Any plans to make these useable in the mists or perhaps on ascended gear?
I am happy to see timers. Currently there are actually two metas for dungeons, the zerker meta and the tank gear max range auto attack meta. The latter had to die.
Courtyard is great.
More arena’s like courtyard should be created then given there own queue. Until then, leave it as it is.
Please add dueling! Only in combat zones is fine, ie. no lions arch or divReach, whatever. Anyone who thinks the community will be negatively affected obviously doesn’t read current map chat.

Festivals and zerg fights are all you’re getting.

There is no trinity in gw2 because the vast majority of the playerbase knew what they were buying and didn’t/don’t want one.

About this ‘no dungeon team’? did they lay off the dungeon devs?
Stacking isn’t a cheese strategy. It’s efficient. There is still good gameplay even when stacking. Also, you aren’t being very specific as to what encounter, just making some generalizations.
Good groups realize:
- You still need to dodge
- You can res downed players quickly
- You can share your boons/blast fields with your party
- You can remove team conditions
- You can hinder the group by putting down unwanted fields (I’m looking at you bad necros)Bad groups think:
- You stack and spam 1>2>3>4>5 and 6 sometimes.The dungeon was AC P3 i thnk… the end lizard. dodge? nope. 12345 and sometimes 6? nope. afk autoattck while smoking….

Your group may have made use of the serious Exploit&problem called using gear with “Healing power”, “Toughness” and “Vitality”.

Depends on what boss and what strategy you’re using.
There are some actual glithces, but I think they are few, and probably more harmful glitches to the players than there are beneficial ones.
There are also a lot of strategies that people don’t like so they call them glitches, when in reality it’s just strategy.

I recently returned to GW2 after a long break… fun game!
I am wondering however, are there any plans to fix the boss glitching? The same glitches were being used 6 months ago? Please….

If you wanna really punish leavers, give them some big icon above their head so everyone see their shame:-) Some leavers leaderboards will be fun too. Also NPC in mists can yell leavers names.
Would be hilarious to hear npc’s mocking people for leaving matches!

1) This is just a video game. Real life preempts it. You’ll discourage normal people with normal people priorities if you punish people for not being able to make it to a tourney they signed up for.
And what about the other four players who get their win/loss record tarnished because of the leavers/no shows?
Bottom line is, if you screw over an entire team in sPvP/tPvP you deserved to be punished, regardless the reason why you did it.
It is unfair to punish others trying to play the game for YOUR real life problems.
2)You can’t control people. Any harsh penalty will do more harm then good. Instead of tourneys popping with leavers sometimes, you’ll get a tourney system that takes 3 hours to pop.
I don’t see any correlation whatsoever between punishing leavers/no shows and an increase in queue times…. if anything making people stick to the tourney they signed up for should make rosters fill quicker… not the other way around.
A) Life sucks. Wear a hat. RL >This game. That will always be true.
B) You know what, you’re right. Just like the drug war has reduced the number of drug users in the USA, and the war on terror has reduced terrorism around the world, I’m sure harsher penalties on leavers will reduce their numbers and improve the overall quality of the queue.
It really isn’t too much to ask that a person has a reasonable expectation of finishing a match before joining… if you don’t think you’ll be able to finish, hotjoin. Pretty much all the suggestions in this thread acknowledge the accidental/incidental leaver and noone wants harsh penalties for these players… but currently there are way too many afk’rs and leavers and RL is not the reason.

I like this idea… would be really fun to see how many could get their HC characters to 80 and beyond.
Consideration would need to be taken for the untintentional disconnects.. power outage etc. The punishment ban could scale with repitition… first time 15 minutes (take the time to restart your router or whatever), second time in 24 hrs gets 1 hr (if really unintentional then take this hour to get your kitten right), 3rd time 24 hrs gets 24hr ban. And afking should be treated as match abandonment getting the treatment above. I also like the idea of showing the abandon matches in the players rating or leaderboard or whatev, like someone said above.
To clarify, the bans i mention above should only be for tpvp.
Really needs to be a abandon match penalty of some kind. Someone either afks or just quits almost every match… if not on my team, then the other. Sux either way. Would be funny if the players with history of afking or abandoning were just matched against each other!! lol
So i guess now anyone who has refused all this time to l2counter stealth will just post up in their trap and not leave… lol.
Imagine the possibilities of allowing players/parties/guilds to challenge in the open world… keep the griefing at bay with toggle and limits to location. I think it would be VERY fun! I’d love battle players in the amazing PVE environments!
The arenas are a good start.
Dueling is fun! Just add a toggle for duel-ability and we can all be happy. While your at it, party v party and GvG ‘duels’ would be great too. Yes, there is the mist… but to challenge friends in the open world would be fantastic. (perhaps no duels in citys… ie. LA)
Adding features can only help the longevity of the game. If there was truely a consensus against duels.. would this thread and the thousands of others even exist?

I guess needing 5 players for a dungeon party is also needless gating of content…. just so unfair.
Being angry that larger guilds can earn more influence than a smaller one, hence buy better stuff,in this case missions… is unjustified and wrong. From the beginning the tools were present to grow a healthy size guild…politics. For a guild to choose not to use the tools and stay small and to then complain that they can’t collect the rewards? What?!?
Personally, I don’t care for dailies… I sign on, run some dungeons with my guild, do some wvw…whatever I want. But I never seek out dailies… The point you ask? I don’t expect to have a bank full of laurels!!! This is how things work! Yes you can play the game anyway you want, I for one encourage this!.. but don’t complain if you choose not to seek out a reward! What do you think? We should all jsut be issued all available game rewards at first logon? Regardless of time, effort, strategy etc….

Yes, it is better to have more players in your guild!.. as it should be.
Except the majority don’t mind the butterflies as they are. Besides, would rather have them spend their time fixing bugs than changing colours.

As a DD theif I can say the landing of death blossom is very predictable based on your position and the postition of your target…once you get that down you will have no problem placing yourself int he correct position to initiate the DB and land safely. I have run cof dozens of times.
I think some people are missing the point that me being in WvW is only helping the opposing servers and hindering my own.
Been trying to tell these induhviduals that for months but it never sinks in. Guess that’s fine for everyone but your own server, which is why they have kitten all to say about it.
Camp those server spots and be as useless as you can be. That’s what map completion is all about. Glad it’s optional so I can pretend that I’m actually there of my own volition and not just wasting my time, in addition to that of my “team”.
Guess you should have bought a game that was %100 pve then.

I’ve changed my mind… I am against a taunt mechanic. There is just way too many solutions to this problem already implimented. No easy button.
Having rolled two chars to 80.. i can say the lvl of combat depth is dependant on the user. Unfortunately the pve open world is so crazy easy…players don’t realize this until much later. Keep playing and learning your characters…

Personally, i don’t really do the rez faster than damage thing too much though… you can knock-back then stun… kite away, invis, then blink back etc. There are tons of possiblities depending on your setup that can be of use in this situation.
