I don’t understand why there is a “conversation” going on about this. It’s a really stupid, broken mechanic in its current state. Consideration implies that they’re contemplating leaving it the way it is, which would be a gross defiance to what i’d say most of the dungeon community wants (whether they have posted here or not).

I hope that the real conversation happening here is instead regarding the broader topic of GL’s projectiles and why it’s time to finally phase out reflection gimmicks

Bumping this for more attention. This system is completely abused and I’m sick of it. You spend lengthy amounts of time in dungeons just to be kicked over stupid things that really don’t make sense. Today I was kicked from Arah completely out of the blue at lupicus just because i didn’t warbanner in time when one person was down and the rest of the party was dead. Like…. I’m sorry if you suck so much that you can’t stay alive but why take it out on someone else?

A vain intent when you consider that Rush is the only attack that actually swings crotch-to-chin. Plus that would stay the same regardless of how the weapon is held while in motion.

Anet, it’s been a while since release, I think it’s high time to change up the running animation for female Norn holding the greatsword. Being the big, mighty race that they are, they shouldn’t be dragging the greatsword behind them like little weaklings just because they are female. It makes sense for the Sylvari and Humans to do this since they are naturally less bulky, but for the Norn it’s just totally out of character – and it looks bad.

It would be nice if they held the sword out a little more like the Charr at the very least. This is my Norn warrior she’s supposed to be STRONG AND MERCILESS; not some half-kitten weak girl dragging the sword behind her like she can’t handle that big boy.

Pleaseeeee consider this (assuming someone reads this, but lets be honest…lol)! This is more of an issue of their character not being portrayed right than just some random persons preference.

OH MY GOkittenhank you for bringing this up. This has been so effing annoying lately the warden just stands there and does nothing these days.

The female Norn voice is so amazing, I don’t know why anyone would complain. It doesn’t sound manly, it definitely is feminine, it’s just powerful and kitten (as it should be). The first time I heard the female Norn character beginning cutscene, I got chills because ANet got the voice acting sooo perfect for this role.

I was wondering if the transmutation splitter causes the shattered wing cover skin to be soul bound or if it will stay account bound as it is before transmuting it to something?

In other words:

The shattered wing cover skin is account bound before applying it to anything. If I apply it to an item it will become soulbound with the item. But if i use the splitter to get the wing cover skin back, will the skin still be soulbound or will it be account bound again?

What if I told A Net that this is the password to my Chase bank account? lol

I’m guessing the answer to this is probably “no”, but I wanted to ask because it’s been upsetting me. I was wondering if there is any way to alter the name associated with my entire account. It’s not something that I wanted to show up in every communicative function of the game (friends lists, guilds, etc…) I don’t know if I was prompted or not when creating it, but when I made the account I was under the impression that it wasn’t going to be visible to anyone.

Anyway, since it’s the account-wide name that’s how everyone refers to me and im extremely unhappy with it. I was wondering if support could work with me on this?

I haven’t played much since release (incoming noob question) and so I was wondering how people team up to do dungeons now. When I was last here there were always tons of people outside every dungeon forming parties for story/exp and I’ve quickly discovered that this doesn’t happen anymore.

Are theses forums the biggest way people team up for dungeons now or is there a new place that everyone forms up now? I’d like to do a lot of runs at once on different dungeons and some in story mode but nobody seems to do this anymore and these forums seem to be effective for just one time runs and stuff. Just kind of confused, thanks to anyone who can answer!

Does anyone know how to switch the wings between characters?

I know it says one time use, but I just wanted to be sure…..does this reward only let you use it on the back piece of just one of your characters or does it somehow unlock for use on multiple characters?

Well since this game isn’t completely solo-able like ANet claims, I was wondering if there is anyone out there who would like to team up to complete maps and/or personal story quests. I’m sitting in Diessa Plateau and some of the areas are just impossible to get because there are large pwnage mobs that spawn to quickly to solo, and the map is basically deserted.

Anyway, if you’re into exploring shoot me a PM and lets team up!!

Been looking for a guild like this. I was just wondering how you guys feel about necros in dungeons though. We get so much hate and I wouldn’t want to waste your time if you don’t like them on the team. haha

I love the necro but I might be leaving it as well. It’s not fun when you consider that everyone who runs dungeons sees necros as a burden to the team and won’t inv you. I think it would be a stretch to think that this one patch is going to change all of that….

Ok so I’m sure this question has been asked 1000 times before and beaten to death, but I’m pretty new to the Mystic forge. If I have 4 exotic items (not the same type), is it worth throwing them into the forge if I’m poor and can get a few gold out of simply selling them? Is it likely i’ll get something worth more or is this more like a game of chance, all or nothing kind of thing?

Are you guys planning on purchasing the book? Besides what we know so far, how do you think the story will progress? Have you read through the other two? Personally I can’t wait. Once I started reading the Ghosts of Ascalon and Destiny’s Edge I got so into the GW2 lore and I could not put the books down. If only these novels were twice the size haha!

I plan on purchasing Sea of Sorrows, it’s quite exciting! It’s a new author and Ree is a spectacular loremaster so I’m expecting great things.

Lvl 80 Necro nearing end game. Wondering if there are any all Necro guilds out there that focus on PvE. I’m really trying to get better the Necro and get the most of of it and it would be stimulating to learn with a group of similar individuals!

I had to stop playing a couple months after release because of rl issues, but I’m back and feeling really behind, so I need this to help catch up. Let me know if all you necs are out there still!
