You ever see someone drinking San Pellegrino? It’s basically seltzer that comes in a tiny green bottle for like $10. I just don’t value it enough to spend $10 on some sparkling water. I’d rather fill my canteen at the sink. I’m not saying it’s bad, just not worth it for me.

After a hotjoin match, it takes too long to get back into the lobby. I have a high end computer with a solid state disk and it takes 1-2 minutes. That’s too long. It needs to be optimized somehow.

I did not know that you could not salvage a vendor item. I have read that this is to discourage people from salvaging for raw materials. I never knew this, and I put Melandru’s runes in some WvW armor that I bought. Now I want to upgrade to Ascended and I can’t get my runes!

I am not made of money, I can’t afford 6 new Melandru’s runes. How can I get them out? Shouldn’t there be a message that says you can’t ever recover this expensive inserted item?

As you can see, not every waypoint is contested. Once you waypoint to the map, only those waypoints that are truly contested will show up as contested.

in keg toss people can throw the keg across the entire arena, negating the entire game. there is no reason to pass from half way to another player who then scores the goal. people pick up the keg and throw it, the whole way.

in crab toss, guardians are getting aegis and blocking attacks, so if you go to snatch the crab you get “blocked” all passive abilities should be disabled in mini games

going to bump this thread until this is fixed. someday when robotic nurses are emptying my catheter bag in neo seoul this will be taken care of.

People don’t play the game to improve… other people’s gameplay. If you want to “shake things up” and get players who never change traits or skills to learn, that’s fine, but bar them from the difficult content. You are putting the special ed kids in with the honors class.

Because some people have not yet begun to make ascended armor. I don’t have a single piece across 3 level 80s. The price of silk is going to stay high, probably for months.

Hey is Mesmer screwed on Beaten Bloody achievement? My phantasms don’t deal damage to the Bloody Prince because they are not on the candy coat. Of course, I could lure the Prince to the slop, but that takes time, and there’s a 1 minute limit. Which leaves me ranging with the auto-attack…

What obvious tactic am I missing?

I decided to guest to a server with capable leadership since Henge of Denravi is only filled with WvWers and have all but given up. I guested to Tarnished Coast since they seem to be into PvE and would be able to put up a decent fight. I got into a queue like a good little slave and decided to do my time in Tequatl Purgatory, waiting for enough people to leave so that I could get out of the overflows onto the “real” map, where coordinated players are located. Unfortunately after 3-4 overflow jumps, Ziggy informed me that I had a Network Error, to check my connection. Well I hadn’t lost connection at all, I was perfectly fine. The game simply decided I couldn’t advance any longer and would not advance me in the queue.

Look, if you are going to lock people out of the content of the game, you’re gonna have to make it so that doing your time in Folsom County eventually leads you to the promised land. Or else nerf the encounter so that it doesn’t require 100 coordinated people to do. I know some of the people in this game get a raging clue from lording over people who have not succeeded at content from no fault of their own, but that’s probably not going to make the majority of people who play this game very happy. I look forward to people telling me how terrible of a player I am.

I read your post and realized how accurate it is to real life. In real life if aliens came and attacked us we wouldn’t band together and repel them. We would kill each other, sell each other out, complain about one another and ultimately die before we could ever put up a defense.

The Pact in the main story is the most fictitious part of this whole game, really.

Exactly. Tom Brady may be one of the greatest QB of all time but if no one catches his passes, they can’t win. The servers that are winning now are planned by large guilds. They snipe a particular overflow where they can choose who participates. This is not pug capable content. If that’s the intention, then so be it. But if you planned for strangers to rally together and somehow succeed you are sorely mistaken.

What is being done about server lag during dynamic events leading to a chest/bonus chests?

I was just at Frozen Maw and received zilch because I got kicked off the server right before the Champion died. Why shouldn’t I receive anything when I did the entire chain up to the Champion? I asked in game and the answer was: When Anet decides to buy better/faster servers. From what I hear, you guys are making boatloads of cash. Can that be now, so that I’m not wasting my time? It would be nice.

Op, people asking for harder and harder content DO want it to be nearly impossible. NEARLY. So that when they do complete it, it’s an actual achievement. That they can lord over all others.

I’ve run more than 30 people through this event, I have run this event a total of more than 300 times. I have seen two aetherized skins drop, both in the first 100. Since then I’ve seen a WHOLE LOT of white weapons drop, warhorns, pistols, torches, axes, rifles, some blues, some greens rarely enough, LOTS of aetherized scraps.

BUT NOT A SINGLE other weapon. Can I get some Anet confirmation that these skins do still drop after that patch? Are all these white items I’m getting supposed to be skins and I’m just getting shafted by a bugged patch??

Second, I agree that something MAY be wrong. But there’s no way to know. It’s like Final Rest. It looks right on paper but after actual investigation, ain’t possible. The problem with temp content like this is that we will never know. It’s gone soon, so no need to investigate. Like when I’m climbing the Labyrinth and see the instigator quest stuck on 4/5. No problem, we don’t need to fix it, the temp content is gone soon. washes hands

Used your method and it worked. Feels good to get it done

I used traited mantras to get 3 of each, and higher dps when mantras are up. All Power and Precision and Greatsword for maximum range.

People are saying to run away so that the 20 mobs disengage from you but they don’t return to their spot they follow me around to the other side. Trying to get out of combat to get my health to restore means that the plunderers get the loot. All the “tricks” don’t work. I want to see a post-patch video, not declarations of “yeah I’ve done it on every class no big deal”.

Also reiterating that even if it’s possible, it’s only because it’s being exploited a different way, by disengaging and praying that the enemies reset their positions. There is no way to actually FIGHT the enemies and kill plunderers. All you are doing is avoiding them. If you enter the middle “kill zone” you die instantly. Very poorly designed, not fun, and unfair. Every person’s achievement should have been reset when it was patched. If it is truly possible then people who have beat it using “skill” should have no problems doing it again.

Not only is it impossibly hard, it is bugged. After you fail, the enemies remain. I find it hilarious that the guy that walks with you when you start literally dies immediately. I started it and he took 20 stacks of vuln and just dropped dead instantly. Great instance.

Can anyone reply, in a non-condescending “well it was easy for me HEH noob” manner, how this is supposed to be done in tier 3 and 4? I’m getting frozen, immobilized and destroyed. If you don’t have enough DPS you can’t kill the mobs before they steal, and if you are glass cannon you just die right away.

Very much agree with this, to move the achievements to the Fractal list. That way the hardness of the dungeon remains and no one misses out because they couldn’t find a competent group.

Just joined a group advertised on g2lfg as “experienced only”. People died instantly before the beam even came out. I just dropped as soon as I was pulled into the beam. With not enough people alive there is too much pressure on the few remaining players and as soon as the achievement is failed there is no reason to hang around. So much for promoting camaraderie. Putting a timer on this event means I will end up being as selfish as possible to make it in time. If this was your guys intent to kill the community you are succeeding.

What kind of groups are you guys running in? I’ve been in multiple PUG’s and all of them have done it in under 15 minutes. Even some horrendously bad groups where I didn’t think it’d be possible for any one to get the achievement. Multiples downs and deaths on the boss yet still doing it within the time limit. This dungeon/achievement doesn’t need a nerf. If anything we need more difficult content. People like you prevent any sort of challenge within this game because whenever the slightest bit of difficulty arises you cry for it to be nerfed.

All I can say is get gud.

I keep seeing these posts. I’m legally blind in both eyes and someone is punching me in the face but I easily beat it with a PUG of upleveled Rangers in 6 minutes flat while gargling the National Anthem with turpentine.

It’s so disingenuous after attempting this with PUG after PUG and always being the last man standing watching my team die to slowly rotating energy beams or getting one-shotted by Mai.

It’s bad, man. It’s real bad. I hate running around and looking at my party bar and its just greyed out life bars. PUGs easily owe me like 50s. Please, make this permanent or make it easier.
