GW1 max armor price = 7.5k. Elite armor = 75k. The price of cultural armor is fine
This should be the right screen shot. I’ll try and get one if I run into the grawl level
Uhm, that’s not a boss. That’s a very easy to kill champion.
I used that champ for a reason just to demonstrate how a melee attack can still connect even though it says you’re out of range. Read the post.

It’s not the same, but the grall bubble has about the same range as that Flame legion shaman. With an axe, notice how my attack says it’s out of range, but yet it can still connect.
Edit: Wrong pic
I’ll try when I can. Only way I see me running that path is is if a group gets that on the 3rd fractal since everybody wants to skip it. (Easiest one with the right comp though)
I melee the grawl outside his bubble range just fine with an axe. Just because the icon says red doens’t mean you’re out of range. The range for an attack is slightly further than that (50 or so)
It’s not hard to react to getting aggro >.>
I find people quickly enough for 30+ during prime time. Don’t see the problem there
Swamp: Mossman is not melee friendly just because of how hard he kills. Bloom though is pretty easy to melee even at higher levels
Gnarl: You can stand right outside the pushback aoe range and melee >.>
Gnarl Ele: Deal with it
Snow: Knowing who is tanking and who is aggro is kind of the point if you want to melee. Even if you’re tanking there’s still times when you can melee him safely.
Underwater: You don’t NEED to range him, you can melee the boss to death if you want, it’s just quicker to kill him by moving him to the sparks. Also everybody should have at least 1 stun break to break out of stuns. Furthermore you could always have the group fear/sink/float the jelly to rupt that move
Ascalon: Final boss, can be melee’d during the first phase but this is one of the few bosses where you cannot melee at higher levels due to his agony move.
Maw: I do fine meleeing the tentacles by weaving, int, or blinding them. The move they do to knock you down is pretty telegraphed.
You don’t even need to dodge roll bombs >.> you can easily run out of the aoe circle.
If you do account bound levels, then the daily reward has to be account bound. Pick you’re poison… Do you want multiple chances at daily rings or just 1 per account.
So you expect everything to be in place at a games release. The game isn’t even 6 months old yet. Honestly people have to learn to be patient. This will be an added feature. It’s not however high on the priority list. I rather see bugs and glitches fixed first before this is added in.
Did they nerf him? If so how?
Also Id like to know if you use the Troll egainst him, does the troll kill him all on his own?
It depends. if the boss has 1 or 2 monk adds with him. There’s a chance that the troll will die
I’m just there for tokens. I don’t care for the money >.>
There is no ceiling. However there will be a indirect ceiling when people can’t keep up with agony.
Just sounds another person who isn’t proactive to make a group or use the lfg site.
And what’s proactive? I’ve reached my “suppression” limit more often than you want to know. And why should I go to a random site to even find a party for a dungeon? That doesn’t even make sense.
So you don’t want to log in/log out to reset your spam or use any other resources made available to you. In essence you want to be spoon fed a group rather expend every opportunity or option you have.
Just sounds another person who isn’t proactive to make a group or use the lfg site.
Only takes me a day to get a full set of exotics >.>
So a few cents of me chipping in:
Two players meet a monster with 900hp. First does 200dmg every second, the other does 180 dmg every second. In your logic, where dungeon has generic XXX hp to be whittled down by your combined stats and dps, first player is more efficient because he has more dps. In real life or in game, due to existance of multiple caps, both are actually equally good, killing each such monster in 5 seconds. 10% dps difference, 0% time difference.
Its easy to directly translate stat loss into time loss because it seems the connection seems simple. It is not, due to complexity of mechanics involved, on more levels then just numerical damage calculations.
There’s a time difference involved >.> Just because your counting in whole numbers doesn’t mean others aren’t
Edit: Also, on top of that, let’s scales the mobs health to 1800, then 2700… what’s the difference between the two dps now?

Finished the fractal (stage 3) boss ran away as usual, however the cutscene didn’t trigger so we couldn’t progress to the Maw. -.- G…kitten…G….
He’s comparing two different classes of rings…
/facepalm
Atleast compare the berserker ring with it’s ascended equivilent instead of pulling out a jack of all trades ring that has no equal state item I the exotic tier.
Easiest fractal for me seem to be swamp, snow, and aquatic. Rest of them get annoying at higher levels.
By looks of this post OP is just being stubborn. If your pugging then Your going with people you don’t know and you want to minimize the risk. Just be flexible and bring a scepter or a staff in your backpack. You don’t have to equip it during the run unless the group ask you to. Honestly a they are doing is just trying to minimize the risk so they don’t end up having to Rez some one constantly.
First or second Grawl seem to Teleport for me. It’s random >.> but getting more and more less random
Do you want to include the 20 – 29 bracket also if yes then..
1. no
2. 6
2b (20 – 29 bracket). 4
3. 0
I’ve had 2 people in my static get a ring 4 days in a row. However when it comes to the other 3 of us… the only reason we are able to somewhat make it past 20+ is because we’ve upgraded our backpacks.
I’ve been getting 2 – 5 rares on average in fractal with no MF gear on.
Thanks for the feedback, I must be having some sort of extremely bad luck.
Well I am known as the guy that has been mega screwed over by RNG in the guild ^^
It also depends what level your running it at. Higher levels seem to give better drops. It’s pretty common in my group for everybody to walk out with 2 rares from 1 chest.
I’ve been getting 2 – 5 rares on average in fractal with no MF gear on.
Why MF is good in dungeons: It gets you loot for yourself
Why MF gear is bad for dungeons
Thera Zaros your logic is flaws >.> Then by your logic the person who wants to keep main focus shouldn’t socket toughness or vit and die quicker so you can get main focus. Or maybe, you want to get 1 shotted by some aoes.
Step 1: Pour Lava on him
Step 2: Avoid Aoes
Step 3: DPS
Step 4: ???
Step 5: PROFIT!
Honestly it’s a pretty easy boss… cleared everything from 3 – 10 today with a full melee group.
Why can’t you be on level 11 >.<
Segregated everyone by sending them to the same place.
0/10 post
find 4 people it’s not hard.
This. Stop being lazy and make your own group.
It’s a progression dungeon….. You want people who know what to do so you minimize the possibility of not getting that. Just because you’re scaled up to 80 doesn’t mean you’re on par with a full geared 80. Chances are you won’t have access to the following:
1) Gear bonuses (i.e: 3rd stat)
2) Traits for survivability or dps
3) Experiance, honestly if I have to choose between an unknown lowbie and an 80. I’m going with the 80 to minimize the risk.
It’s going to get more specialize. Your not running higher level without specific spec and people working together to synergize there builds. Honestly if you think otherwise your only kidding yourself into a nieve delusion.
You are implying that everyone must future proof themselves by getting full legendary gear, if they do not wish to grind.
I say again, are a terrible troll.
I don’t see a ascended item that can give me an extra 30% MF or 250 precision.
Those stats you speak of are unheard of at the exotic level as well for single items.
You sir do not play a level 80 then or don’t pay attention to runes and sigils.
Yet somehow I manage to stay competitive with only yellow gear.
You can only do better with max stat gear, therefore you will be more competitive, as you won’t be working handicapped due to your numbers being arbitrarily smaller than your opponent’s numbers.
Stats aren’t even that much greater from tier to tier… what is it like 3 more points on stats from yellow to orange?
Ascended items can’t use runes or sigils either. They only have the gem stats built into it. It’s nice for some things, but for others it’s actually worse.
From what I saw infusion was just agony defense so far. So the question comes down to do you want the extra stat or the rune/sigil effects. Honestly if I wasn’t running fractal I would rather have rune/sigil effects. I don’t see a ascended item that can give me an extra 30% MF or 250 precision. Honestly people will just cry about everything.
Predict where people are going and rellying on hitting people at 1500 is basically stupid. If any case when I use nades I’m at about a 600 – 800 range.
Sounds like you need to L2P, I can grenade on the run like a boss. If grenades were hard targeted it would be to OP, I think they work fine they way they are intended. You can still run and kite with WASD while re-targeting your grenades when needed. IMO put the grenades away when your on the run, you have better options.
Basically you are bad and are asking the game to be dumbed down for you.
Nope.avi
fast-cast ground targeting + good mouse + skill
Pretty much
You know you could choose where your mouse is before you start moving with it. Your mouse will stay in the same area when your moving. It’s not that hard once you get used to it.
I don’t have a problem with it. Just use auto ground targeting.
Shoot net → pull mob or player into it → Switch to nades → profit
no…. it would be way to op
Pretty much. If I lay down a turret and it gets destroyed in 2 seconds. Well I might have well brought an elixer or damage skill since I got about nothing out of that turret.
Turrets are great for farming events if you want to go somewhere else. However I hate how the Mob AI causes every mob to target the turret first as soon as it’s laid down.
Grenades do well in sPvP. Main reason most people avoid them is because every skill is a skill shot meaning you have to predict where your opponent is going to be OR be right next to them.
I’ve been 80 for a while and I’ve been playing with different builds. From what I’ve played with, I would say for pure dps in pve, grenades are the best.
My current spec for traits is 30/10/0/20/10 with these major traits:
Incendiary power: Burning is great for a little extra dps, and since you can already reliably stacking bleed and since I’m running at about 50% crit, I would rather have a 33% to apply burns rather than a 6% per charge to apply bleed.
Short Fuse: no explanation
Granadier: Again no explenation needed, if you do not take this trait and are using grenades please go shoot yourself
Precise Sights: Makes it easy to stack 25 stacks of vul meaning 25% more damage on longer fights aka boss fights or dungeon mobs
Fast-Acting Elixers: Reduce CD on elixers
Blood Injection or Backpack Regenerator: First offers more condition damage, other offers little more survivability
Static Discharge: Great trait, hits for about 2k-ish and can chain to 3 other mobs for me
Utilities:
Med Kit: Utility heal means it can activate static discharge also this kit provides a speed boost, and 3 med kits if you want to place them, and some condition removal
Tool Kit: The utility belt skill is amazing, 20 second cd and hits for a decent amount, also hits the mob twice. The kit itself provides nice skill such as a cripple, 2 second invul and a pull.
Elixer U: Quickness pop it to need a fast burn
Grenade Kit: Obviously
Supply Kit: 2 second stun on mobs, nice support turrets along with med kits. Mobs also love turrets and usually go for them right away.
