a bit of good news today. Black Desert is getting an Eu/Na publisher so it looks like it should be released hopefully around the end of 2015.

Sadly still no word on Blade and Soul’s Na release………so sad.

I never understood the point of BP being a one shot field and finisher. Take away the blind on shot and keep the field as is. This would make it to were BP would need to be more tactically placed to get the full effect.

Lets face it, D/P already has Shadow Shot which blinds on shot and shadowsteps to target.

This coming from a Thief main since release. Alot of thieves may not agree but I believe it will bring a better balance to that weapon set which seems to be where most of the complaining comes from.

The only thing I would say that is OP about d/p is the blind on shot from 5. It already blinds at the spot. It doesnt need the extra blind from the shot its self.

I dont have problems against d/p Thieves as a s/d-p/d Thief. My daze on steal and from sword out of stealth really hurt thier combo.

The build looks like 5/0/30/15/20

He is clearly appling venom on steal (5)
Dropping condi in stealth, blind on stealth and regen (30)
Regain endurance on dodge (15) (not sure which trait though)
Fury/Might/Swiftness on steal, Vigor on steal (20)

Only reason i posted the pic is cause just camping behind a wall 5v1’ing stragglers at 2 am in my mind is a pretty lame tactic. I also found it ironic that the guild tag is PRO…that’s so pro. Let me know when you figure out how to make videos and I’ll tell you know if I’m in it. I doubt it though as I haven’t died to a thief in a couple months. I’ve killed plenty, and seen plenty more disappear in a trail of red circles that goes off towards keep/tower doors.

The video was so large i cant figure out how to load it into the program to break it apart. It keeps telling me file to large (100+ gigs).The video your asking about was just me crushing Cricket after he was talking all that crap.

Im still new to editing so if you have a good program i can use to break it down im all ears.

It’s not about fight clubs at windmills but about DB running from fights when numbers are not in their favour and returning when they have a large numerical superiority. I’ve seen it often enough this week, so please reconsider saying that “these people” are proven wrong – some of them are from the same server as you.

Apparently this is T1-2 tactics, and we can’t field the numbers to do the same anyway. I’ve been in our BL every day this week and had plenty of times when DB turned tail and ran when we appeared with all the might of the YB morning crew (all 3-5 of us), only to return with a Zerg.

It is legitimate to play that way, use greater numbers, but those people are usually bad losers when numbers are not to their advantadge, while me and others from our night and morning crew have been fighting against such odds all the time. By the way, i honestly can’t remember having seen you among our morning crew.

I don’t know about you, but the windmill thing was after we roamed your map. My party of als wanted to have fun with the kite wielding thief that followed us. Alas ending at the windmill before work. ( might edit for grammar or spelling due to being on a phone)

Started as a roaming adventure so to speak and ended at the windmill. As for the (EA) Warrior, he was camping are wp looking for 1vX type stuff and duels. Thats right, he came to us so respect there.

Watching (BV) and (GF) go at it was pretty funny. I had just as much fun watching it as i did gettin in to it. It definitely helped in spicing up the night. It was pretty sorry up until then.

I’m going to put this out there because the crap needs to stop.

I’ve run across 4 people from the same guild using the teleport hack. I’m not going to bust them out here but let it be known that i have started recording this crap. So far i’ve caught 1 warrior, 1 Guardian and 2 Thieves doing it.

Once I get enough evidence I’ll post it here hopefully before server change cause there’s no need for it. If your going to lose in a 1v1 or 1v2 you should just except it and get downed.

Also, to all the people that I’ve 1v1 who like to hang around the towers just so you can walk in to regain health then come back out to duel me again. Thats just plain weak. Again, except your loss and move along. I can understand up-lvl’s doing it but when there is a 1v2 (2against me), no point in running back in the tower.

Sorry about the ramblings but when you have guilds like (GF) standing there ground and representing, it makes the rest of ya’ll look like crap for not.

I have alot of respect for Ebay for the individual skill level that I’ve come across with the exception of the hackers and would like to keep it that way.

I ran into a ph guy that was doing this kitten. After whipping his kitten I invited em to party and told em knock that kitten off.

He didn’t even deny just stopped. We dueled a few more times and he was a pleasant enough fellow actually.

So moral of the story is all servers have em and all servers will always have them.

Your right, I dont deny it at all but it still sucks. I haven’t had the chance to duel the same guy like you did. Most would just “Poof” and not come back.

As we all know there have been quite a few post detailing the problems with Last Refuge. It has gotten me killed more times then it has saved me (probably a 70/30 split).

My change would involve changing Last Refuge to a 25% increase in movement speed while changing Signet of Shadows to something like……..

Signet of Corruption (or whatever name fits)

Passive: 180 Condition Damage
Active: poison (or whatever condition sounds best) on next 3 attacks

As it stand we don’t have any Signet’s that effect condition damage but do effect Precision and Power.

This change should help with mobility while allowing us to add a little flavor to the utility bar.

I want to add that i don’t speak for the Thief community, but it does seem that Last Refuge is one of are least liked traits.

My only issue is that you tend to boast a lot. As someone who does make videos (see my previous posts if you would like to view same), let me ask you a friendly question:

Did you ever run from a [FEAR] S/D thief North of Bay when you were about to lose 1v1?

Perhaps I have a surprise for you if your answer is anything but “yes.”

First and foremost your “boy” engie that was tagging the gate was talking kitten with me back and forth. I stomped him 4 times and was the reason for making the video. Its almost funny you never show what he said? I can post his PM’s if you like.

Anyway, how aout you PM me so we dont derail this thread any further.

And NO, I’ve NEVER ran from YOU or any other 1v1 battles EVER. Hope this makes it perfectly clear for you.

Again, if you want to duel PM me and I’ll post the duel right away. At 720p my video’s are close to a gig per minute reduced down with handbrake to 450 Mb. It would only take 30 mins or so to post to youtube.

Almost every tower, bridge and camp had at least 1 person there just chilling. As soon as i would run towards them they would run into the tower.

This certainly seems counter-intuitive, or (gasp!) hyperbolized. Why would one person stand outside a tower then run into it if he/she didn’t want to fight at all? Wouldn’t it make more sense to just stand inside it? Or, perhaps, fight a tad outside the tower and then run inside for protection? But, according to you, as soon as you’re seen, this person, who happens to be standing outside the tower for no apparent reason, runs inside before doing anything. It’s almost as if you’re trying to imply that everyone on CD is afraid of you. Gotta tell ya, cowboy, that seems a little stretched.

Also, what i said before wasn’t meant as an insult. The dedication it takes to perform gate tapping for your server is pretty astounding.

Some guys from Kaineng are seriously lacking in manners – today i died during camp defense in our borderlands and someone vomitted repeatedly onto the corpse of my character. Didn’t even know one could do that. It was a Charr, so it didn’t surprise me that much. And you remove your corpses afap because you seem to be afraid to be treated in a similar disrespectful manner. I would post the guild tag here, but instead i will just treat every Kaineng the same way. You got no honor.

I duel and 1vX alot on Kain and this happens far and few between. When we get wiped by say a zerg, they tend to just keep moving. Mag on the other hand was well known for this. I would 1v3 some roamers and when their main zerg would roll me the same people i had stomped earlier would start dancing on me as if they did something.

Kain has been a pretty stand-up server with little complaint from me.

Yeah, this has been pretty fun. With all the battles here lately, Ive been putting more time in and the wife isn’t feeling it……lol

With battles like this it makes WvW so much more fun. I kinda feel bad for the other servers and the crappy roll they got. Every other server has one that is just rocking the hell out of the others.

Its a shame they can’t enjoy what we are.

I have been anxiously awaiting this video for some time now. . . I would like to compare your toon to a P/D thief I had a tussle with just north of Bay on one of the Borderlands this week.

I make kitten up all the time to be cool, its what all the cool people do.

The video is in coming. It was 100+ gigs and having problems separating because of its size. Didnt mean for it to be so big but forgot to stop recording after paying with the engie. Im starting to gather more video of other duels, 1vX’s and guild battles. I just started making videos so please be patient.

If your looking for me in battles im always roaming on Kain and Crystal solo in the morning and with a couple from the guild on EB at late night.

To all Kain and Crystal defenders and roamers, If i laugh at you after killing you its no disrespect. I generally do this to people who try to sneak me or on those 1vX occasions.

Were you really waiting in that tunnel for me all morning before I logged on? And then you stealth and run back into your keep every time your elites on cooldown? Post that video please. You running back to your keep 20 times to reset the fight while you wait for your elite to come up again, until I got trampled by your zerg. You were doing better with thieves guild, btw. Dagger storm’s a death trap.

I wanna thank [TS] for the challenge yesterday though! You guys were pretty good at managing to patrol my routes. Definitely challenged me to learn the land so I could avoid your squad. Pretty cool guys to boot.

Should be exciting to see what the new match ups will be!

Best way to settle this is set a time and ill meet you (before server reset) so we can have a good clean duel, no running, no hiding just a nice duel between you and me…..cool?

What do you mean I refused to duel? I was sitting in your keep for half an hour. You’d come in pop your thieves, then run back to your guards when below 30%… rinse, repeat. That’s all I was trying to do.
