thanks Anet for giving Maguuma a 3rd straight week against a tier 2 server. Nothing like getting pummeled by 60-80 man zergs constantly for a 3rd week in a row.

Why would you want anything that was previously T4? Mag rolls over all those servers with no effort.

This is a silly response. I think it’s obvious at this point that somewhere between the two would be better. A fight with even numbers at any given time would be ideal. Are you saying that you would rather be constantly outnumbered?

I wish there was a way to go into other matches in spectator mode. Does Darkhaven have one final push in it tonight? 6k isn’t an insurmountable lead, but Yaks can turtle up pretty kitten well too… would make for great twitch tv!

You may want to look into Yaks Bend — Good solid community filled with passionate people and we have some solid roamers on the server.. We also have a great group of guilds you could chose from..

Ok so this has been bothering me for a while and I skimmed a page of the forums and didn’t really see a post about just this problem alone so I figured I would throw it out there —

My problem with the pts in the rank system is simple. Its not finished yet and there is no way to reset your points.. I have recently put my points in some of the ranks based on how I play WvW and what I think would be most beneficial to my style of play and my servers style of play. Now say I did this 3.5 weeks ago and had used up all of my points because I saw what was available and went for it. Now there were no updates or posts giving us any information on what the future holds for the pts or the ranks or if new categories were being created (such as the two new building/repairing categories). So now I have new things to put pts into but no way to reallocate the pts I had already used. To me this just seems like an easy fix — every time you release updates adding new categories to the rank system give us our points back so we can decide on if we want that line or not.. Its almost like your penalizing the people who are using up their points now because you guys at Anet have not finished WvW or really figured out the direction you want WvW to go in entirely..

So in a nut shell my question is, Why is it so difficult for Anet to give us a way to reallocate our points after they update the abilities you are able to get.

Not to make excuses because BP and DH have played really well this week.. BUT, we here at Yaks Bend did lose our biggest WvW guild and there was no PvE content released.. Meaning we don’t have RAM and we don’t have the casual players because they are busy with the new content/items in the game — We are still here though and we will likely face one of these 2 servers again next week.. Hopefully we will be back to normal playing times as a server next week..

Zeu, as the other 2 people already said just S of the S camp in any BL where the windmill is, is the known place for GvG’s to happen — usually its far enough S where the Camp doesn’t even matter..

You should come take a look at Yaksbend — We have a need for a WvW based guild right now seeing as though we lost one of our biggest ones to FA this week. I can give you the whole speech as to why yaksbend is awesome but I wont.. If you want to join a server that doesn’t have crazy ques or anything like that.. You apparently don’t see us ranged people doing our job towards the back of the group or clearing walls. Lots of players lose their lives trying to res their team mate while I dump grenades on their head.

In all fairness a lot of the open field fights are won because there are a lot of guardians ahaha.. but your comments are true too.. as a commander I love having groups with a lot of tanky people.. but I also hate trying to take a keep with very little ranged guys..

It’s sad you don’t step up to your facts , why didn’t get a lil closer , pressed Ctrl and checked the so called " open field siege ", if we wanted to fight you we would of gone there , we don’t use siege when we outnumber you or even numbers or when you outnumber us atleast when i run it ,don’t low down from PYRO even more , because i like it when we have open field fights with you guys and i think we already did tonight in CD BL didn’t we ? fun night in CD BL and YB BL , but in CD BL “hence” the water at the centre island ,you guys kept chasing us there and we were just jumping in the water and then came out and we fought and..you already know what happened i don’t need to brag about it and then all the other fights all around and i hope we left an impression we getting the hang of it.

Could be, it was last night. There were 10 golems and 3 portals were dropped, for some unknown reason the portals were dropped away from the gate, we managed to get 9 down before they went the 10 feet to the gate, one was able to hit the gate once.

We knew you had a big zerg there, but no one came with the golems (just a few players). So it was lots of “wtf” and “lol” on our part.

yeah my bet is a few people jumped the gun and pushed without the zerg with them.. ohhwell haha.. bet that was fun..

There’s been a lot of people trying hard in CD. The arrival of KWBH did help a bit for morale and the new system/ascended gear helped everyone I would hope. We want to win this matchup, badly. And there’s no more satisfying way to do it than in a close tight fight.

To those unsung heroes that defend the caravan, yay.

Also I had such a good laugh about the 10 golem rush by YB last night. I know you guys must’ve been mad, credit goes to great scouting we had. After that the huge YB zerg just left, which is the goal in defense anyways.

As for Maguuma, great roamers so in that respect I get to have fun because I roam a lot, but overall I don’t care too much for the match up since Maguuma just trolls a bunch and that’s what they are famous for. Kind of sad because they are also the result of some of the best fights but their mouth is by far their biggest weapon.

As for the remainder of the 2 days… We expect YB to push hard before the reset, but we are prepared to defend this lead and win the week.
