GangNam actually…named after the wealthy district in Seoul
Well then. :|
How ’bout more places to put your skill points. New traits etc.
…and for the record it’s Gangam Style.
WvW + Pets=needs to change. Pets are THE most annoying thing in a battle.
Get rid of the constant diminishing returns throughout the game!

LOL gangnum style!!!! YES!!!!!
I support being able to get the Gangnam Style dance ingame
Haha you and probably like, 90% of Guild Wars 2 players.
Seems like a lot of effort for minimal return. I agree dances would be viable because they hold humor to them (gangnum style, blah blah) but the other animations hardly add value to the game ( enough to make it worth it ).
‘Minimal return’ is definitely determined by the type of player and thier interests. It could mean nothing to you to work for a simple character animation but I could care less for Ascolonian Catacombs armor set. See how that works?
Also a thread I started here about it.

Sounds like tricky stuff as far as production. If considered by Anet I wouldn’t plan on seeing it until the distant future.
Your counter to this is the evade option. Also you can fight back too. Smart players know how to kill fast but intelligent players know how to survive.
Same, an option I would like to see is TDM with a Quake Live/Quake 3 Arena ‘Freeze Tag’ mode twist. The goal/way to score is to “Freeze”/kill the entire enemy team. You are able to “unfreeze”/revive your team mates during the match which works well with GW’s “downed” system. I prefer this over TDM where the goal is simply to rack up the most enemy kills.
I would also love to see a Capture the Leader game mode similar to Gears of War where one person on each team is randomly designated as the team leader. The enemy will keep re-spawning until the leader is killed.
Capture the leader would be awesome. I also think having a game where you must sabotage and objective while everyone has 1 single life per round would be awesome. High risk high reward.
There’s better gear than Karma gear in my opinion that you have to work just as hard for so I don’t see why not.
YES. Good suggestion. Account based karma would allow you to move right into having another character to play. Besides, there’s better stuff than Karma gear in my opinion, and they take just as much work so I don’t see why this shouldn’t be account based.
Plain and simple. Discuss.
Good suggestion – there’s a lot of standing poses, seating poses, dances, and social stuff I’d like – and am willing to pay for each one I get (but account based please, not per character)
You know account based is too good to be true haha.
I don’t buy gems with USD;b but well dunno about the “original” thingy, his point is that make it with gems, and you will be able to buy it with in-game currency as well
I support that idea, since you get approx 88 gems per g:) (might be wrong, it is something about a graph..)
As of now you’d get a lot more from the gemstore with 1g. I’ve noticed it sticks around 45c-70c per gem. If it’s dropped above/below I havn’t seen it yet.
I would compare this kind of item to a dye (more rare ofc). It’s a consumable that allows you to customize your character and when dropped/looted you have the ability to either sell it or consume and use it on your toon.
I assigned dodge to my middle mouse button, and it’s the best thing I’ve done – It’s way more precise and fast than double tapping. Try it.
Cool Beans
I personally think that karma might be a good option as well. I like the idea of working for things and taking time to earn them. Perhaps it would range from 40k karma to 60k karma. The game seems a bit on the easy side as far as aquisition to most things and would like a steep hill to climb to earn something cool.
I don’t like the idea of these being in the gem store because of the simple fact that players should take time and effort to make thier toon look amazing.
well it would not hurt to have all 3 options available:
custom animations / dances / emotes etc:
- bought with karma only
- bought with in game gold only
- bought with gems only
- craft-able via mystic forge
- monster drops
- etc
Hmmm. I guess rarity would decide where they are at. Regardless of where they’re at I still say expensive and/or hard to get.

I think 1000 members should be bought with influence. 100,000 influence for 500 extra players sounds fair.
I imagine something like what you see for the Guild Wars 2 professions picture with all the classes standing together. Being able to have that kind of customization would be amazing and would hope to see it in the future.
Coming from playing Aion to this I like my character run like a ninja. It seems NCSoft does have a tactic.
My thoughts on Eng. not being able to switch is the amount of turrets/cannon/ownage they can already put down. Being able to put down all that, then use your weapon skills for 2 weapons would amount to some serious dps.
My warrior wants two scepters.
WHAT IF WvW commanders (thing that costs 100g) were able to ride horses that gave a passive speed boost to everyone around. Would be soooooooooooo cool.
I didn’t even think of dances but yeah that would be nice as well. I want the hustle dance. Guess you could almost call them emote cards.
+1. It would add a whole new concept to WvW. I think badges of honor would be a good reward but that’s me.
The idea here is maximum customization. Being able to buy consumable cards that give your player a new way to idle, run, jump, sit, and possibly attack. They would be expensive like 5g-10g each and you could mix and match the animations. Run like a sprinter and jump like a ninja. Flips and stuff.
EDIT: Possiblity of it being a rare drop.

-Polearms
-Greataxes
-Bec de Corbins/Horseman’s pick
-Whips
-Flails
-Quarterstaffs
-Scythes
-Aura Hands/Gloves (2h-Magic-class-specific w/ powerful offensive spells that have a short range)
-Off-hand Boomerangs
I’d like to see weapons implimented that have never before been seen in ANY mass-multiplayer. and just imagine…
AND JUST IMAGINE BEING A RANGER WITH A WHIP AND A BOOMERANG.

+1 but I say up the difficulty and in return we get more drops. That what I hate about the new update with dungeons. Instead of reducing rewards just make them harder to get.
I agree. The UI needs some fine tuning as well. I think it needs to be a bit more responsive as far as skills with the fact being that I am a person who clicks on them with my mouse.
Yeah, when you push the up arrow to see your cache the links no longer work.
As in when someone links gear into chat and you ctrl/shift+click and it goes into your chat. I would like that very much.
Make Mini Pets usefull – Add a slot in the character so we can put a Mini pet in. If we could rename or even customize it, it would be great and probably would increase mini-pets sales.
Maybe have pets who auto-loot, carry more items, give certain PvE buffs that have a long cooldown. I like the idea.
I would love to be able to see who my target is targeting and how much health they have. The idea comes from Aion and those of you who have played it know that it is a useful part of UI.
Makes me want to “weave”.
It would make WvW very interesting indeed. Stack the bodies and mass res.
I think a selection of weapon skills should be implimented BUT have a hefty skill point price. Say like 20 for the first one, then the price goes up by 10-20 skill points for every skill you buy. Kind of like GW1 skills and money. Choose wisely….
I would definitely have something to do for a while.

You have a point but I think dervs should rely on magic to protect themselves.
I wouldn’t want it since you should go find your own style.
Gw2 is caek. Go bot in Orr. Geez.
I feel like the people for this thread have come from playing Aion. Having +10 gear make a huge imbalance when comparing to say a level 32 in WvW when you’re level 80 etc. The game is designed so that you don’t have OP gear. That being said you can get your gear to +10 with your playing skills.
Stop being poor guys. They didn’t make it easy to get rich for no reason.
For those of you who played the original Guild Wars and loved the Dervish class, I can guarantee you are longing to have it back in Guild Wars 2. As am I my good friends.

The Scythe
Obviously the Dervish class would not be the same without the almighty scythe. A new weapon would need to be implimented into the game but I’m sure it’s not something producers wouldn’t be able to handle.
The Armor
If you havn’t already noticed in WvW, the armor near the merchs and trading post looks as if it would fit right on a Derv. Armor Styles would look “Dressish” if you will and still have that awesome mystic look to them.
Other Things
-Passive Bleeding while using scythe. Stacks every one completion of chain skills used in the first skill slot by two.
-Slow attacks/High base damage.
-Medium armor.
-Avatar skills.
There’s a lot more I could put but I want to hear all the Dervish lovers’ ideas.
I’d be suprised if any class got nerfed. 6 years of work didn’t happen so a couple updates could switch some stuff around and make the game equivalent to another MMO. It’s better to develope your own strategies and how to counter a problem then coming to the producers complaining about 6 years of (near perfect) work.
Droppin off castle walls, smashin with perk I in strength and fear. Run back into the fortress. Repeat.
